Beyond The World Plan

Six month has past since I found out the secret room inside the cave. I learn many thing that I do not know before.

I manage to read all of the book in one month. I remember all the detail that wrote in the book. Even before that 'Incident', I have ability to read faster than anyone else and memorize them in one go.

I also train my physical ability and weapon art. Trying each type of weapon and get the most suitable for I use. I more suitable using knives.

You are not wrong, I use two knives at the same time. In my right hand I use for attack and left hand I use it backward for defences. I found out this is the most effective way in fight for me.

I also learn about magic. First thing that I try is affection to an element. There is basic element that common to find anywhere and unique element that rare to find.

Unique element is special case, only people who has [God Blesses] who can master it.

For basic element, there's <Fire>, <Water>, <Earth>, and <Wind>. As for unique element there is only one, <Light>.

And there is one more element that people say the Symbol of Destruction, <Dark>. And that's my affection magic.

If the 'Incident' never happen, sooner or later I will be found out carrying <Dark> element. I will be executed immediately. That mean, I can not use this magic on public or I will be chased out.

And there goes last thing I do in six month recently. Yap, the experiment. After retrieving [Dimension Storage], I continue my experiment on enchancing weapon with monster core.

There is another thing I have interest, <Mana>. The basic essence of magic, if I can control it than I can use any magic. But, this thing need lot focus and imagination to make it work. Before that we must know how to trace mana too.

I already made progresses on them. I am able to control it last month and already make a new kind of magic.

<Cration Art>, allow me to materialize something that I imagine. Of course I need real material to do that.

<Transform Art>, allow me to change something with my imagination. I can change shape of thing that already made also change spell chanting that already casted.

I also improve my technique and a skill that pure from technique. <Trick Art>, Skill that only use physical ability without any magic use.

Well, I still improving all those art. Many weakness that I need to fix. I still continuing my experiment and learning alchemist. Make something new give me a p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e that I can't describe.

Right now, I running from two Fang Wolves. They are quick and dangerous even they are alone. They are already close to me.

At that time, I draw my knife from my right pocket and change my direction to them. They are surprised and can't react at the right time.

I manage to kill one of them. Another one in my back and trying to attack me. I crouch than draw my left knife and stab him on the throat. With this I have kill them all.

"To think I have improved this far in six month."

The first time I fought them, I nearly dead. Somehow I manage to escape them.

"Well, I must dismantle it and take the meat with me."

When I flay the wolf, I hear a sound. Something that made from broken wood and smell of blood.

I quickly store the wolves in [Dimension Storage] and rush toward the sound. Group of merchant surrounded with Fang Wolves and Flare Wolf.

Flare wolf is one of evolution from fang wolf. When evolved monster appear, he rule his race.

Few people still survive. The merchant and only one of mercenary survived. But not long from that they were killed.

I am too late to help them. Everybody from that group has killed. Or so I tought.

The wolves surrounded something. Maybe, someone still alive. And so that's true, a girl around my age still survive somehow.

She has a tail and wolf ear. It is sad to see this, pack of wolves try to kill wolfkin, how ironic.

Well, I still can save her. With that kind of determination, I make a move before they killed her.

Focusing my power on my feet and release them in one go. This is the first thing that I learn and improved it since six month ago.

"<Trick Art> [Airdash]!!"

"...So, it's the end. No one ever want me to live. It's good that no one longer have to die because my curse."

I close my eyes, ready to be killed from pack of wolves. I have no place to call home.

Everyone that live with me is suffering. I sold to the slave merchant by my own village because of that.

It's better for me to die because I never wanted to born with this curse. I am ready to die.

"<Trick Art>[Airdash]!!!" (???)

"Who is that? Is he trying to save me? It's impossible he will survive. Once again, someone has died because of me."

"Eh??"

I was dragged out from the wolves? Is it real?

I open my eyes. In front of me someone with white hair carrying me out from the wolves. How can he survive?

"Seems like you are allright. Any injuries?" (???)

I shake my head. After that he put me down. Is he real? He turn his back to me.

"Come on, hop on my back. I will carry you out of here."(???)

"It's Impossible. With my curse you will die. Just leave me! Let me die!"

I warn him about my curse. I hope he will listen to me or he will die. That's right, it's better for me to di...

"Do you want to die?" (???)

He ask me while turn his face to me. He see me with angry face like he really disappoint with my decision.

This is the first time someone see me like that after I said to leave me behind. He is staring at me, waiting my answer.

In truth I don't want to die yet. I want to live longer enjoying my life. This is because of my curse. I no longer have any hope to live in this world.

Suddenly he take me by force and pick me up on his back. I surprise with that move. What is he thinking?

"I don't have much time so I will make this quick. Just make sure you won't fall."(???)

He saying that while look at front of him. The wolves charge toward us. It's pretty close, they can attack whenever they want.

"<Trick Art>[Airdash]!" (???)

After that we already far from ground. It feels like flying. I tighten up to him, make sure I not falling.

He try to grab something. And then a potion came out of nowhere. I shock for that. I can not believe my eyes.

"Take THIS!!!" (???)

He throw that potion to them. The place the bottle break suddenly become ice field and freezing everything near it.

After that, he charge forward while in air. Once again, I can not believe my eyes. There is someone so strong while they are just a child like me.

I watch from his back, his white hair wavering from wind that calmly blow to us. I see he is looking at me with a gentle smile.

"So, may I know what is your name?" (???)

He asking my name with that face. Somehow I feel comfortable with him. He is the first one who save me from dead.

I have escape from death many times. Even in the worst situation. Like the world don't want me to die yet. I do not know the reason why is that happen.

I am for sure think that this time I will die. But he suddenly out of nowhere help me escape once more.

"My name is Lily. Thank you for helping me. But, you must let me go after this." (Lily)

After I said that, we landed on the ground and immediately get off his back. I bow to him as my thanks and take a move to out of here.

"Oi, oi. Seriously? Why you are such a hurry? If there something in your mind, please speak up. All I want to do is chase you if you not speak to me." (???)

I remain silent. I do not know if I can tell this. Maybe he will kill me after I let him know about the curse.

"You said something about curse, isn't it? Are you have a curse? Please, let me know. Maybe I can help with your curse." (???)

He said it so gentle. He tell me he can help? Is he a priest?

I turn my face to him and begin to speak about my curse.

"When I was born, there was no one who want to close to me. That is because they know about this curse. The name of the curse is [Child of Catastrophe]. Only my parents who want with me. But when I was 6, they are dead because of me." (Lily)

He place his finger on his chin and close his eyes. He maybe start thinking I am dangerous to him and want to leave me. Only from the name, people would leave me alone.

"Whenever someone with me, bad thing always happen. Many people die in front of me. I don't have right to live anymore. So because of that, please leave me alone!" (Lily)

I bow my head and crying. I hope he is understand and just leave me here so I can die.

"You say you have this curse since you born, right?"(???)

"Y-yes." (Lily)

"I get it." (???)

He said it while nodding his head. Is he finally decide to leave me.

Suddenly, there is a voice of bushes. It feels like something run to here.

"So he is finally here." (???)

"W-What do you mean?"(Lily)

"I know that freeze potion won't effective to him. But with this, he is alone." (???)

He said that while grinning. It give me a chill. It feels like he already know that this will be happen.

"All you need to do is stay behind me. My name is Ray and I will save you!" (Ray)

He said he will save me? That is impossible, right?

Oh I get it. He will let the wolf running here and then leave me alone. He want to release me from suffering. I must say thanks to him.

When I want to open my mouth, he draw his knives from side. He standing there waiting the wolf come closer. What is he trying to do?

The flare wolf is coming here. I escaped from pack of wolves that attacked merchant carriage by frozing them. However one of them is a flare wolf, evolved monster from fang wolf and frozing him is just to slow it.

But if it alone, I can win it. And next to me there is a girl of wolfkin around my age with brown hair and tail. Her name is Lily.

Lily is someone who got a curse called [Child of Catastrophe] that bring a calamity to whoever close to her.

There is no way to cure a curse that given since born. Even with the best priest in the country. I know that from Takeru's book that he wrote.

Someone who bear a curse since born is has to be killed. Luckily for her, because of the curse she still alive.

However, it seems like no effect on me. I wonder why, but it is not the right time to thinking this. Wait, seems like I get it. I nodding my head and suddenly there was sound in the bushes.

The flare wolf has come closer. Good, now let's settle it down.

"So he is finally here." (Ray)

"W-What do you mean?" (Lily)

"I know that freeze potion won't effective to him. But with this, he is alone." (Ray)

I step forward and grin, this will be a perfect test how much I have improved in six month.

"All you need to do is stay behind me. My name is Ray and I will save you!" (Ray)

She seems like still confused with what I said. Maybe she is thinking that I will use her as a decoy and run away. Unfortunately, I won't do that.

I draw my knives from my side and cross my arm. This is my optimal battle position to me. With my left knife I use is backward, I am ready with everything will come from my opponent.

But this time I will take the initiative move, so I hold my left knife like the other one. I want to end this quickly.  It is closer, I have see it shadow.

"Let's finish it at once. <Trick Art> [Blink Slash]!" (Ray)

In a blink I already behind of that wolf. A second later, it movement stopped and his head detached from it's body.

I in hurry use my [Dimension Storage] to it's body to avoid attracting other monster come here.

I see she stand in silent there. She probably can not believe that I seriously save her.

"W-What are you thinking idiot. Why would you save me. Didn't I have told you that you will die if you with me." (Lily)

She shout at me while blushing. Wow, that's surprisingly so cute. I approaching her and pat her head.

"Don't you see that I still alive. After listening your condition, do you really think I can leave you alone?"(Ray)

As I said that, she her face become more red. She open and closing her mouth. Eh...seems like she out of word. It's really really cute.

"Leave that aside, you said you have this curse since you born here,right?" (Ray)

"Y-yes."(Lily)

She answer it while looking on the ground. Is she angry to me?

"Doesn't that means it is a [God's Blesses]?" (Ray)

I resume my question. Seems like she is shock with what I said.

"What do you mean? It is a different thing you know?" (Lily)

"Doesn't it same. Try to think about it. The bless and curse is given when someone born to this world. They are the same thing that given by God after all." (Ray)

I said what I have conclude in my mind. She seems more or less got the point with what I say.

"If that's the case then I think I can cure it." (Ray)

As I said that, finally her face show a hope.

"Is what you say true? All I know there is no way to cure it." (Lily)

"It is just my deduction. But there is nothing wrong if we want to try it, I can guarantee it. Just promise me you won't tell anyome about this." (Ray)

"I promise I will not tell anyone." (Lily)

I said that because it will be problem if everyone know about this. After all I do not want to draw any attention because it will be a problem.

After she said it, I nod my head and begin concentrate. I thinking of the chanting and imagine it's effect. All of that I do in my mind.

"Let's take a shot. <Phantasm Art> [Void Purification]." (Ray)

Suddenly dark magic come out from my body and wrap her. If that something that God give to her then it will basically a <Holy Curse>. Just by it's name you can guess it has <Light> element as the base.

What more effective to counter <Light> is nothing else than <Dark>. So with kind of that way of thinking, I create a magic that has same effect like [Purification] but with <Dark> as the base.

To make it less suspicious, I name it as an Art to make people think it is a very rare magic. <Phantasm Art>, sounds promising and good after all.

And that <Holy Curse> thing is just what I call to make it simple. I hope this went well.

Not long after that, like any other curse that purified. A trace of <Light> is come out from her body and vanished. With that my [Void Purification]'s effect come to end.

"How do you feel?" (Ray)

I ask her if anything wrong. She look at me as she doesn't believe it.

"I feel great. It feels like my curse has gone." (Lily)

I sigh and feel relieved. That's good there is nothing wrong. I am afraid that bad thing will happen.

"Oh yeah, one more thing." (Ray)

As I said that she tilt her head in confuse. I raise my hand to her

"<Transform Art> [Spell Vanisher]." (Ray)

After that, the shackle and chain release from her. What I remove is [Slave Contract] that has been casted to her.

Once again, she doesn't believe her eyes. Not long from that she look at me, grab my hand and took it on her c.h.e.s.t. I can see her tears fall off.

"Thank you for releasing me from my suffering. From now on I, Lily will always by your side no matter what happen." (Lily)

Yeah, with this I have someone who put her trust on me. I know it's a bit cruel to take advantage of this situation. But, I will not survive if I am alone.

Have someone who put her trust on me will become a great advantage. I finally found someone who can share this secret of me without any worries of leak.

Well, that's good. But somehow I feel familiar with this. I feel I have see something like this many times. Well...Whatever, because from now on I have to train Lily to become a promising companion to me.
