Li Xiuying: "Elder Qin, Mr. Qin Song. Please sit on either side of the bed facing me so I can explain the current situation?"

Qin Song picked up a chair and placed it next to Qin Xian Jun: "Father."

Once his father was seated. Qin Song then picked up the chair that Elder Qin was originally sitting on and moved it so he could sit next to Qin Jie.

Li Xiuying started explaining the diagnosis of appendicitis, the management and treatment options.

They ordered people to cover up for the actions of their sons and to make the complaints disappear."

Fu Meng was shaking: "They were mistakes anyone could have made. We won't make the same mistakes again, we've learned from everything that has happened."

Cheng Wu had tears and snot dripping down his face. 'Father save me.'

Fu Meng: "Those complaints were unfounded..."

Qin Song silenced Fu Meng with a look that promised to utterly destroy his tiny life.

Qin Xian Jun: "Their fathers were able to pay off the patients who complained about the general conduct of Fu Meng And Chen Wu. However, the families who had lost their relatives weren't as easy to buy off. Some families accepted the settlement but the majority refused.

Those families that refused to be bribed and tried to seek justice were denied legal representation with the excuse of insufficient evidence for a case or were strung along by various courts and kept having the trial dates changed. For some families, it was even worse. The primary breadwinner mysteriously lost their jobs and no one else was willing to hire them. They had no way to earn money and had to retreat to their villages or try to find jobs that would pay them off the record."

There was a heavy silence that blanketed the room.

Fu Meng and Cheng Wu both sobbed hysterically whilst begging for leniency. They began kowtowing until the skin on their foreheads was torn. Blood was dripping down their faces and it looked like they were crying tears of blood. What would they do if they lost their careers? Even worse the whole of China would know what they did, how would they even show their faces in public?

But who would give them sympathy? How many families had cried tears of blood when they lost their loved ones? How many tears were shed when these families were cornered and caged by the justice system? So what if they were now crying tears of blood?! What about the blood of their victims?

Their borrowed time had finally come to an end, Karma had finally come to collect.
