The door in front of Ahn Jaein opened, and raising his line of sight, Jaein stared at the direction of the room. Seeing a doctor and nurse step in, Jaein stood up and walked closer to them in order to ask them his questions.

"Hello! Can you tell me who I am and why I am here?" Ahn Jaein questioned

However, the doctors ignored him and walked past him. A frown formed upon Jaein's face as he noticed the doctor and nurse going over to the body that looked similar to him.

As the doctors examined the body, Jaein decided to try again and voiced out, "Hello! Can you help me out?"

Neither did any one of them three turn back nor did they respond to him. Feeling annoyed by how they were treating him like thin air, Ahn Jaein raised his hand and poked on one of the doctor's shoulders.

The doctor turned back.

"Finally," Jaein mumbled.

"What do you need?" The doctor questioned while staring at the nurse.

Before Jaein could reply, the nurse said, "Nothing, Doctor Kim."

"It's me; I need your help," Jaein vocalised.

Furrowing his eyebrows, the doctor stared at the nurse sternly and voiced out, "If you don't need me, then don't poke my shoulder. This is no place to joke around; This is a serious matter."

"I didn't poke your shoulder, Doctor Kim," The Nurse expressed.

"Yeah, she did not. It's me; I poked your shoulder," Ahn Jaein voiced out. Desperation could be seen in his eyes.

Doctor Kim scoffed and asked, "So do you think I am lying in such a situation?"

Shaking her head frantically, the Nurse bowed and apologized, "No, Doctor Kim. It's all my fault. Please forgive me."

Without bothering to say anything to the Nurse,

Doctor Kim turn back to Ahn Jaein's body and checked the readings on the screen. Creases appeared on his forehead when he noticed them. Ahn Jaein's heartbeat rate was fast currently, and Doctor Kim decided to do a test to check the reason behind it.

Giving up on the doctor, Ahn Jaein decided to try the nurse. Standing in front of the nurse, Jaein moved his hand around and said, "At least you wouldn't ignore me—"

Before Jaein could continue, his eyes widened as he noticed someone. Her eyes— there was no reflection of him in her eyes. There was the doctor, the bed, the machines, and the body in her eyes; However, there was no him.

"T-This can't be happening! T-This definitely had to be some kind of bad dream! I am definitely having a nightmare," Jaein vocalised.

Running towards the door, Jaein turned the knob to open the door and ran out frantically. Anxiety and desperation could be seen on his face. This dream— He had to wake up from it fast; He absolutely did not like this dream!

Hearing the door suddenly open, Doctor Kim turned back, and his eyes showed how much annoyed he felt. Doctor Kim asked, "Who opened the door!?"

The Nurse bowed and said, "I don't know, Doctor Kim. I'll go and close the door."

As Doctor Kim let out a sigh, the Nurse scurried towards the door, and nervousness sat on her face as she did so.

Doctor Kim mumbled, "Why is everyone here so irresponsible?"

Ahn Jaein ran through the hospital's hallway— his footsteps making loud sound. The hospital was rushing at this moment, and other noises masked the noises of him running.

Spotting a cleaning lady, Ahn Jaein stepped towards her and asked, "You can see me, right, Ahjumma?"

Hope sat in Ahn Jaein's eyes as he stared upon the woman, and as the woman raised her line of sight, a smile almost formed on Ahn Jaein's face. However, noticing how he was not reflected in her eyes, Jaein took a step back. His eyes widened as he was overcome by shock.

"Doctor Min!" The Cleaning Lady called.

Holding his head, Ahn Jaein ran away. This can not be the case; Jaein can not accept this. There had to be someone's eyes he will be reflected at— at least one person.

Noticing a man, Jaein ran closer him and held his clothed shoulder. His hands did not pass through the man, and Jaein shook his shoulders. As the man turned towards Jaein, he noticed that he wasn't in the man's eyes either.

"Why am I feeling as if someone is holding me?" The man mumbled.

Ahn Jaein loosened his grip on that men and continued to run. Jaein had no destination inside his mind; He just want to keep running until he wakes up from this nightmare.

The wounds on Shin Ryujin's arms were bandaged, and she was relieved that there were no fractures. However, her heels were broken, which made Ryujin despondent. The heels cost quite a lot of money, and currently, she wouldn't be able to afford another pair.

As she stepped out of the room, the mother and the girl walked out as well. Turning towards her, the mother and child pair bowed.

"Once again, I am sorry, Miss," The mother said, "It is all my daughter's fault."

Ryujin shook her head, and forcing out an awkward smile, Ryujin said, "No, it's alright. I'll be leaving then. Bye."

The mother nodded.

Without turning back, Shin Ryujin walked at the hallway as the mother and daughter pair was staring at her back. Although Ryujin had broken off the heels for her other one, walking with such shoes were difficult for her.

Ryujin stood at one corner and placed her hand on her stomach. She needed to go the washroom, and looking around, Ryujin searched for the washroom.

"Ahjumma must have given me an expired bread again."

Ryujin sighed.
