When Fu Shen glanced at the Quantum Computer closely, he saw that its large size was more or less the same as a two storey house he wondered how much power does it actually need, then followed the professor.

Once Fu Shen was provided with his new ID and credentials then he was given a laptop, tablet and mobile device. After that the Security Department had arranged an orientation for him which includes some rules and guidelines that he has to follow. After which, he was endorsed to the Human Resources Department regarding some contracts and doc.u.ments that he needs to sign which indicated the compensation and benefits he would receive during his stay, all of which were extremely generous, so to say.

Next he was directed to report to some departments and familiarize himself with their operations and responsibilities, his work is mainly providing insight and assistance in the technical aspect of the project and he will be directly reporting to almost every head of each department.

He found that the official name of the whole project was "ARCANA" which means mystery or riddle, it was dubbed by the founding scientists of the project as a step to the unknown. When they found the planet they called "Gaea"

His first stop was the Neural Quantum Department which monitors and maintains the Artificial intelligence of Alternate Realm Chronicles. From there he learned that "Titiana" was short for Tactical Interface for Technological Intelligence Analysis and Neural Analytics.

Within the "Titiana" AI system were multiple independent AI units that provide "players" assistance. First off is the AI System that maintains the game system interface, quests, collation of discoveries and notifications called "Prometheus", its task would allow ease of access for users, scientists, support team and the game masters. In order to avoid the AI "Prometheus" from causing interference with the game experience, it only has limited functions.

The next AI unit is called "Othrys", this AI unit handles the manufacture of Avatars for players use and connection with all Crystal cores to individual users, This too has limited functions.

The last AI is "Olympus". this AI unit handles the Pantheons which oversees the guidance, mental well being and safety of the Players Avatars. Although it has limited functions, the individual units it sends out are the advance AI units that has sentience.

The main reason that Titiana was supported by multiple AI units was to avoid a"Singularity Event"

The next department was the Metallurgy department that works on the "Gate" and collects coming from the other side and processes these for possible usage and utilization.

The Genetics and Biotechnology department is another department that handles research on genes, avatars, including medical and biological research for the planet. They have two main areas for operation, one on Earth and the other eere scattered all throughout the Elkadi Empire.

The Arkhives department handles research on general knowledge and magic related information for the planet they dubbed as "Gaea". Their current goals include mapping the planet, understanding how it could sustain magic, identifying cultures of different races and their language.

There were a few other departments that Fu Shen was not yet familiar with, however, he might drop by at a later time when his clearance level increases, even with his current access, there are still areas which are off limits to him.

After all the site orientation, he was then transferred to a lodging area where there were three other employees that would he would be staying with. The room was composed of a small living room area with television and refrigerator, a restroom and shower area and bedroom with four beds.

He greeted his fellow room mates who were engineers as well and then retreated to his bed, the beds were capsule like that provides the user privacy. When he checked his tablet, he found that there were no charging ports, it seemed that it runs using wireless charging too like all the other mobile devices in the site.

As soon as he opened the tablet, he was greeted by the company logo and after that appeared a digital avatar of a woman which spoke.

"Nice to meet you Fu Shen, my name is Titiana, I am the core AI of the site which will be both monitoring your progress and living condition. Should you have any questions, feel free to just call out your personal AI assistant."

After that he was directed to an application that would allow him to create an Avatar and name it. He thought to just make the avatar look like her young daughter as he took the picture oit and had it uploaded on the tablet, after which the tablet rendered it digitally. He named it Qin-er as well.

He did a little bit of browsing for the current progress of the site project on he internal network and found out that it also has forums which includes information aboit the site departments different project goals and directions.

He checked the engineering section for the IFDVR calpsule and found that there were already different models and versions aside from the one being sold commercially.

The latest version was a slightly larger capsule which has additional add-ons like liquid oxygen and nutrients. It indicated that the user will be strengthened by this solution in accordance to the users ability and progress in "Gaea".

A bit later, he stumbled on a new processor called the GAIA chip which he belkeves closely resembles the processor of Zhang Shan's capsule. From there he also found that Zhang Shan was one of the selected recipients with the most impressive project progresd and an anomaly due to him arriving to "Gaea" in mental or "spiritual" form.

Although these scientists rarely believe in spirits or souls, currently this anomaly was the first of its kind and without the proper term for it, they settled for these words.

When he found out that Zhang Shan's name has a hyperlink, he clicked on it and was lead to a full detailed list about him.

He was also reportedly been caught by police with some gang members that has ties with 14k+ Triad but was released after identifying that he was actually a victim of their extortion. Officially proclaimed dead, but alive in "Gaia", current whereabouts are unknown. Killed by the "Royal One" but later on was found to be his current Avatar.

When Fu Shen saw this, he was a bit surprised, he didn't exactly expected Zhang Shan to be someone important and at the same time he saw a familiar name which also has a hyperlink that he clicked on.

Fu Shen was stunned and amazed with the report and details of the three and wondered what really happened after Zhang Shan "died". It seems that they have been keeping tabs on him since the beginning but did not expect things to turn out the way it is.

Fu Shen recalled stories before in fiction novels that he read about transmigration and this was was definitely similar to that. As he checked, the three were on priority list for contact and retrieval orders for the Pantheons.

Thinking about this he believed that the professor knows he would stumble upon this sooner or later and just didn't want to divulge more, just to surprise him. He thought of asking him further in the future.

After that he checked on the information regarding the current projects that he may need to take part on in the future. When he tried to check on it, it indicated that one needs to learn a few things about the current research that the Arkhive has done so that they can create devices that could complement the technology they have on the other side.

It seems that the science we know of here on earth doesn't function in "Gaea" as they tried to send small devices before and it didn't work or even turn on at all when they're in "Gaea", after which the researchers wore their avatars, they found that the magical particles all around them is causing interference in these devices, as such, using the knowledge that they learned from there, they tried to reinvent the telephone.

They designed and created a device called the "bridge" and "decoder" which can communicate with the devices that we have here on earth using neural signals and a similar device is also used in "Gaia" which is called the "crystal jade tranceiver", which does the same thing. Almost all equipments including the servers require to pass through these devices, it technically work like a telephone dial-up, albeit much faster with the help of the quantum computers.

He enrolled to the classes of these "Gaea Technology", which can be viewed through videos in order to understand and design devices that could help him further understand how and what to design in the future, looking at all the pre-requisite classes and supplemental classes, he thought he'll definitely be busy for the next few days.

Aside from these videos, he was also instructed to move and select any of the public IFDVR capsules in the site for first hand experience on "Gaea" technology, he would respawn in one of the pantheons site instead of the begginers area and he can then proceed with learning.

Days later, Fu Shen's avatar can be found in the game at "Sylvannas Pantheon" trying out genes, spells and other stuff that he needs to familiarize with, in order to get a better insight of how these things work, there was a God in the Pantheon who was always guiding him to the learning process.

The "Pantheon" have a building that looks like one of those temples in the greek culture, mostly designed by the researchers and the architects involved in the project to present a different view to the native Sylvannians and instill a show of fear and respect. This "Pantheon" was located a few miles south of the Kinhdom of Sylvannas.

As he was taking a break, he heard a woman crying at the back, slumped in one of the stone benches.

As he looked he saw a familiar face. It was Titiana, except this one doesn't have a red skin.

He remembered thag unlike players and support team such as him, the Gods and Godesses have a specific engineered gene slate that ensures they are always created in the same image to accommodate their tasks.

"H-hello there, excuse me... may I know if you need help?" Fu Shen asked.

The woman stopped crying and said "S-sorry about that, I didn't mean to *sniff* disturb you."

"May I ask why you're crying here?" he continued to ask

Fu Shen was curious as these Gods and Goddesses were normally proud and haughty during the last few days he was visiting here, but this was the first time he saw one that cried.

"It's nothing much really, I just feel sad about how Ravia keeps on bullying me and always says that I'm not the real Titiana..." she answered

"Oh, you mean the loli with the big breats?"... "I see, in that case, wouldn't you just try to name yourself something different instead, that way, she won't bully you anymore?" He said after thinking for a while.

She was silent for a while and then said "You're right, I'll call myself.... Vitiana instead!"

When Fu Shen heard this, he thought how silly her naming sense was, just moving the first letter a bit further in the alphabet. But thinking about it, it does makes sense since she was made after Titiana her predecessor.

He nodded and said with a smile "Nice to meet you Vitiana, I'm Fu Shen, one of the engineers and a researcher."

"Nice too meet you too! .. what are you trying to learn?" Vitiana asked with curiosity

"I'm trying to learn a bit about magic and fighting right now using these magical equipments." He replied.

"Wow! thats good! I can help you with that you know." She said.

"Really, that would be a big help!... can you teach me about how to summon this few things called water orbs from my hands?" he asked further.

Vitiana then shook her head in disagreement as she said.

"That's boring... here let me teach you something more advance..." after which she stood up and then tens of water orbs floated around her appearing out of nowhere

"See this is more better... it's called micro control..."
