Luo Zehn uneasily fidgeted as he darted his head around. He was probably wondering why I wasn't moving and so he decided to keep a lookout for danger. Well, it's not a bad conclusion but he really misunderstood what I was doing. Well, I was one of the few who could use such an intricate technique back in my day so I wouldn't be surprised if other cultivators don't know anything about it.

It didn't take long before I finally located Liu Zhi and his party. They were slowly walking behind a cultivator and by the feel of it, the cultivator guiding them were a realm weaker than them. If worse comes to worst, they could put up a fight and escape the place.

Right now, Liu Zhi and his party were still near the entrance but judging from their general direction. It was obvious that they were heading to the mansion where the shelter leader was living. I immediately noticed where the mansion is since it was the biggest house at the far end of Ziyou Shelter.

And judging from the monstrous amounts of Qi energy gathering near the mansion, I concluded that that's where the Forsaken Tree is located. Although Luo Zehn and I were standing a ways away from the Forsaken Tree,

"Aghk~" Suddenly, blood escaped my mouth as blood escaped from my lips. I didn't know what happened but I could tell that something inside me was agitated. I instinctively covered my mouth as my stomach churned. For a split second, I thought that I would vomit something out but nothing came out. However, when I looked at my hand, I saw that the blood that dripped from my mouth was of black color, or rather, it resembled tar or turpentine. The smell was horrid and for a moment, I thought I was going to die again.

"Yongrui, are you all right? What happened?" Luo Zehn knelt in front of me, placing a hand on my shoulder while lightly shaking me.

I didn't respond. Instead, I raised my hand and waved it up and down, implying that he should get away from me.

"Are you going berserk again?" He asked, this time, he backed away while his hands quickly slid and grabbed the hilt of his katana. "If you are then don't worry. I'll stop you right here right now."

I shook my head. Even though I feel weird inside me and I vomited rotten blood, I don't feel like turning into a mindless rabid human again. So I sent Luo Zehn another signal, telling him to wait for me.

Luo Zehn seemed like he understood what I meant and he backed away. Every time he took a step, his body tensed up. He was probably waiting for me to take action so he could take me down as soon as it happened.

With him gone, I slowly closed my eyes and focused on my Cores. After further inspection, I realized that behind my Original Qi Core and Virus Qi Core was my third Qi Core. I knew that it formed quite recently but I haven't been able to pinpoint its location until now. After finally noticing it, I could tell that my third Qi Core was reacting to the Qi energy being released by the Forsaken Tree. And also, my third Qi Core has an ominous black color, just like the rotten blood that I puked a few seconds ago.

"Hui-ying, any idea? How do I go about calming my third Qi Core?" I asked, but I never expected her to know the answer.

"I'm sorry, Yongrui, I don't know either. But I think it will calm down if you cultivate it." She responded. "Aside from that, I can't think of any other solution."

"Isn't that crazy? If it goes out of control, the other three would do so as well. Wouldn't cultivating it increase the risk of getting it out of control?" I hissed.

I bit my lips and blood came out of it. And quite surprisingly, red blood came out of it.

Wait... aren't I dead already? Why do I have blood?

I didn't have time to ponder on the question that I had in my mind so I decided to heed Hui-ying's advice... that is, to cultivate and try to condense and stabilize my third Qi Core.

Furthermore, compared to my other Qi Cores, I realized that this Qi Core is like a slippery eel. First, it's behind my Original Qi Core and my Virus Qi Core, and then it would move to another part of my body like my head or the heels on my feet. It moves so fast that by the time I detected it, it was already in another place. If this were to continue, I wouldn't be able to stabilize it, let alone cultivate it.

Argh, I guess I have no choice!

As a last resort, I retracted the thin blanket of Qi energy I released to cover the whole Ziyou Shelter and instead wrapped it around my body. Since the blanket was sort of like a detection skill, I thought that it would work in detecting any movement of Qi in my body. Honestly, this was way harder than gathering all the Virus points in my body back when I was forming my Virus Qi Core.

"What control... " I heard Luo Zehn say from afar, probably admiring the Qi that was darting here and there in my body. Little did he know that the reason why I was having a hard time is because of that cursed third Qi Core.

"Yongrui, Yongrui." A faint voice suddenly erupted in my mind.

"Hui-ying, can you please tell me later? I'm busy right now."

"O-okay." Hui-ying nervously responded.

Slowly but surely, I got used to the erratic movement of my third Qi Core and with the help of the Qi energy blanket all over my body, detecting it as soon as it teleports became so much easier. At first I didn't think that it would work but thankfully, I won't have to worry about it getting out of control for now. With the help of my intense concentration, I managed to gradually cultivate my third Qi Core as well.
