Enigma: Being Chased By A Sly Ghost Husband

Shin Ryujin has dreamed of herself working in a high-rise buildings at the age of twenty seven. Sometimes due to overworking, Ryujin imagined herself to be annoyed. At the end of the day, Ryujin pictured herself to have grilled meat and drinks with her colleagues. A boyfriend to comfort her because of the stress was also what Ryujin hoped for. 

However, here she was, at the age of twenty seven, unemployed and boyfriendless, drinking soju and eating grilled pork belly with her best friend, Min Aera.

Ryujin's eyes glared at the ID card that hung around Aera's neck, and she voiced out, "So jealous!"

A red blush coloured her cheeks as Ryujin poured herself another glass of soju. Ryujin's black hair was tied into a ponytail, and her bangs were scattered all across her face. 

Closing her eyes, Jung Ryujin drank down another glass of soju, and after placing down the glass on top of the table, Ryujin's eyes fell upon the diamond ring on Aera's finger. 

"Really, really envious," Ryujin vocalized. 

Before Ryujin could pour herself another glass, Aera held her hand in order to stop her. Raising her head, Ryujin looked at Aera. 

Unlike her, Aera was a beauty, and most of her actions in public were conducted with grace. She had light brown hair that fell on her back, and one glance from her was capable of getting many men fall for her. Dressed equally elegantly, Aera was one of the popular girls in their neighborhood. 

"Stop it now, Ryujin-ah. You have drunk enough already," Min Aera voiced out, "Any more and you might lose consciousness at here." 

"Good looks, good income, good boyfriend! Wow! I am really jealous of you. Why can't I have any one of them? Just one of them," Ryujin vocalized whilst tears formed at the corner of her eyes. 

"Ryujin, should I introduce you to more blind dates?" Aera asked. 

Aera then added, "I know couple of people who are single, and I can try introducing you to them. They are all well accomplished, rich, and good looking." 

Recalling how the past blind dates– which were recommended by Aera– turned out to be, Shin Ryujin immediately shook her head and moved her hands around randomly in front of her. 

"No, I don't need those blind dates. You know how all of them turn into fails." 

Shin Ryujin sighed and laid her head down on the table. Most of the males in the blind dates are Aera's admirer and end up asking multiple questions on her. Even if they do not like Aera, they still end up rejecting her. 

Raising her head up, Ryujin stared at Aera with pleading eyes and voiced out, "Aera-ah, if you can, please recommend to one job, a decent job." 

Shin Ryujin had failed her thirtieth interview today. Probably her grades were not that good compared to other interviewees or maybe her university was not that prestigious; However, Ryujin found it unfair to be compared on that basis. 

Her seventeen year old self was too carefree to worry about grades, and it was not her fault that she was not rich enough to attend a prestigious university. 

Ryujin laughed and vocalized, "Alright, alright, stop looking at me this way. A friend of mine is one of the directors at AJI, and they are accepting interns. You can try out there." 

"Thank you, Aera-ah! You're the best!" Ryujin exclaimed whilst doing a heart with her finger. 

Ryujin voiced out, "But I can help you with the first round only, so about the second round, you have to do it on your own."

A groan left Ryujin's mouth.
