The next morning, Jin was in his school uniform and went to the first floor to have breakfast. He managed to wake up on his own today without Issei waking him up or feeling the softness on his side that woke him up from sleep.

Once he was on the first floor, he was greeted by three girls preparing breakfast, to his surprise.

"Ah, Jin. Good morning." Irina noticed him first and greeted him cheerfully. "We made breakfast already!"

"G-Good morning, Nii-san." Asia greeted him shyly next. She was still a bit nervous around him for some reason.

"Morning, Hyoudou Jin. I am truly sorry for yesterday. I have lost my cool." Xenovia was next, and she apologized for some reason.

"After thinking things through, I realized that my action could lead to something terrible. That devil insulted my sword last night, and that made me angry. Once again, thanks for stopping me."

Looking at her apologizing honestly like that made Jin reconsider his view toward her. He originally thought of Xenovia as a bull-headed girl who wouldn't take reasons from others. Turned out she was just a bit shy and lagged behind. Sheltered maybe the correct word.

He smiled a little.

"It's fine. Just remember to keep that cool later when we meet them again. I will ask Kiba why he did that, insulting your sword, later when I meet him, okay?"

"Please do. I am still confused even at this point." She nodded, smiling faintly.

The awkward atmosphere was gone between them. Jin was glad that he managed to solve one problem that plagued his mind before they met Rias, Sona, and their peerages.

If Xenovia somehow hated the Devils, then the talk with the Devils' group later wouldn't be able to advance.

'And I will need to advance my plan on taking her.' He added in his mind. 'I still have one cow brand left that I haven't used. I plan to use it on Rias, but maybe using it on Xenovia to avoid trouble and waiting to use it for Rias in my next level-up is good too. But thankfully, I am able to avoid that with this.'

Asia tilted her head, confused. That girl should just stay pure like that.

"Asia, can I trouble you calling Issei? We need to eat and go to school shortly." He said.

"A-Ah, yes. I will call for Issei-san right now." She nodded, walking past him, and went to the second floor.

Jin turned to Irina, who prepared the meal on the table, and asked. "You girls will visit Kuoh Academy after school, no?"

"That's our plan." Xenovia answered.

"Un, that's correct."

"I see." Jin nodded. "I will tell the Devils about it. As you know, my position in the Supernatural World is neutral. So you can count on me."

"I know, Jin." Irina looked at him with a big smile. "I am really glad you didn't join the Devil's side! That boy from last night also looked afraid of you, so I can trust you!"

'Ha…hahaha. Kiba only looked like that because he knew that Rias dated me.'

That was the truth, but Irina and Xenovia didn't need to know about that.

Jin went to the school with Issei after having breakfast with the girls.

Issei went straight to the class, but Jin made a stop in the student council room first. He wanted to tell Sona and ask something about Kiba. He knew he could just ask Rias, but his relationship with Rias was… not too close right now. He didn't make her his personal cow yet.

Sona already knew his power, so she was the perfect person to get information from. Besides, he wanted to tell her a secret that she never knew about his power.

Arriving in front of the student council room, Jin noticed that all of Sona's peerage members were inside. That, and added with someone unknown.

That someone had a similar Demonic Energy to the rest of her peerage, so he guessed that Sona must've gained another member with her remaining Evil Pieces after she gave up with him.

If he remembered correctly, she still had 1 Knight, 1 Rook, and 7 pawns left. Whatever it was, he was glad that Sona's strength had increased. He knocked on the door three times, and a voice answered from inside.

"Who is it?"

The voice belonged to Tsubaki. Jin immediately replied, "It's me. I want to talk to Sona."

"Oh!" An exclamation came from inside, and Tsubaki opened the door immediately. "It's Jin-kun. Welcome." She greeted him with a friendly smile as she was already familiar with Jin's visit.

"Huh?" A voice belonging to a boy rang inside the room. "W-What is Hyoudou doing in this place?" He freaked out and pointed at Jin.

From his position, Jin couldn't see who that person was. But once Tsubaki stepped to the side and surveyed the room, he managed to see the voice's owner. The others only smiled at him.

The blue-haired girl looked at him with a small smile. The twin-tailed girl with reddish-brown hair waved at him. While both of Sona's bishops, a girl with hair tied in two braids, and a silver-haired girl nodded at him.

He focused his gaze on the only boy he wasn't familiar with in the room.

"Who are you?" Jin asked, looking back at him.

"Huh? I am Saji Genshirou! Kaichou's pawn!"

"Ah…" Jin let out an understanding voice and nodded. "Good work." He began to ignore him and walked toward Sona, who looked at him with a smile. "Sona, I need to talk about som–"

Unexpectedly, though, his shoulder was grabbed before he could get close to Sona and finish his sentence. He turned around, a bit pissed, and saw Saji with an angry face glaring at him.

"Don't ignore me! What are you doing in this place?"

"Isn't it clear?" Jin replied in a lower tone. "I am here to talk to Sona."

"You! Call her Kaichou or Senpai! Who do you think you are to cal–"

"Saji!" Sona's booming voice rang and stopped Saji. "Release him, or I will punish you. Right now."

"But, Kaichou!"

"Right now!" Sona repeated, making Saji back down immediately. "And he's my fiance, so he has the right to call me by name."

At that information, Saji's face turned to horror. The white-haired girl approached him and patted his shoulder, consoling him. Jin was somehow satisfied that this boy finally knew his position.

Unexpected to himself, it seemed like he was really possessive of his girl.

"All of you, can you please leave us for a moment?" Sona continued, and her peerage members nodded.

"Yes, Kaichou," Tsubaki replied. "Alright, girls. Let's give them some time. After not meeting for a week or so, they must've had an important talk." She winked at Sona, giving her some space.

Sona's face flushed red. Tsubaki didn't know that she had snuck out to meet Jin just yesterday.

Saji was partially dragged by Hakanai Momo and Kusaka Reya, Sona's bishop, while still looking heartbroken. Poor boy, he had no chance from the start.

"So, Jin-kun. I believe there is an emergency. Seeing you meet me when we have scheduled a meeting with the church's emissary after school."

"Yeah." Jin nodded. "Tell me about Kiba and his past. Does he have any relation with the Excalibur fragment or Holy Swords in general?" He asked.

She narrowed her eyes at his question. "Did he make any trouble?"

"I am afraid so." He shrugged his shoulders. "Can you tell me? Or at least, can you ask Rias to tell me before the meeting with the church's emissary?"

"That… is a bit difficult. We have a rather similar problem in our end. You see, I have called all my peerage members because of something. It is also related to Rias. But I should've guessed this coming."

"Hmm?" Jin listened attentively.

"Since last night…" Sona looked at Jin seriously. "Kiba Yuuto has been missing."
