Kiba Yuuto was missing.

Jin didn't expect that but was expecting that at the same time. Sitting on the couch, he leaned his back and looked at the ceiling with a tired gaze.

"Why did they always choose a foolish decision like this?" He sighed, murmuring to himself.

With her excellent hearing, Sona was able to hear him. "They aren't perfect. People say humans are the most imperfect creation of God; well, they aren't wrong. But in this world, Devils are the most imperfect creature that ever existed."

"Because Devils are the embodiment of sins?" Jin asked, glancing at her. She nodded with a small smile, to which he replied with a small scoff.

"I am too tired of this. Can you tell me why Kiba is so fixated on Holy Swords? That gaze full of hate isn't normal at all. There must be something behind it."

"There is indeed something," Sona replied, making Jin narrow his eyes. "And it's indeed related to Holy Swords, especially Excalibur."

"As expected." He replied with a smirk. "So? What's he doing in the past with that Excalibur that made him hate the sword as if it was his mortal enemy?"

"He's…"

Sona started to explain to Jin what had happened to Kiba. It was all something she had heard from Rias, and she didn't go into details. She also didn't really know about the details, only the surface area of what had happened.

Firstly, she told him about how Kiba was an orphan. Kiba Yuuto wasn't even his real name, but Sona didn't know his previous name either because Rias kept it a secret. Sona mentioned Rias Gremory's peerage members all had problematic pasts, which made Jin grimace when he heard her explanation.

He already knew about Koneko, as Kuroka told him already. But all of them? That meant it included even Akeno. Jin really wanted to know whether his decision to target Rias was correct.

Sona assured him it was fine, as most of them had already come to a conclusion about their past, which apparently not yet. Seeing how Kiba disappeared the morning after he came into a meeting with one of the Excalibur fragments.

Her story didn't end yet. She continued into the most important part. It was about the church, or someone from the church, doing secret inhuman experiments.

Many orphans were gathered in one place, trained, and tortured. Torture, not in a literal meaning, but they experienced something similar to torture in that place. Bad food, bad clothing, and a strict regimen.

Day after day, the children gathered would be subjected to inhuman experiments. The people who conducted the experiment tried to make them fit to wield Excalibur. But they couldn't handle it any longer. The children perished one by one, and the project was deemed a failure.

The remaining subjects were to be disposed of. The detail was unknown, she added.

"All of that is to make them a Holy Sword wielder, namely Holy Sword Project," Sona concluded. "And Kiba is the sole survivor of that project."

"That explains everything," Jin commented. "If he's the survivor of an inhuman project, then I can understand where his hatred came from. More so after all his comrades were massacred."

"Indeed." She nodded. "That's why his disappearance causes worry to Rias and me. I planned to have my peerage find him, but you arrived before that."

"Hmm…" He hummed.

Jin understood. From that information, he could somehow guess Kiba's movement. Combined with his Senjutsu, he would be able to trace the blonde boy. If he wasn't wrong, then…

"Cease that effort, Sona. Kiba will return after school if what I guessed is right. If not, then I will help you to find him."

"So we indeed have the same thought." Sona grinned. "I know he will return on his own today after I heard what happened last night from you."

"As expected from you, Sona." He grinned back. "While we are at it, do you feel something different with your body?"

"Something different?" She asked. "Come to think of it… What did you do to me!" She screamed, pointing her finger at Jin. "I can feel something around the school! Thanks to that, I was about to faint when I met with my sister!"

'So it worked?' Jin thought, chuckling at Sona's accusation.

From her words, he found out that his skills were successfully shared. And thankfully, she didn't try anything funny yet.

It was just a day after that passed. Knowing that she could use Senjutsu just fine was enough. It would be a bit troublesome if she somehow panicked and used the Power of Destruction in front of her sister.

Jin believed that Sona's sister was overprotective. He knew she would do anything to keep Sona's secret and keep her away from harm. At best, maybe she would give him a visit and ask him to explain everything.

"Don't tell me… you really did something?" Sona narrowed her eyes, looking straight at Jin.

"I did," Jin answered truthfully. "Remember yesterday? When you happily drink my semen." He smirked playfully as Sona's face flushed red, remembering what they did yesterday.

"D-Don't mention that! I… I was really embarrassed by how I acted after I calmed down!"

"You were so cute back then." He said. "Anyway, I shared my skill with you as you drank my semen. I can still use it just fine, but you are now able to regenerate like a Phenex family, use a Power of Destruction, and even Senjutsu."

Sona's mouth flapped open after Jin dropped the bomb. She froze with her mouth open; Heck, she didn't even realize her glasses slipped from her ear and was about to fall.

"Jin to Sona." Jin approached Sona and waved his hand in front of her face. "Hello? Are you there?"

"Hah!?" She gasped. "C-Can you repeat it again?" She asked, fixing her glasses.

"Sure." He nodded. "You are now able to regenerate like a Phenex family, use a Power of Destruction, and even Senjutsu. How is it? Good, right? You are stronger than Rias now."

"I see…" She nodded, but Jin noticed her body trembled. Whether it was from excitement or fear, he didn't know. "I… see… I-I will do my best to keep it a secret." She said.

"I know I can count on you, Sona." He smiled happily.

In the hallway, Sona's peerage members walked away from the student council room, following Tsubaki. They didn't really mind too much about being chased out because it wasn't the first time Sona had done it.

But, one of them was still confused and couldn't understand it.

"Fuku-Kaichou…" The only man in Sona's peerage called out to Tsubaki, which made her turn around.

"Yes, Saji-kun?"

"Kaichou said Hyoudou is her fiance, is it true?" He asked. His lips trembled, frustrated.

Saji Genshirou was a boy with passion. He happily accepted Sona's offer to be her pawn because he had longed for her. He was in love with her.

"That's true."

Tsubaki's answer only broke his heart further.

"Hyoudou Jin is a wonderful man. You will like him when you know him further."

"… I see." Saji replied, clearly dispirited.

"S-Saji-kun." A girl with a twin-tailed brown girl called out to him. She was Nimura Ruruko, the only pawn in the peerage beside Saji. "P-Please cheer up!" She said, raising her fist.

Looking at her made Saji smile a little. "Yeah…" He said. "That's right!"

For some reason, there was determination in his eyes. "You're correct. I need to cheer up. Thank you, Nimura-san!"

"Yes." Ruruko smiled.

'Hyoudou Jin!' He called out a name in his mind. 'I will prove that I am the man who's better suited for Kaichou! As long as they haven't married yet, then I still have the chance! We are rivals from now on!'

"My, it seems he has decided on something." Tsubaki muttered as he looked at Saji. Turning around, she continued in a low voice. "I am a bit sad for him."
