Dragon Sorcerer In One Piece

Chapter 30 - King of the Underworld

The ship David obtained from Drug Peclo is known as Lion's Pride, a double mass, double decks galleon with a figurehead of a lion head. The ship is not as big as Dreadnaught Sabre, Don Kreg's flagship but still requires 100 screw members to sail the ship and is formidable as it is arm to the teeth with 46 cannons and 3 mortars.

Because Drug Peclo used this ship as his flagship and headquarters for his operations for the underworld, the ship is disguised as an independent merchant ship. As impressive as the ship is, the most important part is the constant within Lion's Pride. The ship holds a large amount of information, records and network related to the world of the underworld.

When David reappeared from the shadow, he realized that he was standing on the large ship with a flag of a blue ship in the ocean. This meant that the ship is an independent merchant ship with no ties to any country or trade companies, but this also means the owner of the ship has to pay heavy taxes once a year to maintain the independent merchant license from the World Government. As he looked around, David saw multiple Ninja Khans sailing the ship and others working together to move items around the ship to reorganize.

'They just go on auto-control don't they. I just gave them an order to sail the ship and all of them are doing their parts without any delay. I didn't even know they could navigate the sea, I guess Ninja Khans are versatile and jack of all trades compared to other Khans.'

Finishing his thoughts, David went to the Captain's quarter to seek information regarding the Emperors of the Underworld. The captain's quarter is a large room with a back window view, a large wooden table with maps and navigation tools laying around. The room also has a small room that acts as a living quarter for the captain. David found various collections of weapons, medicines, clothes and drinks but finally, he found what he was looking for, a list of a network of underworld operations, other emperors' regular ship route or safe houses, etc.

"Well, well, well. Looks like Drug Peclo spied on other emperors. He even has information on current lists of customers and even contacts lists of all four Yonko. I'm surprised that he has such a well-organized filing system." After going over the files for an hour, David got the basics of how Drug Peclo's and other emperors' organizations operated. Taking a break, David opened the shop system to buy a new bed, pillows, and other stuff to replace old ones and ordered a few Ninja Khans to clean and redecorate the rooms around the ship.

As David came out of the captain's quarter, he realized that it was getting late as the sun was about set. "I could go for some food, I spent a lot of energy today after all those fighting." He thought and then, two Ninja Khans appeared from the shadows with a tray full of cooked steak, steamed vegetables and bottles of ale. "How did they know I was hungry? Did they prepare the food because they knew I would be hungry later?" David didn't expect them to have food ready so he was surprised at first but accepted the tray to eat and went to the table at the upper deck to enjoy the view of the sea.

'I guess I can take a day or two to organize and relax before moving into the second part of the plan. Oh yea, I need to send some funds to Dragon since I can't send what I have from Mary Geoise. He will get suspicious how I manage to obtain the funds without making any noise in the world.' David thought as he finished his meal and saw the sun go down beyond the sea. A few minutes later, David stood up from his chair and stretched his body, "I guess I could start by stealing a heavenly tribute from the underworld and use that as an excuse to give away my stash. I just hope it's normal money and treasure, not something weird stuff."

5 Weeks Later,

Somewhere in the Paradise, Grand Line,

Five very powerful and influential people were sitting around the table and discussing the problems they face. They are:

God of Fortune Du Feld, also known as Loan Shark King.

Big News Morgans, the President of the World Economy News Papers.

"Deep Ocean Current" Umit, the Master of Shipping and Transportation.

The Concealer Giberson, the King of the Warehouse and man who can obtain anything.

And

Stussy, Queen of the P.l.e.a.s.u.r.e District, the Empress of the Underworld and secret agent of the CP0.

For the past few weeks, someone stole their heavenly tributes from their secret ship routes and left nothing but the ship's crew in the lifeboat. This is a serious situation for them as they didn't want the wrath of World Nobles and ended up getting the attention of the Navy. Ruling the underworld is dangerous enough but now without paying the tributes, their way of life will get much more difficult.

"I told you, I send our tributes in our usual secret routes like other times. There is no way pirates or outsiders would know of this. I have a reputation to hold for God's sake." Umit spoke with a mix of anger in his voice. It was his responsibility to transport the treasures to the World Noble using the Clam Belt route using a ship layered with sea stone. The ship was his most treasured possession as he paid a fortune to obtain a copy of the blueprint from the Navy he had a connection with. Now it is lost to whoever stole the tribute including his ship without a trace.

"I know Umit, ever since I learned about this I search every contact I have to find the person responsible but so far I got nothing. It wasn't pirates, some thieves or one of the Yonko." Morgans informed others what he learned, if anyone can obtain the information it would be him thanks to his massive network of reporters and informants under him. As concerned as Morgans were, he was more interested in who is responsible to attack them.

"Forget your stupid reputation, we still need to send heavenly tributes and I don't know if I can collect enough in time." Du Feld huffs cigar from his mouth as he spoke bitterly. He had to pull every string he had with wealthy nobles and people he loaned it to gather second heavenly tributes. For him, money wasn't the issue as the problem was collecting them from various places in time.

"Losing the heavenly tributes isn't the only problem. My warehouses were also robbed a few days ago as I was storing the other goods (Artifacts, rare arts, and other expensive items)." Giberson nursed his cup as he expressed his concerns, it was rare for him to not hold a bottle of expensive alcohol as he was just holding a single cup in his hand.

While everyone was talking and showing great expression of multiple emotions one person remained silent. Stussy, who is a secret agent of the CP0 wasn't concerned about heavenly tributes or getting hunted by the Navy. Sure, she lost her portion of the treasures but it didn't hurt her cover as she is also a victim of this robbery. 'Still, who would have done this? It wasn't a Navy or Cipher Pol agency since I would have been informed. Also, where is that lion idiot? He is late.' Stussy thought and then she had a realization.

Quickly Stussy asked everyone at the table, "Gentlemen, did Drug Peclo also send his portion of the heavenly tributes?"

When the rest of the group heard Stussy's question, Giberson pulled out his ledger and searched the record. "Yes he did, he was the first one to send his portion. He didn't come in person but he did send it to my warehouse in full." Giberson said as he finished his drink and closed his ledger.

As Stussy showed confusion and uncertainty, someone spoke as he or she approached the table from the dark. "Well, actually, it wasn't Drug Peclo. It was me who sent the treasure using his name." A young man around 18 to 19 with a built body and emerald eyes came with a small smile. He was wearing a white suit with a gold tie, white shoes and holding a large bottle of expensive wine in his hand.

"Who the hell are you?" Immediately, Du Feld demands to know who this young man is as he signals his bodyguards to apprehend the young man. Before Du Feld's men could do anything, all of them were taken down by the multiple large shadow figures with dark claws for hands. "What the hell?" Everyone panicked as they stood up from their chair but somehow by an unknown force, all five were forced to sit down as their bodyguards were taken down by the shadow figures.

"Please don't stand up. As for who I'm, my name is David Kastner, but you can call me Hades, The King of the Underworld."
