Beyond The World Plan

The battle between me and Lily is about to start. I prepare my sword and concetrate myself to the enemy in front of me. She is an adventurer that known as [Lord of Hunter], same like Ray who already has a high status. I must be careful in my move because I am being look down by her. I will show you that I am not as weak as you thought.

She took her katana off from it sheath. The existence of katana has been disappeared for a very long time until the point where no one remember it is exist. In history, no one able to recreate the weapon that the hero in the past create by himself.

The spell inside the arena has been activated. The barrier starting to cover the arena, make sure that the attack will not injure the audience even though only the princess and the head knight Ryan here. That old man come to see what can he learn from this battle.

She gave the permission for me to attack here. Even though she sound like understimating me but from her voice she take me seriously, I must be careful of her. First, I need to check her status. I am sure that her power is much lower than him but I want to make sure of it. I target my [Divine Appraisal] to her to see her status clearly. Wh-what is this!? What the meaning of this?? The specified status of her is all can not be read. This skill never failed before even to someone who the level is higher than me. But now, it can't read hear status! What's wrong with her?

The result of my appraisal shocked me, enough to make me unconciously move my body away from her. I appearantly want to know her status so I can make my strategy on facing her but nothing can be known by me.

Once again, my body want to move away from her. Even some part in my mind also tell me to surrender and escape from here. I feel a great bloodl.u.s.t coming to me from her smile. Yeah, she is smiling right now but it's not a normal smile. It full of killing intent like a predator found her prey. The sense of not letting away, enough to make the prey give up their life and become her food.

My body tremble but I strengthen my mind. I force my body to move as my will. I charge to her and shorten my distance from her. She is not moving from her place and not a single tip of her body show any intention to move.

The distance become shorten and shorten and she almost in my attack range. She still not move her body even though she is in danger. At that time I realize that there is something wrong happen. But I am too late to realize that.

Thorn vines coming out from the ground in front of me. It seals my movement and bind my body tightly. The thorn pierce my armor and my skin so I am bleeding. My HP goes down too fast. Even if I use [Heal], it won't help too much in this situation. Instead of power, she using a trap to catch her prey. And I fell to her trap too easily so I already ended in one move. She is not a predator, she is a hunter.

She coming closer to me and pointing her sword on my neck. It touch me and cut a bit of my skin so blood coming out from my neck

It hurts! It hurt, it hurt, IT HURTS!!! I screaming in my mind loudly. Even though my mouth wide open but not a single sound come out from it.

Again with an innocence smile she give to me, she take back her sword to it sheath and releasing the vine that tied me up. Too much blood coming out from my body so my body lost it strength. The moment the vine no longer bind me, I kneel to the ground bearing the pain from my wound.

"Wh-what...is..that spell? I never...saw that before."

A spell that make thorn vines come out of nowhere and tied a people tightly enough to kill someone from losing too much blood. Moreover, she can use it without chanting. What a scary skill.

"That's unnecessary. With the fact you got intimidated and fell for a trap easily that means it's still too early for you to go outside. This is not like your world and I am sure you know that. But still, you will die even if you have to fight a small monsters right now." (Lily)

The barrier disappeared from the arena and I can hear Lily's step moving away from me. I clench my teeth hearing she humiliate me through her word.

"THAT'S NOT FAIR!!!"

I shout out loud while looking at hear. Just moving my body a bit and I must bear the terrible pain from my wound. She looks at me with no expression eyes.

"You used magic in this battle without using your sword. So what's the point you take it out from it sheath!!?"

She moving her head against me and continue to walk exit the arena. Princess Violet coming to me and heal my wound, leaving no trace of scar on my body.

"You are too naive if you think everyone will fight you fairly. Let it be your lesson to not easily raising your death flag." (Violet)

The princess answer my question instead of her. She also walk outside after healing me with face full of disappointed. Ryan approaching me that still kneel down to the ground. He help me stand up and escort me to my room.

She is too strong, even I think I will never get her fall to the [Charm]. I must to think the other way to at least get rid of her from Princess Violet. The fact that I can't get her in my hand still can't be accepted. However if I push myself more to get her maybe I will get myself killed. She seems like doesn't care who is the enemy. If they wan't to target her, she will fight them no matter what will happen next. These type of people that too hard to deal if I have to face them directly.

I do not have much time for doing as I like because after the party, I am sure I will spend most of my time on journey. At least I want to get the princess in my army and for my self satisfication.

I resting in my room trying to think another way to get rid of Lily. But, I always remembering what happen in the arena this day. The sense of killing intent and her cold eyes make my body shiver and I can't think anything else. Even now, I am afraid leaving my room.

No, I must fight those feelings. Otherwise I will never finish my job as a hero. I guess I will rest for a bit to maintain my mental state.

I couldn't make Lily in my hand. It means I have to get rid of her. I can't approach her directly since she is too dangerous for me. I must thinking a way to trap her, make sure that she will not going in my way with Violet.

I race with time since I do not know when Ray will back here but I couldn't do anything for the rest of the day except laying on my bed healing my mind. It frustating! Seems like Ray already know that I do not have a chance to take her in so he can leave Violet to her. But still, I will found a way to make you regret your decision because getting in my way have Violet. Until the rest of the day, I only stay in my room and forcing my brain to work hard.

We walk tothe place where the quest asked to. My feet stopped suddenly when I saw a village full of goblin under the cliff.

"Alright, let's stop here. I will explain the rules."

I turn my body to Cecil who waiting what I am gonna say.

"This is the hardest quest I can found for G rank, kill twenty goblins. If you finish it you can raise your rank to F."

"Then I will finish this quest quickly. Not only twenty, I will annihilate the whole village." (Cecilya)

She take her bow out and start running down the cliff.

"Wait!"

With the power of the slave crest, she hit the ground hardly.

"I am not finish yet."

"What's wrong, master!? Why are you stopping me? All I need to do is killing those goblins right? You can count on me. I will not fail in this quest." (Cecilya)

I scratch my head and approaching her.

"Maybe you right but since this quest is too easy for someone like you, I will raise the difficulty."

She get up from the ground while cleaning her clothes from dirt.

"What kind of challenge you want me to do?" (Cecilya)

I grin to her and tell her my 'extra' task.

"I want you to kill them without alerting them."

She freeze at her place she standing without response. Goblins live like human, they are a colony under their leader. They making a village and live there. They also hunting for food and sometimes kidnap females to give birth their child. Moreover, they hunt in groups so it's hard to kill them silently without getting notice by them. She maybe know about that so that was her response.

She gathers her courage and look at my eyes full of reason.

After that, she approaching the village carefully. I want to know how will she finish this task.
