Fate's Game [GL]

Back to the open space where Emil leaned on a tree, to tend on his wound.

" 'pant'...crazy lady, finally got rid of her! I have to find Sasha now! But where is he? I can't contact him with the Walkie-talkie!"

Absorbed in his thoughts, he was sure he got rid of the Chameleon, but he was wrong.

She was always behind him, waiting with bloodshot eyes for him to completely relax and have her revenge, for what he did to her eyes.

Those sand grains burned like hell and there were still some stuck in her eyes. She had to wash them off before it gets infected, but there was no clear water source around, where she could quickly go and clean it off and her water flask was with that humming idiot.

"You little dog, I'll dissect you in pieces, starting with your must prideful piece!" With hate imbued voice she murmured under her breath, staring murderously at his crotch.

Somehow, Emil felt a cold feeling passing through his little buddy. He snapped back from his thoughts and his guts feeling told him to run. He believed his guts and back again was he rolling in the mud, into the shrubs.

Three throwing knives stuck to the tree, good that his guts warned him in time, but her sight impairment through the sand grains, played a big role in it too.

With her being agitated to this state only his death could calm her.

She stopped thinking rational and sprung at him like a wild cat and clawed at him with her nails. They were now, tossing around in the mud like a ball.

Emil being confused at this state just went with the flow and it... became a brawl, like the one between children, just more hurtful.

"You pig!" ,screamed Chameleon. "You almost blinded me!"

She grabbed his cheek to stretch it apart, her nails leaving scratch marks there. Her eyes were now closed completely, she couldn't endure the burning sensation anymore.

"You crazy chick!" Having pain coming from his left cheek and still being stretched. Emil lisped, "Whatcha tryin?!"

He gripped her hair from behind, to pull her away from him.

Chameleon screamed out of agony, having her scalp pulled up. She raised her knee up in retaliation and aimed for his family jewels.

A sharp pain traveled up from his jewels, Emil s.u.c.k.e.d in a breath and kept it in. He wished he could shout out loud, but other than pain filled whimpers nothing else escaped his thin lips.

That was a vicious move from the Chameleon to aim there! What kind of Karma must his ancestors have collected, for him to deserve this.

Getting out of his grip, she plunges back on Emil, scratching and punching back like a girl, on his body.

She didn't have enough strength to fuel her anger, she was out of breath and used her last bit of strength for the lethal attack.

Emil didn't even feel the punches or scratches, it was compared to the pain of his little buddy, nothing. More compared to, mosquito bites, the most.

After a while the pain lessened and Emil got used to it, in his anger he dragged the woman off him and batched her on the ground.

He grabbed her flailing arm and with a 'chack' sound, dislocated it.

"AAAHHHH-"

Tears rolled down her tightly closed eyes and even burned more, through the salt of the tears. It hurted and she hated pain.

Her mask that covered her mouth has already slipped off her face, showing her snotty face from the crying, it was unsightly.

She wiggled around and screamed at him, to let her go, like a young girl; nothing was left from that scary, icy woman from a while ago.

If Emil had not seen her like that, he would think, he was assaulting an innocent girl right now.

'sob' 'sob' "Let me go!"

Emil had enough, looking at her in this state made him feel sorry for her, so he just let her go.

Chameleon was pretty frustrated, and got distracted, she felt him going of from her and at that moment she tensed her leg and pushed herself away, to have a larger distance from him.

But, what they didn't know was, that one meter away from them was a deep crack on the ground, well hidden by the surrounding plants.

It was wide enough, for two people to fall through.

Chameleon unknowingly, pushed herself in the crack.
