I Will Conquer The World!

Maxine felt a gentle breeze blow on him as he slolwy opened his eyes.

He did not immediately remember what had happened, and he felt peaceful.

He looked at his surroundings when he realized that he was in a grassy plain. But why was he here? Wasn't he-

The memories of what had just happened flooded his mind as he turned his head around, only to see his two brothers looking back at him manically while holding long swords.

He stumbled out of shock and fell onto the ground.

They slolwy walked towards him with their swords gleaming menacingly in the sunlight.

Maxine felt adrenalin rushing through his body due to sheer fear as he got up and ran like he was crazy, leaping whenever he tripped.

But it was all for nothing.

Just when he had covered a bit of distance from his brothers, a dagger pierced into his back.

His brother Arnold threw the dagger at him.

Maxine felt intense pain penetrate through his entire body, but he did not stop running.

But just after a few seconds of when Arnold threw the dagger, Ethan threw another dagger.

It pierced into Maxine's right leg as he shouted out of pain and fell onto the ground.

The two twisted brothers slowly walked towards Maxine.

Ethan kicked him to turn his body, so that his face would be in the same direction as the sky rather than the ground.

Maxine begged with tears in his eyes, "Arnold… Ethan… you said you loved me and Kara! Why are you killing us now?! We ate human meat because you two told us too! There's no need to work for that monster! You have exceptional physical powers right? Let's all run away! You can become knights in another kingdom!"

Arnold laughed in a manner which would send shivers down anyone's spine upon hearing it.

He then looked at Maxine coldly and said, "We are not traitors, little brother. But since you touched our heart by reminding us that you ate 'human meat' for us, we'll give you a painless death."

Without saying anything else, Arnold cut off Maxine's head swiftly.

Ethan frowned and remarked, "You said we would torture him before killing him right? It's no fun to kill people so normally."

Arnold smiled and said, "We will, we definitely will. Let's kill that girl in that manner. It's more fun to see a girl struggling out of pain."

Both of them laughed at what Arnold said.

Ethan looked at the dead body of Maxine's and said, "I'll eat him. You go on and start torturing that girl. I'm hungry. I'll catch up."

Arnold nodded and started walking away slolwy, while Ethan went to the dead body and began cutting off pieces off the body with his sword.

Kara was waiting at the door of the hut anxiously. Why were her brothers still not home today? Normally they were back much faster, right?

Did something happen to them? The knights too were present… Did the king do something to them?

She was only getting more and more anxious as time passed, and she was about to run to the castle herself to check if her brothers were safe when she saw Arnold walking towards the hut.

She let out a sigh of relief and ran towards her brother.

She said with a bright smile, "You're finally here big bro! I was so worried you know? I was gonna come to the castle myself if you hadn't come now. Where are the other two? I'll make your favorite food today. You bought rice yesterday-"

She stopped speaking when she saw her brother's cold and uncaring expression.

But before she could ask why her brother was like that, she saw him swinging the sword in his hand towards her neck.

She did not notice his sword as she was too involved in the relief that she gained from the fact that her brother had come back.

The sword cut off her head cleanly as her headless body fell to the floor.

Arnold sighed and said in a small voice, "The most I can do is to grant you a quick death sister. I do want to talk to you a bit before killing you… but if Ethan arrives, he will make sure that you're death is painful and slow."

Ethan arrived to his hut only to see blood splattered in front of the hut.

He entered the hut only to see Arnold sitting in the hut with a calm expression.

Ethan growled, "You killed her?! What about torturing her, huh?!"

Arnold looked at Ethan with a soft smile and said, "We still have three knights we can torture and kill. She is after all our sister. I have buried her after giving her a quick death. Don't devour her body."

Ethan sighed and said, "Fine. You are too soft on girls. You let me eat your own 'brother' didn't you?"

Arnold smiled and nodded his head while saying, "Maybe I am too soft on girls..."

Robinson roamed the streets of Lyria with a soft smile spread on his face. He and his brother were on patrol for today.

He diligently patrolled Lyria, checking every nook and cranny of Lyria.

He was in the main street of Lyria, the street that led people to the castle, when he saw a boy with an expression of panick run to him and stutter, "My mother- robbers! Murder! Help!"

He stuttered a few words again and again, as if he had gone crazy due to fear.

Lauren asked the boy with a concerned expression, "Where is your mother?"
