Chapter 61 - Urara-a 2

"Huff, huff… So I'm finally going to die?" Urara-a thought as he chuckled, if anything about his current condition would go by, was the fact that what his eyes could make sense of was only a blur, whereas his body felt credibly numb, weak, and sluggish.

Urara-a tried to ignore the tiredness his body felt and stand up straight, while his hands tried to clenched the broad sword tightly, but that made him realize his limbs couldn't feel any sensation, his muscles had no strength to support his plea.

"Becker, I promise your mother I wouldn't let anyone harm you, but I failed your mother, and I failed you as a father. Papa is coming to keep you guys company."

Emotionalism slowly overwhelmed him, as he slowly reminisces on The various memories of his life, finally, the faces of two women appeared on his mind both looked familiar, except one was the older version and of the younger one.

Urara-a slowly closed his eyes, as he waited for the ogres' guard hammer to smash him like the wrath of the gods, he could already imagine the scene and what would happen the moment the black hammer landed on him, the outcome would either being mashed like a potato or pumpkin, even more, a watermelon.

However, after waiting for a few moments he realized something amiss the expected scene of his bone being broken to pieces neither occurred nor being mashed into a potato or a pumpkin.

He slowly opened his groggy eyes, to realize the huge black hammer had frozen still mid-air, while Bral the two-headed ogre's expression was filled with bewilderment, fear, and shock.

*How is it possible* Bral blurted out in his stupor and struggle, the lack of air kept him hyperventilating as he stared at his body in bewilderment.

Even the shock from not being able to kill the male human 'Demon Beast', wasn't as shocking as watching his head depart from his body.

"What's going on?" Urara-a slowly realized what was amiss, his brain could bȧrėly process what was happening at this moment, as he felt his body slowly floated by itself involuntarily.

A strange person that he couldn't make sense of his expression, seemed to had grabbed hold of his arm and was flying speedily, the winds that struck his face were so strong that he could feel a subtle pain.

Below him, were the enraged howls of the ogres, as well as a few several spells of fireballs or lightning arrows Tobi had weaved together.

'What going on?' For someone who had gone through numerous battles, Urara-a was very observant, at this moment he felt a tinge of hope.

With a flight spell, Tobi's speed on land was almost comparable, to him on air. A few ogres could be spotted trying to leap towards him while swinging their weapons, Tobi had to evade constantly since he couldn't fight properly with him carrying the human mercenary, besides that his use of flight spell wasn't perfect and there was a chance the human mercenary might even fall and die.

The moment Tobi descend upon the earth, Urara-a felt his head spin with the sudden landing, he could only crumple himself on the ground, the smell of the soil and fresh grass made him take in several mouthfuls of fresh air.

It was only after his mind had calmed down to a certain degree that he could muster up some energy to thank the strange person that had saved his life.

"En?" Urara-a noticed something and gazed intently at the sky, as someone had obviously been save he would practically want to thank his savior, but Urara-a saw nothing except a blur that had quickly disappeared.

"Leave this ogres-filled area, there is a town nearby!" He raised his head, as a voice echoed in his ears.

It was obviously Tobi, who had help him. For the first time in over seven years, he had suddenly remembered the time he had spent with his father as a kid, due to the fact of him being a hybrid awakened he literally overheard what Urara-a had said.

Instinctively, he didn't want the same situation to repeat itself again, in his stupor he felt anger and rage slowly seething within him.

Within his pupils, a faint gold halo could bȧrėly be seen, whereas in his mental world the reflection of a shadow filled with bloodlust slowly rose from the azure pool water.

However, realizing what Horus had said about the Ancient race bloodline Egos, Tobi steel himself up and sealed all the emotions that were rising up within him.

'Worst-case scenario if I let my feelings eat me up, I am definitely screwed. That guy certainly wouldn't miss such an opportunity or let it slip away. Getting myself worked up over a measly human is not allowed, time to man up and follow the plan, there is also the academy.'

Tobi suddenly crashed in the middle of ogres who immediately surrounded him.

*Demon beast, surrender now. Otherwise, you would be courting death* Gil'takka voice could be heard from afar.

By watching his plan slowly crept toward success, he was overjoyed except for the fact that the moron Bral had obviously thought of stealing his prey and ended up dead.

Gil'takka talked with confidence, previously he had communicated with the Oracle which it promised to restrict the balance of the demon beast.

'Did the elemental world energy, just vibrate?' Tobi thought to himself, however, he wasn't worried. Even though he probably couldn't cast a flight spell, a Hybrid Awakened greatest forth were their speed, control of elemental mana, senses, and strength.

'Even if I'm unable to use high-tier spells, taking care of a bunch of ogres should be bȧrėly difficult than squashing bugs..' Tobi watched the ogres trying to hit him, yet all they did was clumsily hit his blurry shadows.
