And of course, this would be very possible since he was in a disguise and would no longer be protected, by Horus or by the four circles of power, unless he purposely asked for it. But he wasn't foolish enough to do that.

The reason he planned on becoming a Mercenary, was because the Vampire Ancestor Lucian had explained well enough for him to know that if he were to become a mercenary, things would become less troublesome in most areas.

While Tobi had no idea how being a mercenary was going to be like, he was mȧturėd enough to know that things wouldn't be that easy for him. Mercenaries who broke order were one of the most headache-inducing issues for security officials.

After lodging in an inn, Tobi decided it was finally time to go to the Mercenary Guild, as he walked Tobi's interest was really piqued regarding the Mercenary Guild.

From the constant clatters and its signboard posted outside, he was able to immediately locate it, their only requirement was that one was skilled and strong.

Of course, this wasn't too hard. For he had spent close to seven years training with Horus none stop, he could easily use a few varieties of weapons proficiently and had a certain amount of experience in using both Magical spells couple with his enhanced physique as a hybrid awakened, he could easily be certified as a rank 3 Warlock.

Behind the Mercenary Guild were a few bigshots. Without their support both on the surface and in the shadows, it would have had no chance to spread within various cities. Since warriors were the most common Profession amongst other professions, becoming one did not require much talent.

"Is this Mister's first time here?" The moment Tobi walked inside, he was immediately attended to by a female receptionist, who looked at him with a puzzled expression.

In comparison to most of the Mercenary she had seen or met, this person in front of her could be said to be rare, his build and attitude were in contrast compared to those so-called braggarts, noisy and bulky Mercenaries.

"Yes, and I would also like to apply for a combat test."

Though the distance to the academy could be breached with a teleportation circle, Horus naturally wouldn't do that.

Since it was in accordance with every Pride Dracula rulebook, to train outside which would, in turn, gain more experience. Even if he wanted to directly teleport to the academy it was nigh impossible, since the teleportation node to the academy was hidden in a magically enchanted pocket world, which not even the Sovereigns or Horus could locate.

"Please come with me." The receptionist brought Tobi to the second hall of the guild. There were many little rings here and there, within most of the Mercenaries which could be spotted either training, practicing their new techniques, or participating in a fighting tournament. While they used wooden swords, people still got injured.

At every moment, a judge that had been waiting at the side would ring a bell signaling the end of a match.

"Please register first. May I also know the profession and rank you would like to take for the test?"

The receptionist looked at Tobi's figure for a moment and then his blue charming eyes within the hood, before explaining to him the system of the guild enthusiastically.

"Our tests here are conducted based on various types of professions, strengths, and skills. Since there are cases of Mercenaries, who are more skilled in a particular profession than of the same power level.

"And those who are more adept as melee range fighters, such as the knights and warriors. While the others like long-range fighters such as sorcerer and Archers, you'll also need to fight against a similarly-rank or two lower-ranked opponents for a period of time to be able to pass the test, and in some cases, there are often casualties…"

"Thank you," Tobi said, as he came to where a counter was and filled in his forge personal details on a form.

"Okay. Your name is Listless_Flob, you're 18, and you want to take the test for a 2nd level rank 2 warrior?" Sitting at the counter was an old man. He lifted his monocle and looked at Tobi, who was at the front corner.

(Author note: The Ancient Vampire, Holy humans, Lycanthrope, and witches share the same ranking system except the normal human world. In the four circles of power, their cultivation rank starts from Rank 1, 2, 3 - Rank4{Twilight}, Rank 5{Radiant Moon}, Rank 6{Breaking Dawn Primal} and such. While the normal human highest cultivation ranking system is roughly comparable to Rank 3. It starts from the lowest possible stages within the rank, from 1st level Rank 1 to 9th level Rank 1, the same thing goes for rank 2 and 3).

"Young man, even though I bȧrėly know who you are, I would still advise you to don't try and push yourself too far. A 2nd level Rank 2 warrior can already use their qi, and some have even grasped battle techniques. You could maybe try the 1st level rank 7th or 8th …"

"What? You're choosing the 2nd level Rank 2 test?" The receptionist's fair skin and childish face, impressed her look of astonishment, her sharp immature voice caused the surrounding people to pay attention to what was happening.

"Are you sure? You heard all that I said previously?" The receptionist looked at him awkwardly wondering how she met such a craze person.
