His name is Benjamin Williams. A second year student going to Itsumo High.

He just happily left the bank after depositing another sack of money he got from blackmailing some rich brat who happened to be smoking in the school. In exchange for his allowance this month, he decided to keep this little... tidbit from anyone else.

Easy money, like always.

It's always been easy to get this type of information since people stopped noticing him. They always say his name wrong and they ignore him like he's not even there! With the exception of his parents, who sees him and interact with him without any problem, no one else acknowledges that he exist.

Benjamin was really young when he first discovered his curse and it put him on the brink of despair. But soon, he learned to cope with his abnormal state and abused his pain to profit from it.

He loved seeing people's surprised and/or horrified face when Benjamin showed them photos of them doing things that they weren't supposed to. How they begged! Hahaha, he loved that!

Yeah… people tend to say he's rotten to the core before they proceed to immediately forget about Benjamin's very existence including what he just did to them.

... It's convenient, but also very annoying to hear them say the same thing again and again.

"Don't worry, I'll be at the meeting on time. I promise you we won't fail this time." Spoke a classily dressed business man with deep blue eyes and... Is that a suitcase?

What's this? All of a sudden, Benjamin's blackmail material senses are tingling! This man is definitely emitting a suspicious aura! This could be another chance to rake in some profit! He have to see where this goes!

Benjamin followed the strange man while occasionally jotting down notes in his little black book of secrets. His routine so far is simple. Around 15:30 he's drinking coffee at a dinky cafe somewhere in the plaza, and at 17:30 he's eating outside a McDonald's and still hasn't notice Benjamin… good.

He don't want this to end up like the infamous 2 girls incident. Jesus f.u.c.k, that still creeps him out even though it happened ages ago. That poor cup...

Suddenly, the man reaches deep into his pocket before pulling out his phone to answer a call.

This could be it. Benjamin has been sitting out here watching from the outside for the past twenty minutes and the weather decided that today was the day it was gonna put a curse on him too because it was getting f.u.c.k.i.n.g cold so if it wasn't, Benjamin was just gonna go "accidentally" steal that briefcase and leave.

"Hey Jonas, what is it I'm in the middle of… He's getting closer to my location?! I-Impossible! The spell can only wear off at the meeting point! He isn't supposed to see me yet!" The guy shouts into his phone, panicking like there's no tomorrow.

Wait Spells? As in magical Spells? Did I really just hear it from this guy? Who looks to be over his twenties, shout in public that he's using a magic spell? Either this was some super good blackmail material or he wasn't a businessman at all. F.u.c.k, this is such bullshi-

Suddenly the atmosphere begins to weigh down on Benjamin and slowly a thick, oppressive fog reminiscent of an old crime drama begins creeping into the surroundings, obscuring his vision as he frantically shove the black book in his pocket. Ever so slowly, a black shadow appears in the center of the fog, walking slowly towards his location seemingly without a care in the world.

Benjamin can't tell much through the fog, but as the man gets closer him, he can tell that even without the fog he'd only be able to get a hint of a mask under his trench coat...

And the huge knife he held in his hands.

"F.u.c.k! Verge: Hector!" The man exclaims, jumping up from his table and knocking away a half eaten burger before he suddenly gains green clothes while his body is covered in a silvery armor. Space seemingly warps around him as a silver lance ends up in his hands before he points it at the knock-off horror villain who was surprisingly scary to see in real life.

"Hm, it appears I was right… there is a strange presence following this Verge." Mused the mask man, his voice accented with a deep and intimidating tone.

"So you're the Mythos that appeared in this past weeks. I am Matthew from the Mythos Comp-" The former businessman, Matthew, begins. Only to soon be held up by his collar as the... Mythos? Is that what he's called?

No wait, this might just be a delusion brought about from those cookies Benjamin's mother sent him last week. Wouldn't be the first time it happened. One time he even thought that hell-spawn of a cat could talk.

"SILENCE!!!" The figure interrupts, his voice booming across the fog as he drops the man on the ground. "I wasn't talking with the likes of your pathetic self; I was talking with the boy."

...Shit, of course Serial Killer Halloween wannabe could see through his curse. A series of conflicting remnants of emotion begin stirring through Benjamin. On one hand, some one can see through it, while on the other hand, it just happens to be the creepy guy with a huge f.u.c.k.i.n.g knife.

"Stop talking nonsense! I'm the only one in your barrier!" F.u.c.k this Matthew guy is starting to get annoying. Benjamin's just going to call him Whiny Faker from now on and be done with it, he already stalked the f.u.c.ker for hours.

"Hahaha! A fool will always be a fool! However, with your declaration my doubts are answered!" He says cheerfully "Boy! I sense you there, but I my eyes don't seem to be able to spot you! You must wait a little longer while I deal with our... uninvited guest."

A chill runs down Benjamin's spine.

For the first time since he got his curse did he feel scared again. This... thing could spot Benjamin even with his curse. He hadn't felt so overpowered by himself since the day he burnt all of his emotions away, and he knew, deep down inside him, that even if he ran, the man would find him.

Benjamin took back what he said about the wannabe Horror Villain. This guy had nailed it too f.u.c.k.i.n.g much!

Somehow, the fog began to thicken, but instead of obscuring his vision, Benjamin just feel like he's lose sight of both men as he began to shiver from the cold.

The silence seemed to last for a lifetime before a bloodied scream cuts through it all as sharp as a razor's edge. The fog rolled away leaving the man who just moments ago had the confidence of champions, a pitiful corpse leaking blood from his mouth; staining the world with his very presence. Stripped away of all that power, he just seemed to be another businessman who had the unfortunate chance to have his life cut short.

"Wh-What the hell?!" Benjamin shouted, recoiling back away from the scene.

"Fitting for a dog's death is it not?" The man's voice, now deeply burned into his mind, mused from behind Benjamin. As fast as lightning he whipped around to find the man, mask on, staring at him. The smell of copper was in the air as now that he were close to the man, he could finally see a deep red overcoat that the man wore, covering his whole body.

'To hide the blood.' A part of his mind whispers as Benjamin forced himself to look the man in the eye.

"It's a shame Hector had to be contracted to a fool like him." He continues, not even looking at the fool in question. "I had heard he was a good man back in my cell, word really got around there, but when the rest of those fools call, there was no refusing. Makes me wonder what they did to him, to keep him silent through the entirety of my little extermination."

He looks around a bit before he continues his little tirade, his words coming out like a hiss. "And where is he now?!"

A flicker of confusion crosses Benjamin's eyes which he seems to catch as the aura of anger he was emitting slowly disperse. "Ah, forgive me. I thought you were already acquainted with this side of the world by that presence concealment of yours but it appears that is not the case so I suppose I must introduce myself."

The words bring back a feeling of deja vu but Benjamin remain silent as the man gives him a slight bow.

"I am what you call a Mythos, the remnants of a person whose fame was so great that it was etched into the Earth itself. My name, as it happens to be, is Jacob but you may know me by one other name.."

Benjamin felt his hair stand up on their ends as what seems like the fog itself whispers the man's name into his ear.

"Jack the Ripper."

The name sends all the blood draining from his face. Of course Benjamin knew who he was. Jack the Ripper's infamy was spread throughout the globe and for one simple reason.

He. Was. Never. Caught.

Benjamin knew that one wrong move and he will most likely be dead and the world wouldn't even know who killed him. How long would it take for someone to find his corpse, he wondered. Days? Months? Years? Or maybe he'll finally find solace from his curse in death?

No matter the outcome Benjamin knew Jack the Ripper would get away free.

He tighten his fists, staring directly at the eye holes of Jack the Ripper's masks and gathering all the courage he could muster before speaking.

"I-If you wanted to kill me you'd have done that already," He began, stumbling on his words before he finally got into a groove. "You and I both know that. You wouldn't even have to try. I've played this song and dance before, and I know you want something from me. The only question is just what is it that you need from me."

"Clever boy now aren't you?" Benjamin can feel a grin forming from underneath Jack the Ripper's mask. "Well it's very simple. All I want... is a contract."

"…What." Benjamin asked in confusion, secretly letting out a breath he didn't even know he was holding.

"A contract between you and I." He goes on to explain. "Us Mythos need contracts to access our full potential. As it is now, I can only access what I've done in life. But with someone borrowing my power and my history... we can grow. Be grateful, most potential contractors I kill on the spot."

Of course Benjamin is f.u.c.k.i.n.g grateful!

He let out another breath, this time not even trying to hide it, before regaining his composure. "Alright. How do I sign this contract."

"It's easy really, just say that you accept me as part of you now and forever."

Benjamin raised an eyebrow at that last part.

"Oh did I not mention that?" Jack asks, though Benjamin knew at this point that he's teasing him. "Yes, if you accept this contract there's no going back to whatever life you had before. I will always be with you. Watching and even talking at all times."

Whatever.

If this is a choice in which there's no going back then Benjamin is going to make that choice himself this time.

"I, Benjamin Williams accepts you, Jack the Ripper, as part of me now and forever."

There was nothing special. At least, not on the outside. As the serial killer disappears he vanishes into fog that soon went into Benjamin's body. He couldn't describe the feeling, but all of a sudden he felt more... Powerful.

So of course the moment just had to be ruined because life likes f.u.c.k.i.n.g Benjamin in the a.s.s at all times.

"Quick! Matthew must be around here!" A young male voice shouts in a panic.

Shit! He totally forgot that Whiny Faker had friends! Dammit! He also had that briefcase as well, but it sounds like there's multiple people heading straight towards this direction and Benjamin's not sure if he remembers where he last left it with all the pants shitting terror that he went through him tonight!
