t the moment, they were passing through the depth of the wilderness, there were long patches of a narrow sand storm moving around. After taking notes of secured areas around, the black steel knight had stopped to let them roam.

After the previous incident a week ago, the battle results with the tyrant Noah had made him quite popular, among the twilight children.

Especially the scene of him pinning down Noah to the ground had become a special topic and a nightmare to the twilight children.

When Noah returned to the carriage, he had immediately hidden himself in the carriage, hardly letting himself be seen by Tobi.

Elijah said as he extended the invitation towards Tobi, with the situation now coming to such an extent, they knew there was no going back. Out of the four alliances one or two, if not more might not survive the siege from a group of vicious wolves, since it wasn't a trifling matter.

Their only saving Grace was the black knight overseeing each alliance, even with that one or two children might still die from a sneak attack.

Elijah and Matthew were worried and bothered, one could tell they were deeply afraid since no one knew what awaited them. Or how dangerous and heated a battle might be, in terms of the experience they had none to zero.

They were once again afraid of death since they now had too much to lose. The brothers doubted they could even withstand just one vicious wolf in a battle. What were the odds of finding another friend like Tobi, who was much more like a brother to them?

Hence, all they could do was to grit their teeth and endure.

He could see the pairs of brothers standing right in front of him.

"Tobi, are you okay?" Elijah asked, concerned for his friend. Since he noticed Tobi was beginning to look paler by the second.

Matthew bent down, making him within an eye level of Tobi, he placed his palm above his forehead to examine his temperature.

"Brother, he is so cold. Tobi might become sick?" Matthew who seldom talks spoke at this moment he found Tobi's behavior quite odd.

"Of course, am fine." Forced a smile that slowly crept up his lips, with his blood urge increasing by the second, he knew it was only a matter of time before he lost control of himself, but at least not to his only friends he had.

He didn't know what the outcome would be, once he lost his last bit of sense. But he knew there would be a massacre, it might even be the reason, why twilight children go crazy was the lack of blood.

It was deep in the night, the sky was filled with numerous starlight, its silver hue veiled over the ground.

Inside the camp, a group of twilight children sat together like siblings, circling the campfire as they laughed and messed around. It appeared lively, compared to when they had first taken by the black knights.

"Come, Tobi, let me introduce the both of you. This Lucas part of our alliance."

All through the introduction, Tobi neither talked much nor shake hands, because he couldn't hear a single word they were saying. 

Their necks which sponsor their voice, and their hands which they held out, were too mesmerizing. He could almost drool, every time they offered their hands out to him.

Elijah strode to the center, while Matthew was responsible for looking after Tobi.

"Okay, everyone sorry to bother you all. But I need your attention please."

The surrounding crowd all stopped what they were doing, and shifted their gazes to the center.

"First, of all. I would like to welcome our vice leader Tobi." Elijah announced in a loud voice and clapped.

An intense clapping could be heard, as it resonated in the surrounding.

Tobi got up and nodded a greeting towards everyone.

"Okay!" Elijah waved his hand, stopping the applauds as he continued."The respected black knights decided to set up this small alliance, to guarantee that every single one of us safely reaches our destination.

Elijah's expression was serious, with his voice solemn even though he knew. He was lying, he had no choice as he lied through his lips.

As a result, the surrounding became a bit pale, as everyone seemed to recall the past with different expressions. With Elijah's shocking news they were easily agitated by it, everyone had various thoughts but they all seemed to agree on one thing "Freedom.

Meanwhile, only Elijah's small voice echoed in the air as he continued.

"We are nearly out of the Great desert of Desert, this is our last journey and also the most dangerous one.

"With the protection of the black steel knights, we'll definitely be safe. But still, they want us to show our worth, to guarantee and show them we can easily pass through this dangerous stage.
