What startled her was not the fact that he run away; it was rather how he managed to escape her grip.

Shin Ryujin was sure that she had gripped his wrist or at least had tried to do so. But it appeared as if his hand had passed through her hand.

As strange as it might seem, Ryujin felt as if she had gripped into the thin air when she had in fact grabbed on to his hand. By her own eyes, she was able to confirm this.

Looking at her hand which was clenched into a fist, she shook her head and let out a chuckle before saying, "What nonsense are you thinlinga again, Shin Ryujin? How could that even be possible in reality?

You must have seen it wrong from all that lack of sleep and tiredness. Too bad, that person had run away, but it seems that he will not be annoying me for the rest of the time. That seems good enough."

Letting out a yawn, Shin Ryujin stretched her arms and walked out of that dark place. As she walked on the road, she maintained her vigilance for she did not d.e.s.i.r.e to get hit once again.

Ahn Jaein, who was almost caught by Shin Ryujin, hid behind a wall and had his eyes widened. Ryujin's senses were too sharp, and he was close to getting caught by her this time around. It seemed that he required to be more careful in the future.

The fun would have to decrease if she had grown aware of his presence.

Earlier today, he had seen how panicked she had become due to the prank he had pulled upon her, and he wanted to see a similar expression upon her features. Thinking of that made him feel energized.

"Aera-ah, I am home!" Ryujin exclaimed once she stepped into her apartment.

She closed the door behind her before walking further into her apartment, and that's when, she had heard the sound of Aera's footsteps. A small smile formed upon her features at that.

"Ryujin-ah, you are finally back! I have lots of things to tell you about!" Aera cheerfully vocalised, and on her face was a face mask.

There was a thought within Shin Ryujin to inform Aera about all that had occurred today. But she erased that thought the instant it had entered into her mind.

Aera was already too worried when it came to bed, and Ryujin did not d.e.s.i.r.e to add more on to Aera's place. Moreover, she knew that how protective Aera was of her, and thinking about all that Aera will be doing after she learned of this got chills down her back.

Other than that, Shin Ryujin considered herself to be at an age where she will be able to handle this on her own. Ryujin was strong after all.

"What's with that expression on your face?" Aera questioned before adding, "It's the expression you see on the kid's face when they steal something."

Letting out a chuckle, Ryujin winked at her and said, "You are really perceptive, Aera. This is because I plan to steal your heart."
