Dawn Of Twilight

Chapter 60 - Urara-a

The human mercenaries could almost see the appearance of different ogres guards coming like they were demon kings and death gods, while the rest of the ordinary ogres seemed to had become fanatics as they began to pursue and kill the other mercenaries, with disregard for their lives.

With the sudden appearance of the four ogres guard, the human mercenaries were immediately put on the edge, the casualties immediately piled up. Only a few successfully manage to slid through the chaotic crowd, which was also by a harsh cost as they fled.

'The ogres' guards have the territorial advantage since this is practically their home, and are also physically superior compared to the ordinary ogres, again there is still a shaman on their side.'

'Instead, I don't understand why the shaman isn't fighting yet, but rather the ogres' guards and soldiers. The shaman is technically supposed to be the leading force, even without the appearance of shaman just a single guard had thrown the human mercenaries into disarray.' Tobi thought to himself, as he analyzed.

'With fewer witnesses messing up with my plans, I guess I can finally move my muscles for a moment.'

Tobi became a gust of wind, that quickly vanish amidst the appearance of the ogres' guards. The moment he reappeared again, he could see two ogres leaping towards him while swinging their clubs, only to look down and stare at a pair of blue halo eyes in front of them.

A smile slowly crept up his face as he stared at the ogres, within his spiritual mental world the constant noise of a water droplet hitting something fell into an azure pool water whirlpool, together with two bean-sized crystals.

'Pretty good. Even if I can probably make a legion of ogres as my pawns, it will still be a waste of time since I am going to the academy.'Tobi thought to himself.

This was actually one of the few vampire abilities he could use, even as an awakened hybrid, this was probably the second time he had used mental energy control since the first time was actually back at his village when he was being beaten up by a bunch of villages kids.

Even though he could also use spells, in killing the ogres he wanted less attention on himself while being low-key.

Meanwhile, in front of the human mercenaries mostly towards the center of the battlefield, Urara-a and Bral the two headed-ogres could be spotted fighting fiercely.

Urara-a was now a bloody figure, no matter how hard he fought with the ogres' guard he could only defend off some of the attacks, due to the lack of world energy in the humid environment he couldn't heal himself, which resulted in him sustaining numerous wounds on his body together with a huge wound on his thɨġh.

With the constant clash with ogre guard, his limbs had become numb to the point he could only limp continuously, without being able to stand on his heels, while the broad sword on his hands could only be used as a momentary crutch.

Beside him, the two headed-ogres Bral was a bit dumbfounded before exploding in euphoria, Bral eyes stared at the male human in front of him as he smiled before ŀɨċkɨnġ his crooked lips. By watching the male human fight him for so long, coupled with the fact that he had even sustained injuries at the process, even though it was a minor one since with the blessings of their Oracle any large injuries sustained would be healed by it.

Bral had slowly come to a sudden realization, that the male human in front of him is the actual demon beast the ogres chief leader Gil'takka had been talking about, Bral snorted when he thought about the chief leader Gil'takka, he could already smell the sweet scent of the demon beast fresh juicy blood and flesh in his mouth.

'That old fool Gil'takka would be surprised after I kill the demon beast and then evolve to a magical beast, I bet he doesn't know this yet. After killing the Demon beast I will finally take over the tribe, and lead the ogres to conquer the humans.'

Bral kept on hyperventilating as he thought to this point, in any other circumstances he would have rested for a moment to probably heal himself after being exhausted and together he had a high Mana consumption preciously.

Sounds of cheers could be heard coming from the nearby ogres that were slowly surrounding the last human Urara-a, some were cheering loudly for Bral while the others were chanting the name of Bral.

Urara-a could only stagger backward in fear, as Bral the two-headed-ogres approach him. He guesses apart from him the rest of the mercenaries had been probably killed off.

Bral raised one of his hands, probably what would be signaling the rest of the ogres to not come any further. His eyes had the look of coldness, aloofness, and also victory.

The two headed-ogres looked at the pitiful male human 'Demon Beast in front of him, as he analyzed that except the male human 'Demon Beast' gets ȧssisted or something unforeseen happens today he would be the new ogres' chief leader, that would practically be after he had evolved.

"Huff, huff… So I'm finally going to die?" Urara-a thought as he chuckled, if anything about his current condition would go by, was the fact that what his eyes could make sense of was only a blur, whereas his body felt credibly numb, weak, and sluggish.

Urara-a tried to ignore the tiredness his body felt and stand up straight, while his hands tried to clenched the broad sword tightly, but that made him realize his limbs couldn't feel any sensation, his muscles had no strength to support his plea.
