I heaved a sigh of relief as my third Qi Core finally took a stable form. It was still as black as ever and held great ominosity but it has become a part of me. It may be a bit smaller compared to my other qi Cores but it had already calmed down so I don't have to worry about it in the meantime. Once I get another chance to cultivate it, I'd have to look out for my other Qi Cores as well because they might get out of control at the same time. Honestly, I have a lot to keep track of but I know that I've definitely gotten a lot stronger.

And what is up with Space and Time Element anyway? Does that mean I'd get to be able to control space and time? That's such a powerful element and yet why is this the first time I've heard about it? I mean I've heard about the Space Element but Time Element? Does it belong in a higher plane like the Middle Plane mentioned by Shen Rong?

Also, where's the Transcendence Realm? Is it above the Middle Plane? Is it even a place? Or, is it some function in the System? If so, what does it do?

I have no idea.

And also, I've received lots of rewards right now but I haven't even done anything about it. Perhaps I should check it later.

"Yong Rui, are you okay?" Luo Zehn called out to me when he saw my eyes flash open, followed by my raspy breathing.

If I hadn't thought of using my Qi energy as a blanket for myself, I would've had a harder time pinpointing my third Qi Core, who knows what would've happened if that were the case!

"Yes, I'm all right. Let's go." I muttered.

The moment we stepped out of the alley, Luo Zehn and I found ourselves in a marketplace where common people were gathered. It was a normal marketplace with all the haggling and the variety of products that were put up but somehow, the atmosphere was pretty heavy. At first glance, I could already tell that something was wrong but I wasn't able to notice it as well.

Again?! What's wrong with the System now?

For a split second, an incredible amount of Qi surged in my body as I felt the System level up. Because the EXP CAp has increased at such a state, gaining EXP point s a little at a time wasn't enough for me to level up. And even though I technically defeated the two super high-leveled hordes when the System teleported me in between their territorial fight, I never heard the system tell me that I gained EXP. But now, the System gave me four level-ups in an instant!

I'm sure of it, there's something wrong with the System. Or maybe, there's something I don't know about its nature. Is it a delayed notification? What is going on, System?

"Yongrui, I don't know anything about it either. Apparently, something was triggered in the System which made you level up. I don't know what it is yet but I think it's something nearby. Or maybe some of your party members are engaged in battle?" Hui-ying interrupted my train of thought.

"Why didn't I think of that?!" I exclaimed out loud, unnecessarily attracting the attention of all the people in the marketplace.

"Yong Rui, are you okay? You've been out of it ever since we arrived here. Is something wrong? You have to tell me if you feel weird, otherwise, I won't be able to aid you in your problems." Luo Zehn asked with a grave tone in his voice. I could tell that he was extremely worried about me.

I shook my head in return as I pulled the hood on my face lower. While doing so, I summoned the panel that showed the state of my party members.

And that's when I saw it.

"Luo Zehn, we have to go. Now." I told him. "Right now, Liu Zhi and the others are engaged in a fight, or, maybe some sort of danger."

"What are you talking about? How could you tell?"

"Just my gut feeling."

Leading the way, Luo Zehn and I carefully but speedily crossed the marketplace so as not to attract any more unwanted attention. I don't know what's happening to the System, nor the state of Liu Zhi's party now. But one thing's for sure, Liu Zhi, Wu Yan, and Blade have met some kind of trouble since their hp gauges were already reduced to less than half. I may have many questions in my mind right now, however, I have no time to worry about such trivial matters. What comes first is the safety of my party members.

Coincidentally, Liu Zhi and the others were near the Forsaken Tree, and Luo Zehn and I were already headed that way. I must say, I'm surprised that Luo Zehn didn't prod me with more questions. Instead, he kept his mouth shut and followed right behind me. He could probably discern that there really is something wrong and based on my expression, he decided to just follow. To think that my disciple would trust me this much is very reassuring.

"Wu Yan! Are you o— "

The sight of them sprawled on the ground made me literally almost lost my mind. And based on experience, losing my mind is not exactly a good thing. Because of my surprise and intense reaction, my three Qi Cores reacted as well and I immediately stopped short to stabilize them. "Luo Zehn, please get them out of there for me." I plead as I planted my feet on the ground.

After all, if I were to move an inch closer, the Forsaken Tree would've retaliated with its surging Qi energy and in turn aggravate the state of my unstable Qi Cores.
