Enigma: Being Chased By A Sly Ghost Husband

Chapter 45 - Create trouble [3]

Without wasting a second further, she made her way over to the place where she first met the fortune teller. As expected, the male followed after her, interested in how the things will be unfolding.

Distress showed on her face after she had roamed around the place and was unable to find any signs of that fortune teller.

Pursing her lips into a thin line, she searched around carefully and even asked the people around about the stall. But there were no signs of it after her meticulous efforts, and no one seemed to have a clue on it.

Having things turn this way was really frustrating for her!

Right now, she did not even know how to deal with the things.

She wanted to meet another fortune teller but, instantly, brushed away the thought of that. Already she had wasted enough time and money on it. If this continued, she would have to eat dirt for next new months.

She didn't even have a proper job and place to stay at in the first place!

"How does it feel to fail?" he questioned— amus.e.m.e.nt could be shown in his expression.

He placed his hand over her shoulder, and through the material, she was able to feel the pressure caused due to his touch.

Creases formed between both of her eyebrows while a scoff escaped from her mouth, and raising her leg, she was ready to kick the man only to find out that her leg passed through him as she did the motion.

Moving away from the man, she extended both of her hands towards him and said, "You! I literally want to kill you, Ahn Jaein! You annoying bastard!"

He chuckled and questioned, "And?"

"You are enjoying this, right? Fine! Have as much as fun as you can! But I will prove that you will not be able to create any trouble for me!"

Determination was visible in those eyes of hers.

'Wasn't he just a little ghost with no memories? It isn't a big deal for me to handle someone like him.'

"That sounds like fun," he commented.

"I am sure that you will be finding it more fun once I am done with you, Jaein," she confidently vocalised.

Only when few voices reached into her ear she realized that she was in middle of the busy street, and due to other's inability to see Jaein, it seemed as if she was talking to herself.

"What is that lady doing?"

"Don't look at her! She is crazy!"

Both of her cheeks flushed due to how embarrassed she was, and after directing a glare towards the male, she ran forward. He must have won this round, but there was no way she was allowing him to stay victorious always.

Definitely there was a way to deal with him.
