Alex was amazed by this understanding. Alex looked through other arrays. After studying them for an hour he learned it completely. Now he only needs to develop Spirit Sense through practicing array building and he can be called a Spirit Formation Trainee. When he thought about his master's promise, he was eager to practice the Primary Mana Convening Array. Just when Alex was deep in thought Ron returned with the Spirit Awakening Pill. Only then Alex remembered something important.

' I have to apply for a leave permission today or I won't be able to reach home on our birthday, just like last time. Last I was busy....getting bullied and only reached home a day later of our birthday. This time it has to be different. Because the only thing I can do for Alex in return for using his body and giving me a family again. I have to give them a better life in return for the love they are giving me.' Alex remembered the face of his sister when he woke, she was tired from crying and fell asleep, also the worried face of his mother. He felt warmth from them and felt from the inner self that he want to make them smile

Alex quickly left his room and went to apply for the leave permission. If he left the Academy Premises without it, it will be considered breaking rules of the Academy and he will be punished. The leave permission can be obtained from Law Enforcement Hall situated in the Core Mountains area.

Alex quickly reached there and applied. Someone attended his application quickly Thankfully, there wasn't any delay as Alex told the law enforcement hall follower that it was his birthday three days later. Alex was surprised that the man was surprisingly polite to him, unlike the last time. Although Alex found it surprising, he didn't think there was a need to bother about it. Since he is successfully completed the first objective now he has to go and buy something to bring home. Alex felt like he can't go home empty-handed like every time. He remembered the smile on Eli's face {His sister if you don't remember}. But when he thought about it now, he felt her smile was somewhat forced. He wanted to make her genuinely smile this time. With this thought in his mind, he went to East Region to buy some gifts.

In the Main Entrance, the Spirit Root Testing Hall, there was a man wearing Law Enforcement Hall robe. If Alex saw him, He would be surprised to find out it was the same man who authorized his leave permission also been polite to him in the Law Enforcement Hall.

"Yes lord Silas, he said it was his birthday three days later and wanted to go home to celebrate with his family." The man kneeling said politely.

The old man sitting in a throne-like chair leaned back to the chair and put his hands on the chair. It was indeed Elder Silas on the chair. But if Alex saw him he will be surprised or maybe scared by the current Elder Silas. There was no kind and humble expression on Elder Silas' face. Only a serious and indifferent face. It was like a totally different person.

After hearing the Law Enforcement Hall follower said he began laughing surprising the man kneeling in front of him.

"Haha, he didn't even inform me about such an important thing. It seems I should punish him...Hmm, maybe not. I can't scare the disciple I found after a long hard work."{😳}

Elder Silas fell back to his chair and thought.

'Since it is the first birthday he celebrates after he became my disciple. I should give him a big gift. But what should I give to him? Should I give him that ahead of his success in becoming a Formation Trainee? ...No. I have to keep to my original decision for that one. Hmm..'

"That's it. I just have the perfect gift for him."

Elder Silas disappeared after shouting that leaving man kneeling there. After Elder is gone he also got up and left to do his work thinking how to get on the good side of his lord's new disciple.

After buying some clothes and some jewelry Alex packed everything and reached the Main Entrance Gate to leave. There were some inquiries about leave permission and things that he bringing out with him. But there was no obstacle there and he successfully left the Academy Premises. Alex approached a carriage to take him to Dawn city where his family live.

Just when Alex was about to enter the carriage he noticed someone was already sitting inside it. His mouth went wide when he realized who it was.

"Ma_master, what are you doing here?" It was Elder Silas inside it.

" Hohoho, to think my favorite disciple actually didn't inform me about his birthday. I am very very sad." Elder Silas said making a sad face that looked very original.

Only then Alex remembered that he actually forgot to inform his master about his birthday. But he never celebrated his birthday in the last few years as he would always try to make his sister happy that day.

"Ah, that_...I actually don't celebrate my birthday as it is also my sister's birthday. I was actually going home to congratulate her for her birthday and give some gifts." Alex said.

"Oh, you have a twin sister?" Elder Silas asked.

"No no. She is ten years old this year. She was born on the same date as my birthday." Alex replied but he still was standing outside of the carriage.

"Oh, so it's like that. Well, what are you waiting for? get in. This will be the first birthday celebration with your master." Alex stared at his master's face for some time and formed a warm smile his face as he got in the carriage.

"Alright then. Let's go, driver. To Dawn City."

{A/n: Didn't want to write this section as even I found it boring. But I have to continue on the flow as I have to get back to my original path of the story...I intend to write and release the next chapter today. Hope I can make it}
