Ajamu just woke up to find himself standing in front of a great vail with a lot of blinding light that would have burned his eyes if the vail was removed, but he didn't panic he stood there arranging his thoughts and memories and once done he heard a voice.

??: " Hello there young one it seems that you finally are done with arranging your thoughts and memories so would you like for me to start telling you why you are here besides being dead of course"

Ajamu with a collected and curious attitude replies:" yes please as far as my knowledge goes I died after taking the strike saving my king so is this where humans are judged after death?"

??:" oh you are very calm despite the situation and for your question answer it's yes and no, yes this is a place that souls come to after death but this isn't the place they are judged you are here because I have an offer for you if you are interested to hear it of course if not you can take that gate on your right to get sent to the judging area where it will be decided where you will go heaven or hell abut you will probably go to heaven with your record"

Ajamu thinks for a second and two then asks: " does me hearing it makes me have to accept it or hearing about will result in the option to crouse this gate to be no longer available and I know it's late but can I ask who is speaking to me I have an assumption but I would like to hear you "

?? with an amused smile that the MC can't see. ?? answers:" hearing my offer out won't remove the option to go through the gate and for my name is you can call me Lucis and for who I am that is answered when you here my offer "

Ajamu take a second then replies: " okay I will hear you out"

Lusis:" good then I will start with this " then he waves his hand and the area around Ajamu changes to space with galaxy looking orbs in it " what you see here are worlds not planets not galaxies despite looking like one but these are different worlds with different people culture and lifestyles your world is one of them it's one of the worlds that I am responsible for managing and looking after it that includes protecting it but not from internal fights or wars but it's destruction as long as the world isn't destroyed then my work is done the right way, do you get this part or should I explain more "

Ajamu with a collected but surprised and amazed look on his face replies: " to think that we who just lived on one planet and haven't even seen space that there is even beyond that that is really incredible I get what you explained please continue "

Lusis: " you are one of the best I talked to you intelligence and attitude is really remarkable for a human but yet again that is why I choose to give you this offer anyways now back to the subject you see I have great powers and someone that takes his job seriously and believe that working smart is better than working hard that is why I decided to delegate work to talented, responsible individuals to help decreases the pressure and allow me to work on the responsibilities that no one can do but me, and one of those responsible is worlds defense, each one of this worlds face dangers one internal and one external the internal ones I deal with the external one includes invading armies from another world, World devourer monster, world destroyers monster there is more but those are most common and as you can see I manage a lot of worlds and while I can make clones and defend more then one world at a time there comes times where and monster so strong the I have to deal with with full strength comes up and I have to recall all the clones and that leaves my worlds undefended and open for assault and I can't have that so I decided to recruit talented, responsible individuals and grant them power to defend the worlds when I am not available and I would like to extend this offer to you"

Ajamu take time to process all that he had heard and after it asks: " so you are asking me to become a Guardian or a Protector to the worlds for you but why would I do that I mean it's a good cause and everything but I have fought wars and just died because of it why should I go fight another"

Lusis: "oh, of course, I didn't explain the responsibilities and the benefits of the job yet, see this isn't fighting wars all the time till you die again this more like a job that when needed you are called to deal with the situation then is free to do what you want that means with the power I will be giving you, you will get the power to travel through the world and enjoy your life and when a situation arises you are summoned to handle it and then sent to the same time you left the world you were in, so what do you think? Ajamu's face shows a thinking look then after a while answers .....
