Well there's one thing Benjamin knew for sure, there's no way in hell that he's going to go up against Matthew's friends and survive without getting caught. Even though that he's now connected to an actual f.u.c.k.i.n.g horror movie villain, he don't know what these guys can do.

Well this doesn't matter, Benjamin's getting out of here ASAP…

Not empty handed of course, Benjamin didn't follow that f.u.c.ker for nothing. Even if it isn't some delicious blackmail material (the guy was dead anyways), he knows for sure that something important was in that briefcase, and that's a good enough excuse in his books.

"C'mon Patricia, he must be around here!" The voice from before shouts as Benjamin jumped to where he last saw that Whiny Faker's suitcase. Stepping on a half eaten burger, Benjamin frantically searched around in the fog for a bit before it clears up revealing the suitcase in all it's glory.

'The barrier's weakening.' Jack's voice echoes in Benjamin's head, startling him as he quickly grabbed the suitcase. 'We're going to need to get out of here fast. Concentrate on your hands, destroy the barrier, and f.u.c.k.i.n.g run like there's no tomorrow because there won't be if you get caught. '

Well if the serial killer says it's a good idea to run then he should probably follow it.

With a quick motion of his hand, Benjamin closed the barrier, letting the fog naturally dissipate as he broke off into a sprint down a random alley way. He don't know how long he was running but by the time he felt he were nearing his house, the sun had already begun to set and his breath was almost gone from his body.

Good, this should be far enough. Unless they could somehow see past his curse as well, they shouldn't be able to find Benjamin.

Wait that was actually a likely possibility now wasn't it? Shit.

Groaning, Benjamin tiredly walked down the empty street to a yellow with a bright yellow roof house before fumbling around with his jacket, bringing out the keys. It wasn't very special but it was his house, and it was the one thing besides his parents that hadn't forgotten him.

Benjamin stumbled into into the kitchen only to find a plate of spaghetti that had probably gone cold already and a note in fancy cursive.

[Hello Dear, we're sorry that we didn't warn you before but we're on another business trip for a week. As always Mr. Kanzaki did a half-assed job and now we're the one's who have to go and fix it… worst boss ever eh? Don't worry, we left enough money and food for the week so that you'll be able to survive provided you don't waste it all but we both know you're not like that right? Remember we love you and we'll miss you while you're gone.

Love,

Mom and Dad]

Benjamin let out a sigh as he placed the note back on the table, the suitcase already dropped to the floor as he took a seat and let out another sigh for good measure.

F.u.c.k.i.n.g Kanzaki. This is like the what? Fiftieth business trip this year? Benjamin lost count by this point.

"Hm, you're parents seem to be pretty nice." Jack comments, appearing in another seat in a burst of mist.

"Yep. Only people in the world who can see me without me having to do anything before hand as well." A slight smile comes to Benjamin's face as he thinks about them. "Just... don't let my mother into the kitchen."

"I see..." The serial killer mutters as Benjamin felt him nod in understanding. "Now, tell me about this Mr. Kanzaki."

The smile instantly fades.

"He's my parent's boss and one of the few testaments to the fact that God makes mistakes." Or he's just plain dead. Either way, the outcome is the same. "The man can't seem to do anything right and it's a f.u.c.k.i.n.g miracle he's reached his position without getting fired."

Probably has connections now that he think about it.

"It ever cross your mind to eliminate him?" Jack asks before he thinks on it for a moment. "No, blackmailing probably got more benefits than just plain eliminating him."

"More times then I can count." Benjamin admits with a shrug, "Problem is, I don't exactly know where he lives and I don't trust my hacking skills enough either."

"So it's like that eh?"

Benjamin gave another shrug at the man before he took a spaghetti from the fridge and heating it up for dinner. It wasn't long until he could begin scarfing down the meal like an animal, the events of the day having worn down his d.e.s.i.r.e to eat like a civilized person as Jack stares at him in amus.e.m.e.nt.

Finally, Benjamin lets out a satisfied burp before staring at the briefcase he stole from the w.h.i.n.er in front of a McDonald's, idly commenting on how ridiculous that sounded before he grabbed the briefcase and took it with him, carefully placing it on the table as he begin to examine it.

Shit, a four digit lock.

He can't spend all night on this, he still got school tomorrow and everyday was the chance to get more blackmail material.

He'd be surprised what people do in the morning when they think no one's around.

"May I suggest summoning one of my knives?" Jack asks from behind him. Benjamin didn't turn around to look as he begin to inspect just how the lock works.

Hm, seems like the only thing protecting it is this lock unless there's some magic mumbo jumbo on it.

"You mind telling me how to do that, O'wise one?"

"Easy there with the bark kid. Just simply concentrate your mind on the shape of a knife and it'll come to you."

Benjamin closed his eyes and focused with all his might just as Jack had told him. When the feeling of weight had finally arrived in his hand, his eyes burst open and with a swift motion he cut the lock, the briefcase bursting open revealing an assortment of papers.

For a while, all he can do is marvel at the red and black knife in his hands before Benjamin's eyes got drawn to the stack of doc.u.ments now sitting on his desk.

He carefully examined each and every one of them but he paused as an odd doc.u.ment passes by.

"Wait… what's this?" Benjamin blurted out loud, taking the paper away from the stack and examining it closely.

"Something wrong?" Jack inquires, leaning over his shoulder. It's a little uncomfortable but Benjamin ignored it in favor of the doc.u.ment in his hands.

"Not exactly. It's just that this doc.u.ment is particularly odd. It's about Kiharu Yomi, the CEO of D.Entertainment, the company behind the popular game Battle Infinitas."

"And?"

"That's exactly what I am talking about. Why's there a doc.u.ment talking about him in this suitcase?"

"Hm, pretty suspicious indeed. Anything else that stands out in there?"

He skimmed the doc.u.ment once more.

"Nope, just his information and where he was potted over the period of a few weeks." The other doc.u.ments proved to be no help at all, as most of them were speculation on Jack's whereabouts.

Ah, he better go to sleep soon now that he looked at everything. He have classes tomorrow after all...
