"So there were no signs of breaking in and you searched everywhere in that apartment? You are sure that nobody followed after you?" the police officer questioned.

Shin Ryujin nodded.

Her face was starting to regain its colour. After the incident from earlier had happened, Ryujin panicked and called for the police instantly. She had informed them on everything that happened to her over this period of time.

"Someone had been following you for around a week too, right? Do you have any clue on who might be behind it?" the police officer questioned.

Mustering up her courage, Ryujin voiced out, "No, there is no one like that."

Shin Ryujin found herself being more panicked than she had originally expected herself to be, and the incident today left a nauseating feeling within her. Finding herself this shaken up over it made her surprised, but there was nothing she could do about it.

"This is going to be difficult. There is no CCTV cameras around your apartment or your workplace. It would be for the best if you stay indoors for the time being. Do you have somewhere else to stay at?" the police officer voiced out.

Before Shin Ryujin was able to respond, she distinctly heard a pair of footsteps, and soon enough, she was engulfed into a warm hug.

Judging from the scent, Ryujin could guess who it was, and comfort spread through her as she gripped on to the material of Aera's clothing. Now that Aera was here, Ryujin felt more secure.

As Ryujin's breathing started to get heavier, Aera extended her hand towards her and patted her back softly. That calmed Ryujin down considerably.

"It's alright, Ryujin-ah; it's alright. You will be all fine now. I am here now. I won't let anything happen to you," Aera vocalised.

Pulling away from Aera, Ryujin raised her head slightly and stared the girl. A small smile formed on her face while the relief she felt was shown upon her eyes.

That's when, a sharp pain went through her head, and a gasp escaped from her mouth. Ryujin's eyes widened while her face showed the pain she was in. She tightly clutched on to Aera's clothing.

A frown formed on Aera's face as she questioned, "What's wrong, Ryujin?"

"It hurts, Aera; my head hurts," Ryujin vocalised, clenching her eyes close tightly.

Min Aera's eyes dilated for a second after that before she put on a softer expression and spoke out, "Hold on for a second. I will take you out of here, alright?"

Ryujin silently hugged Aera again.

Min Aera turned to look at the police officer before she reached her hand into her coat's pocket and took out a card.

Placing the card on the police officer's desk, she vocalised, "Contact me later on with this. I will be going out with her since she is not feeling well."

The Police officer picked up the card from the table and said, "Wait! You can't leave— nevermind, you can go. Have a pleasant day."

The contents of the card caught the Police Officer by surprise, and he stared at Min Aera. Without sparing a glance to the Police Officer, Aera bent down to support Ryujin.
