The warmth of Lu Xiang's c.h.e.s.t send a blissful happiness to XiaoAi's heart. The kiss planted on her lips elevated her to a whole new level but soon enough everything went back to normal as Lu Xiang pushed her away, XiaoAi instinctively looked into his eyes and the next few words that came out of his mouth indicated that her true nightmare was yet to begin. In a cold tone Lu Xiang said to XiaoAi," Don't misunderstand, this is just my repayment for what happened last night, this does not mean I have forgiven you and just to remind you don't think that you are truly my wife....for me you are just a toy which I will throw away when I am bored with it".

Not knowing what to say XiaoAi stood their silently until Lu Xiang broke the silence once again as he said," Get dressed...everyone outside wants to meet you and don't you do anything that would embarrass me and you because for others you are my wife".

Holding back her tears as each and every word that her new husband or 'owner' said repeated in XiaoAi's mind she replied in an emotionless tone," I understand ".

After taking a quick shower XiaoAi came out of the bathroom in a robe while patting her hair dry.

XiaoAi saw a beautiful dress neatly folded at the edge of the bed. The blue colored dress had butterflies on it and it was an off shoulder dress.

She carefully applied her make up....XiaoAi was not really fond of make up but her natural beauty could even make an angel look down in embarrassment and anyone who saw her would feel as if they had the p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e to come across a goddess.

XiaoAi only applied the basic make up and that also in a decent amount neither applying too much nor too less. The lip gloss made her rosy lips shinier than they usually were. She left her long black hair opened as it complimented with her dress more.

With a click sound the bedroom door opened and the nicely dressed newlywed came inside the room to escort his wife to meet her new subordinates. As XiaoAi heard someone entering the room she instinctively turned and stood up from the chair in front of the dressing table while trying to wear her glass earrings.

Seeing the breath taking beauty Lu Xiang was dumbstruck but soon came back to his senses. He smartly avoided her gaze and said in the same usual distant manner," If you are ready let's get going....", after a small pause he continued " everyone is waiting...not everyone has so much free time like you and don't forget what I told you this morning".

Hearing what Lu Xiang said XiaoAi could not help but only give her gentle and loving smile to him.

She said in a cute voice as her cheeks turned a slight shade of pink, " I know that vary well but how should I address you.....I cannot keep calling you by your full name".

Hearing this question Lu Xiang swiftly turned his face as to hide the blush on his face but still his sweet young wife could make out from his sudden action what he intended to do.

He said in a slightly embarrassed voice" Call me whatever you want"... XiaoAi without allowing her cute husband to continue asked him in a teasing manner as she walked towards him " Hmm.....so should I call you 'laogong' or 'XiaoXiang' or maybe 'Xiang ge' .....what do you think?".

Not able to take her sudden advances Lu Xiang thought back to his past memories with her in an attempt to compose himself as she drew near to him, he roughly grabbed her waist with his left hand which left XiaoAi dumbstruck.

As she was about to say something Lu Xiang tugged her hair behind her ear with his right hand and said with the most cruel tone the three simple words that sent an intense pain to XiaoAi's heart.

He with his cruel, distant and icy manner with a devious smile said " Don't go ahead of yourself and fly so high ...you might get hurt badly when I pull you down to the ground".
