I Will Conquer The World!

He was in a way narcissistic.

He did not believe that the look of reverence in his brother's eyes was something that he would have.

His brother was a sweet person and all, but he had a phobia of trusting others. Except his siblings, he trusted no one, let alone revere them.

He was deep in thought about the current situation, and had several thoughts pass through his mind.

Maybe he was just overthinking, and over complicating something minor? After all, it was also possible that his brother just genuinely became impressed with the king and revered him.

But this was what his gut feeling was. That something was wrong here. If there was anything his elder brother's had reminded him again and again, it was to trust his gut.

According to them, the gut feelings which we get are mostly accurate and correct. Though we had to look at situations logically, it was better to rely on your gut if you had a difficult decision to take at hand.

And he trusted his brothers, which led him to strongly believe in his gut.

He felt extremely suspicious of the two men in front of him. He knew that his suspicions may be unreasonable, but still, they were there.

The sound of a door opening rang out in the room as Maxine turned around to see the king walking in.

The king looked at him in the eyes with a soft smile, which sent shivers down Maxine's spine.

The king then looked at his two brothers and said, "Rise. I have two tasks for the both of you. It is up to you on how you perform them. All I want are results."

His brothers got up from their bowing position and said simultaneously, "Your Majesty can just assign tasks to us and then not worry about them. We will do whatever it takes to achieve them."

The king smiled and looked at his brothers before saying, "Kill your two siblings and the three soldiers, Robinson, Lauren and Ferrell."

Maxine looked at the king with absolute terror in his eyes. He misheard the king right?! Yeah his ears are just not working.

Anyway, its not like his brothers, who love him and Kara so much would kill them. Instead they would kill the king for ordering them to do such a thing.

Harry had his own reasons for ordering the two twisted brothers to do such things.

According to Rae, their souls were replaced with ones which were absolutely loyal to him, right? But the system also said that they still had some affection to people close to him.

He wanted to see just how loyal they would be. If the two twisted brothers could not do it, he could just cover it up as a test, saying things like, 'This was a test by me to you, how could I expect you to remain loyal to me if you are not loyal to your own family?' And stuff like that.

He had actually examined Maxine with the personality scope when he entered the throne room. The reason for this was the strange look in Maxine's eyes.

He also shivered slightly when he smiled at him.

It felt suspicious to Harry, and thus he examined him with the personality scope, only to be dumbstruck due to his internal thoughts.

He was suspicious of his brothers and for some reason much more on guard of him. His loyalty dropped drastically from his previous 50 to 30.

These two were the reasons that he ordered the twisted brothers to kill their siblings.

As for who Ferrell was, he was a spy sent by his father. He had examined the map after the knights arrived, and out of all them, this one person had a pitch black color dot representing himself.

But he had not bothered much about him till now as in his mind he was just a simple inconvenience.

He would kill him eventually, but there was no immediate need to kill him, was there?

And so, he prioritized the murder of Robinson and Lauren in his mind. But now that he had gained two powerful knights, there was no need to delay anything.

Thus he ordered the murder of all three of them.

After hearing the orders that he gave them, both the twisted brothers bowed down again and said in a solemn tone, "Leave it to us, Your Majesty. We will kill all five of them."

Without wasting any time, they looked at their brother Maxine and leaped towards him.

Ethan was about to stab Maxine when Arnold stopped him by grabbing the dagger with his hand, which led it to cause a deep cut in his hand.

Ethan said with confusion, "What are you trying to do Arnold?"

Arnold said with a calm expression, "Oh Ethan, when will you learn? Killing him here may bring problems to the king. Let's take him outside."

Ethan nodded with realization as he striked at his brother's neck which caused him to faint.

Then both of them took one of his hands and lifted him up, while taking him away from the castle in a manner that looked like they were just supporting him to walk.

The whole time, Harry was examining both the brothers with his personality scope, to see if they would suddenly start hating him when he ordered them to kill their own siblings.

Neither did that happen nor did their loyalty decrease. Their inner thoughts did not change too.

Harry grinned happily. He had just gotten two puppets who would do all his dirty work for him.
