It took two days for Alex and his Master to reach Dawn City. Dawn city was a mid-tier city governed by the Aaron Marquis. A city's tier was decided by their size and earnings the Kingdom make through the City. On the way to the Dawn City, Elder Silas was teaching Alex about the Spirit Sense. Spirit Sense can be developed through meditation and training control over the Spirit Energy. That's why practicing Formation Building is the best way to develop Spirit Sence. Only after hearing Elder Silas' words he realized that understanding and memorizing is not the hardest part he had to face, it is the development of the Spirit Sense part. Not only that although being a Formation Builder will bring a greater income but, you have to burn a lot of wealth first to successfully become one. Thankfully, Elder Silas promised to provide materials and some Spirit Stones to him. Elder Silas said it was his responsibility as Alex's master.

After Alex reached Dawn City he began walking to his home as he forgot his master's appearing out of thin air incident. Elder Silas didn't mention it either.

Soon he reached his home and when his sister saw his from far she ran towards him and jumped on to him and hugged.

"Brother...I missed you so much."

"Haha, didn't I just left a week ago?" Alex asked hugging her. She latched on to him with her legs wrapping around him.

"It doesn't matter. I miss you every second you were not with me." She put her head on Alex's shoulder and said softly.

Alex put her down. He leaned forward and held on to her shoulder. Alex stared into her and said with a smile.

"Eli,... Happy Birthday." He picked the bottle containing the Spirit Awakening Pill from his pouch and gave it to her. She took the bottle and stared at it.

"Brother, what is this?." Elena asked with confusion.

"This is called Spirit Awakening Pill, sweetie. With this, you can also awaken your Spirit Root and come to the Academy and cultivate with me. Isn't that awesome?" I said yo to her. But she didn't seem excited.

" But_...but if I left with brother, wouldn't mother become alone?"

She asked hesitatingly. But Alex looked at her and smiled.

"Don't worry about it as I already thought about it. You only need to work hard in cultivation and when we grow up we can protect Mother together. Alright?"

"Mm... Ok, I will listen to you, brother." She replied cheerfully. Alex patted her head.

*cough cough*

Just when they were in their happy moments a cough broke them up. It was Elder Silas who has been ignored in their warming family reunion.

Elder Silas was beginning to feel awkward and frustrated because he was treated like air.

'This siscon disciple of mine actually forgot about his own master when he met his sister. I should do something about this siscon. Maybe I should find a girl and fix their marriage as his Master. Hmm...Maybe it's too soon for me to interfere with his personal life'

Just as Elder Silas was about to give them a speech, Elena, who was irritated for being interrupted of her happy moments with her brother, glared at him. Elder Silas' tongue was held by her glare. After being glared straight into his eyes by her Elder Silas averted his eyed instinctively. Elder Silas sighed by his own action and thought. ' To think someone powerful as me was defeated with just a glare of her. It is also no wonder this kid became a siscon.'

Alex noticed Elena's action and was put in an awkward situation. He quickly dragged his sister and tried to introduce his master to her.

*cough* "Elena, this is my Master, Elder Silas. Come and greet him." Alex also made a formal introduction of his sister to his master.

Elena greeted Elder Silas after cutely pouting to her brother. She was still discontent with the interruption by Elder Silas. She looked at him with curiosity. she was curious about who was the one who took her brother as a disciple. Elder Silas saw she was looking at him and tried to smile and took a bottle of pills out of his pocket so he can amend the earlier situation. But when Elena saw that smile it reminded of her mother's warning about perverted old uncles that tries to trick little girls with smile and candies. She quickly hid in her brother's back. When Elder Silas saw that he thought she was shy and he laughed. But if he knew her original thoughts, he would have coughed some blood for sure.

Alex, who saw she was hiding behind him, held her hands and began to enter his house. He also didn't forget to invite his master inside.

"Please take a seat inside, master. My home is rather small, but I hope you can find comfortable seating inside." Hearing Alex's sound his mother also came out of the kitchen. Alex introduced his master to his mother also. Alex didn't mentioned that his master is an elder in the Academy as it would only make his family more nervous.

His mother had baked a cake for their birthdays as always. After the birthday cake was cut, the two siblings fed each other{Ahem, no weird fantasies}. Elder Silas didn't want to intrude any further to their family celebration, or he just couldn't watch any further of their sis-con bro-con actions and decided to leave. But he said he will come back next day morning.

Alex was purely doing everything for Elena in caring he has for his sister, but Elena was someone that received only her brother's love most as she doesn't have a father, and Alex well, the other guy, took care of her really well as their father left them after Elena's birth. And it made Elena really dependent on Alex also developed abnormal love for him. But Alex or his mother hadn't realized it yet.

It was soon the gift exchanging time. Although he already gave her the Spirit Awakening Pill he still gave her the rest of the things he bought. He also bought some clothes and jewelry for his mother. But Elena seems to hesitate about something.

"What is it dear? Why you look sad? Is there something you want? Just tell me and brother will but it for you." Alex asked her stroking her hair gently.

But Elena shook her head. She hesitatingly brought out a flower and presented to him. She tried to form a bright smile for him and said.

"Happy Birthday, big brother."

Alex looked at her forced smile and trembling hand and understood why was she hesitating for. He received the flower from her and hugged her.

"Thank you, Eli."

When she heard it she formed the brightest smile ever and gave him a peck on the cheek. Then she ran towards her room to check out the gifts Alex gave her.
