=== Nicolas's Point of View ===

"Nisan!" Ed immediately grabbed me from the second floor to the first floor. Also Ethan come and join us to the first floor of the carriage.

"Here!" Rin immediately give both of us a heavy armor to use, also Erin... This is going to be a big trouble.

"Get out from the carriage!" A dwarf shout, but all of us don't get it, so Ethan translate it for us... "Let's get down from the carriage..." Ethan told all of us...

We nodded since we do not want to search for trouble. Ethan get down from the carriage first, with his heavy armor, and helmet. I looked around and found that we are completely surrounded by the dwarfs.

And finally, I get down the last and we are lined up...

A soldier come closer, and check all of us, until he stood in front of me. "Open your helmet..." he said, but I do not understand what he just said. "Ah, he can't speak dwarven language, you can talk to me..." Ethan said with a language I am not familiar with.

"Then, open your helmet..." the soldier told Ethan, he is so small?!

"I am sorry, we can't do that now..." Ethan told the soldier, and "Guns!" the dwarf shouted. I can see the musket man are preparing to shot. I do not understand what they are saying, but I know that we are in trouble.

"Hey, we can't fight! We don't have any weapon right now..." Precilla remind Ethan. Ethan nodded.

=== Ethan's Point of View ===

"We are an adventurer from Sera, and we are doing a special mission..." I told the soldier, but he looked much more suspicious, "What is your mission?" he asked me. This dwarf use a heavy armor and a hammer on his back.

W-What should I do... now I remember about why this place is being avoided. I face the soldier that has been asking me, and say, "We have to defeat a so called 'ghost' in this place..." I told the soldier.

He looked at me suspiciously, "I see, we are actually trying to fight the ghost, and it is an official army of Dunok, so don't worry about it..." the dwarf said as he raise his hand, and the musket troops pull their weapon. I can see Nico let a sigh in relieve.

"We will have to interrogate you a little longer, and so you can leave..." the dwarf told us, but that is a bad thing. "I want all of you to open your armor and leave it behind" the dwarf demanded.

"W-Why is that?" I asked, because of my hesitation, he looked at me with his suspicion. "We need to see anyone inside the helmet, making sure that all of you are not a fugitive running... since Navroth has been looking for several person..." the dwarf said.

Now, I am a hundred percent sure that they are our enemy. I was hoping that they are a troops that are hiding from Navroth... but, it isn't the case.

"I am sorry, but no one has ever seen my face, and my brother face..." I told the dwarf which is standing in front of me, "Our face is burnt by a sorceror... and if you really want to see it, it will disgust you, and you might not be able to eat for the whole days..." I told the dwarf, and he looked like he trusted us.

But then he shook his head, "I-I am ready to see whatever inside the helmet..." the dwarf said

T-This is bad, what should we do... I looked at Nicolas and he is still facing me, and so does everyone else... "They want to see our face..." I told everyone in human language.

"Don't..." Ed said

"Hey, can you lie to them?" Lisa asked me, "I-I did! But they still want to see our face..." I told them

"Should I go and prepare my magic?" Nicolas asked me. "W-Wait, if anything get worse, you could, but I will try to convince him more..." I told Nicolas, and he nodded.

"Faster! Just open you helmet!" the dwarf shouted, he seems very impatient now. "I told you, we can't, we are just a normal adventurers" I told the dwarf as I give him the adventure license.

"Sera, Diamond Rank party?!?" the dwarf sounds surprised. And I nodded, "We are, and we are going to leave this place without telling anyone else..." I told the dwarf.

"B-But still!" the dwarf said but I come closer to him and whisper, "I will tell the client that our mission is done, and it is a good trade for both of us right? We are pretty strong ourselves... we could even kill hundreds of you..." I told the dwarf and I can hear his gulp.

"Look at that" I said as I point something on the card, it is written 'High Elementalist, Elemental Fighter' and more of our position in our party.

Seeing the High Elementalist word, he looked surprised...

"F-Fine, just go and leave, but do not tell anybody about this place!" the dwarf said

I nodded, "We will! Don't worry about that!" I said happily, and as the dwarf that has been interogatting me left, the soldiers around us left as well.

I let a sigh in relieved. "As expected from the prince!" Lisa said happily. "Ssssttt!!" everyone ssshh her and she close her mouth. "Let's leave..." I told everybody else.

During our way back to the surface

"Why are we returning anyway?" Nico asked me. But hearing that question, Eria and Ed looked speechless. "We can't head further..." I told Nico. "Huh?! I thought we got the permission!" Nicolas said

I let a sigh, "Nope, we didn't..." I said

"There!" Ed said while pointing out a big empty space. We are currently on the second floor of the carriage, and we are heading toward the surface. Since the mission was a failure.

June stopped in the big empty space, and we decided to stop and take a break, and explain the situation to everyone else, since Nico looked very disappointed...

=== Nicolas's Point of View ===

I feel a bit down after we fail the mission, and right now we are stopping in a big area to take a rest. June needs a break, and Erin is the one that release the mount on June.

"So, are we returning to the surface?" Roxane asked Ethan, and Ethan nodded. "We can say to Jeremiel that there are soldiers there, and we can't just pass through..." Ethan said.

"Let's do this!" I said as I stand up from my seat. "Huh? Do what?" Ethan asked me, "No, passing them are too risky..." Morgan said.

"Why?" I asked Morgan, I just don't get it, there surely something wrong with them. Ethan told me that they are investigating the ghost right now, but... they should not build something that big only for a haunted labyrinth...

"Nico, if those soldier knows our position, then it will be a world wide information. Navroth will be able to locate us, and we will be attack restlessly..." Morgan told me, and Eria, Ed and Ethan nodded.

I let a sigh... "That's true..." I said, I can't argue with Morgan since what he said is true.

After seeing me so disappointed, Erin give us a suggestion. "I can check that place if you want?" Erin said as she stood up.

Everyone looked at her, and I just remembered what she can do! "That would be risky if you do it on your own..." Ethan said, but another girl stood up. "I will accompany her... I am pretty good in sneaking and infiltrating..." Lisa said with a smile.

Both of them are not facing Morgan or Ethan, but they are facing at me. "What do you say Nico?" Erin asked me. "Can you do it?" I asked. Both of them give me a nod. Both of them are strong, Lisa's scouting and infiltration ability is top tier, even compared to Erin. While Erin is a good fighter, I guess they will be okay. But...

"How about after you pass them?" Morgan asked both Lisa and Erin, and now both of them looked pretty clueless, "Then, how about the food and water supply? We don't know where the special floor location yet, we are completely blind even after you guys had passed that floor...." Morgan defended his statement.

And I hate it, since it true, all of what he said is right to the point, we can't do anything if we are not together.

"Unless..." Ethan said, and all of us looked at him. Is he planning something? "If all of us infiltrate them, and destroy them from the inside..." Ethan said. I am now very confused with his word, "How to destroy them from the inside?" Morgan asked Ethan seriously.

"Both Lisa and Eria will be mapping the floor, and watch for their weak spot" Ethan told everyone. "After both of them scouted the place, we can execute the plan, maybe we can kill them one by one..." Ethan told everyone, but is it everyone or only me that are now a bit hesitating.

Kill?! "Killing will do no good, Sera's guild will be in trouble..." Morgan said, and somehow I nodded, while everyone looked at me in confusion. W-What's with that?!"But," Morgan said and all of us looked at him.

"We can knock them out, and choose the best route to the next floor..." Morgan said. "How? We should be totally unseen..." Ethan said

"That is why, we need both Lisa and Erin" Morgan said, "They will search for the route to the next floor, and then find the route with least security..." Morgan continue.

I like the idea, "I think I am agree with that" I told everybody, and they all looked confuse with me. "What's with that?" I decided to ask since it is become pretty annoying.

"You were about to kill them all, but now, you change your mind immediately after hearing Morgan's plan..." Eria said with annoyed face.

"T-That is!...." I don't know what to said.

"We didn't have any plan before, but this might work!" Ethan said defending me. I nodded hardly! "Then, let's prepare both of you!" Precilla told Lisa and Erin, and both of them nodded.

An hour later...

"We are ready!" Lisa said energetically as usual. I can see her bringing like three daggers. "That is a lot of dagger you brought there..." I told her. But then she laughed, "W-What's with that?" I asked in confusion.

"How many daggers do I have right now?" Lisa asked me.

Hmmm, I can only see three, but there is supposed to be more right? "Four" I said, then she laughed once more. She then show me two more on her small cape behind her. Two more on her sleeves, another two in her boots, and 3 more i-inside her pants?!

I decided not to look at it. Then she laughed at me.

"Hey Nico..." a voice behind my ears can be heard, really close.

And somehow it sounds, angry...

"W-What is it?" I asked as I turn my head slowly.

"Tell me, what did you see?" Eria asked me with a smile, but I can sense her bloodl.u.s.t. "N-Nothing! I swear!!" I said since I still want to be alive.

Seeing that, Lisa laughed, and she come closer to Eria. "Don't worry, he is yours.." Lisa told Eria whisperingly, but I can't hear that.

Eria then blushed and Lisa laughed once more, "What are you talking about?" I asked as I come closer, "Ask her! I will check Erin!" Lisa said as she left.

She is weird, "What did Lisa say?" I asked Eria. But then she hit me on my head, "W-What!?? Did I do something wrong?!" I asked in hurt. "N-No, but I just want to!" she said then she sit on the ground.

Both of them are weird...

"Both of them will ride June... I hope you don't mind" Eria said with her serious face. "T-That's fine..." I told her with a bit scared.

I then join her and sit on the ground of the labyrinth. When I look at her, I can see that she has some thought. "What are you thinking?" I asked Eria, she then looked surprised with my question. But she answer, "I miss Sera" she said.

Sera... that's the city where I spent my time adventuring, meet a lot of people and I have fun a lot. "Me too..." I told her, and she smiled. But then, I looked at her hair. She has a long blonde hair, which is why I decided to ask, "Are you a Dragon Race?" I asked. She looked at me with surprised, but then she smiled. And she looks really pretty...

"I am... so..." her face then change to an angry smile?!, "H-Heh?!" I sounds confuse, "You just know that I am a Dragon Race?!" She sounds angry?! But she is displaying a smile on her face.

"H-Hey! I am just making sure!" I told her for my defense... "You could ask that earlier... like during back there, in Sera..." she said as she look at the sand.

Yes, the floor of this labyrinth is somehow covered by sand, like a desert. Eria then play the sand with her finger. "Back then, in Sera... Hmmm..." I then give a thought, why I did not ask her about that. "Because you are so scary?" I said

And I got another hit...

"I-I am sorry..." I said

"Hey! Nicolas! Eria! We are going!" Erin told both of us from distance. "Get back alive!" I shouted at Erin and she smiled. "We will!" Erin said as she climbed on June.

"Y-You don't want to meet them and say your farewell?" Eria asked me in confusion. "Huh? She will be going for only 3 to 4 hours, and both will return..." I told Eria, hearing my words, her serious face changed and she begin to laugh.

"Hey! What's with that?" I asked her, and after she finish laughing, "Somehow, I love with your optimism!" She said as she laughed again.

"He is always too optimist!" Morgan told Eria as he pass by, and left...

"A-Am I?!" I asked Eria, and she looked at me in confusion once more... but then laughed again, now I am really confuse. "You are!!" she said... "Let's kill them all..." she said imitating my serious face...

S-She is thinking about me killing all of the dwarfs isn't she? =_=

"Hey! Both of you~ Have you finish your date?!" Roxane asked from distance...

"We are not dating!" Both of us shouted in unison...

Hearing both of us answering in unison, Roxane asked once more, "Are you sure?" She asked while laughing, but this time both of us remain silent, and we come closer and join with the other with blush on our face.

=== Euclio's Point of View ===

"Nicolas... is... in... a... labyrinth..." I read the fire sign created by Jeremiel.

Both of us are currently in a meeting, and of course, with Clairvoyant. I can't use Clairvoyant, but I can use this shiny device from Jeremiel to see him, and Nicolas only.

"Hey Jaxson, say hi to both of you parents..." I told Jaxson which is currently laying on my bed. He ignored me. T-This boy!

"HEY! GREET YOUR PARENT!" I told her with angry voice, and he jumped from my bed. He immediately waved his hand to the eye above me, and I can see both Jeremiel and Evelyn looked very happy. I can't see the eye, but there must be an eye above my head, means Jeremiel is watching me.

"See! Done!" Jaxson said with annoyed voice as he return laying on my bed. I let a sigh...

"See... you... next... time..." I read as Jeremiel created another sign, and I wave my hand at him. And the image become blurry... means the Barrier Magic has been raised.

Jaxson is now an Advance Tier. That is a rapid progress, I guess having Bios Eyes is really helping the user in swordsmanship or other any close combat fight. But for a mage? It might be useful either. That eye is very convinient.

But then... black eye... Ed's eye... I wonder what it is.

I remembered what Jeremiel said, the weakest to the strongest... Red, Blue, and Black. Red means Nico, blue means Jaxson, black? That is supposed to be Ed right?

"Euclio... what's on your thought?" Jaxson asked me out of a sudden. "Oh, just thinking about Ed's power..." I told Jaxson, but then he ignores me.. "Let's train!" he said.

T-This boy! "It is 1 AM! Get back to your room!" I told him and he let a sigh, "Fine, fine..." he said as he stood up from my bed, and left my room without saying anything.

I let a sigh, after he close my door. Having a student sure is hard... Then I can hear a laughter. It makes my fur all stand up since I found no one in my room but myself. "W-Who is it?!" I asked but then something appears. W-Wait, it is someone...

"Abes!!" I called his name angrily! My heart was beating so fast, I thought this place is haunted. He laughed afterward. "Sorry Euclio-sama... I just want to see your daily routines at night" Abes said

Abes Terax, the leader of Politic City in Qiteron Kingdom, and he is the person that raise me more than my Tousan his self. He was with me, even when I have no skill in swordsmanship.

"Want to have some fresh water?" He asked me. "Sure!" and both of us decided to leave the palace.

It took like almost an hour to leave the palace, since my palace is one of the biggest palace in this world. It covers like almost 10% of Qiteron Kingdom. And when we left, we are in the Politic City of Qiteron Kingdom. You can see houses made of earth magic, but all of them are designed beautifully.

Both of us walk to a restaurant, and as we walk there are a lot of person looking at us and some of them even bow. If Nicolas was here, he will bow back... Should I? Bowing back means you lower your degree right?!

"Do you feel uncomfortable? Do you need guards?" Abes asked me, maybe he looks at my confusion, but I shook my head. "No, I am fine..." I told him.

Both of us are heading to a restaurant where we always eat. The chicken soup restaurant... This restaurant is pretty big, since it has the best soup in the entire Ocean Kingdom. "Two chicken soup please..." Abes told the waiter.

The waiter looked pretty nervous, "O-Of course! Euclio-sama... Abes-sama..." she said as she leave pretty fast.

"It's been a while..." I said, the last time I went to this place was before I start teaching Jaxson... Abes laughed. "You sure has grown into a great man..." Abes said. "Huh? What did I do?" I asked

"You wake Feurius-sama up, you save our kingdom's relationship with other kingdoms and you even have a student!" Abes said proudly.

"T-That is just... by luck..." I said while looking away... but Abes laughed, and then he smiled as he looked at me... "You sure are a humble boy..." Abes said

Then the soups arrived. The waiter put it on our table and left, and as usual. Before we eat, Abes check the soup with his silver rod. And... nothing happened. "Let's eat..." He said and I nodded.

While we are eating, the restaurant become very crowded. I let a sigh, and Abes laughed. "It is 2 AM and why people are still around..." I said with annoyed face, "There are a lot of people moved to Politic City, especially those who chose you as the next king..." Abes explained

Yes, we were fighting about the next King after Tousa, whether it is me or Owen-nisan... but eventually, Tousan decided that I will be the next King after he fought against Alduir.

Just what changed him?

"Are you thinking about Feurius-sama?" Abes asked me. I nodded, h-how did he know? He smiled, "Thanks to you, he return to his old self, and I prefer that one than the new one..." Abes said.

"What actually happened?" I ask Abes and he smile. "You see, when we fight against Alduir, Alduir told Feurius-sama that he is not a threat, but you are more a threat than Feurius-sama himself. I guess that triggers him somehow..." Abes said as he laughed.

"Am I really a threat?" I asked with confusion, "Of course! You are against Navroth! But Feurius-sama is in neutral position..." Abes said. I let a sigh...

"But now... Feurius-sama is a bigger threat than you..." Abes told me. And I nodded, which is why, Hercule is always beside him these days. Also he increases his guard. Tousan... he is now the fifth, and now even gathering all of the Ocean Kingdom to fight Reudora Kingdom...

"Are you sure we are going to win?" Abes asked me. Then he slurped his soup. I raise both of my shoulder, "Who knows..." I said.

King Ethen and King Zeon are still alive, and we have Ocean Kingdom with us, and somehow we convinced both Southern and Northern Kingdom.

"Dwarven Kingdom... your friends are heading to that place right?" Abes asked me. I nodded...

"So... you have been listening this all night?" I asked him with suspicious eyes... "N-No... it was just tonight... I swear" he said and sounds panick but I laughed. Since I don't mind if he knows about it. I trust him 100% percent!

"Tomorrow night, we will have another meeting with Jeremiel... make sure you join us..." I told Abes. "A-Are you sure?" He asked me with surprised. "Of course... we need more opinion from a genius like you..." I said praising him... and he laughed.

"If it is Euclio-sama's request, I can't refuse..." Abes said.

And afterwards, we return to the castle and decided to take a rest...

=== Nicolas's Point of View ===

"Hey! I can see both of them!" Ed said as he looking at the entrance to the floor above us. I look at that direction and I can see both Erin and Lisa return while riding June.

When they are arrived in front of us, both jump from June and Eria gives them drink. Both of them drink savagely... I wonder what did they do? It's been only 5 hours.

We are in shift, so everyone is sleeping except Eria, Ed and I.

"How is it?" I asked Erin. "They... They..." Erin said while catching her breath. "They do some experiment there!" Lisa said. Experiment? Like a laboratorium? "On what?" Eria asked.

"Human!" Erin said in panick way. Ed, Eria, and my face turn to frown. "There are hundreds of people there! We should help them!" Erin said

Eria and Ed looked at me.

"I-It's not me to decide! Let's wake everyone up!" I said. But as I said that, Erin hold my hand. We are about to wake the other up, but she stopped me. "What is it?" I asked Erin. Ed, Erin and Lisa looked at her in confusion. "Talking with them, will take more time..." she said

Now I am confuse, "All of you will debate whether you should save them or not! So...!" Erin said desperately... Even she can't finish her words...

"I understand..." Eria said. "Huh?" I asked Eria. "Lisa... Erin... both of you take our shift, and we will take care of them... what do you think?" Eria asked Erin. Erin and Lisa nodded.

"W-Wait for a second!" Ed stopped Eria. But Eria did not stop. "Nico, do you want to save them?" Eria asked me with her fierce eyes. I nodded...

"Then... let's do it!" Eria said, and now I look at Ed...

"S-Should we at least tell them?" Ed asked both of us.

"To be honest, I like how Nicolas think..." Lisa said to everyone... "Why?" I asked in confusion. "His way of thinking is just, straight-forward... he will think about the other case later..." Lisa said

T-That is bad isn't it?

"Hey! Let's save them first! Ed are you joining?!" Eria asked Ed as she cornered him with time... "F-Fine... let's go..." Ed said as the three of us ride June.

We decided to left Lisa and Erin behind, since both of them looked very tired. And we need someone to replace ourselves to watch everybody else.

"Nisan... are you sure?" Ed asked me. "I don't know..." I said... Eria is sitting in the most front.

"But all I know is, that saving them is the right thing to do..." I told Ed, and somehow, I can feel Eria smiled.

"That is true... June... can you run faster?" Eria asked June, and she neighed...

The three of us will stop the entire army, are we able to do it? I am not sure... But I have to do the right thing. That's the real me.

"I will create a distraction on the enemy's wall... and the two of you will use that chance to enter their camp, and free those hostages" I told Eria and Ed about the plan.

"Are you sure?" Ed asked me, I nodded... "Don't worry, I am the best person to do that, the rest is up to you... I will try my best not to kill..." I told Ed, and he nodded.

Then, I can see an entrance to the labyrinth floor where the dwarven camp are...

"Nico..." Eria called my name, "What is it?" I responded...

A moment of silent, I can only hear June's footstep beating the floor.

"Stay alive... I will kill you if you are dead..." Eria said, and it does not make any sense. But all I know, that she is worry about me...

"Yeah... I will..." I told her, and she smiled.

"Be ready to split!" Ed said and all of us focus on the road, and we are very close to enter the room... "Ed, go to the left, I'll go right!" Eria said as we almost arrive.

"Create... Elements" I said and all of the five orbs appeared behind my back, and... "[SWIFT]" I casted it on the four of us, including June...

When we arrived at the labyrinth floor, where the human experiment is going on, the guard hasn't seen us yet... but Ed jumped from June and run to the left, while Eria run to the right, following the wall of the labyrinth...

After they are far enough, I call the guards...

"Hoyyy!" I shouted while waving my staff with my right hand. Seeing that all of the guards are on guard.

They shouted something, but... I don't even understand...

"I am going to attack you soon!" I told them, but they looked pretty confuse, and of course... There are about tens of man on the wall, and they are aiming guns at me?!?

H-Hey! Guns should not be invented yet right?!

One of the commander shouted, and... they all open fire...

"[WIND]" I said as I use it a hundred percent full. And as the result is, all of the bullet return to their shooter.

And those shooters fall to the ground. T-That powerful?! I know that I used a hundred percent, but I use it because I am afraid of those guns. I know that bullet are much faster than arrows, which is why I did a hundred percent push.

But, I killed all of the guards on the wall, and within that, I can hear a bell was rang. And I can see hundreds of footsteps coming closer to my direction.

I hope that is enough to distract them...

The rest is up to both Eria and Ed.

The gate is suddenly opened, and I can see a dwarf riding a hog? So hog is their mount in Dwarven Kingdom... he is accompanied by another dwarf which is walking beside him.

"Nicolas Maxwell" He called my name... Okay, I just added another trouble for us... "You are the most wanted person in this world, we will hand you over to Navroth-sama..." the dwarf on the hog said. But...

"What?! I don't understand..." I shouted from distance. He is talking in Dwarven Language... how do I supposed to understand, but I hear my name and Navroth's name being mentioned.

But then, the dwarf next to him translated to me, ah! So he is the translator...

"You are not going to live to tell that to Navroth!" I told them. The translator face is frown now, and the other dwarf is panicking as well.

After the translator tell the dwarf on hog, he looked pretty chill. He then told the translator several words, and the translator will be speaking on his behalf.

"We have a direct comunication to Navroth... Navroth could immediately come here..." the translator said

What?! Wait!? How?! I looked at his face, and he is smiling... W-What's with that?! How?! Are they using what Europa used?!

I remembered how Europa contacted everyone in the Sky Kingdom to stop the Kingdom's movement, does anyone in this camp could do that?!

"How? If you retreated, we will not tell her..." the dwarf suddenly said...

"Huh?" I said with confusion, is he stupid?!

I looked at his face, and I can see fear...

Now I am a hundred percent that he is bluffing... He will tell my position anyway if he got that type of magic, since it will be a reinforcement for them. And letting me leave safely? That is a totally stupid statement.

"No... you are bluffing..." I told him and hearing that the translator looked afraid once more. Now I am positive that they are bluffing.

After the dwarf on the hog, which is supposed to be the one in charge in this place hears what the translator said. He shouted once more... "Musket!!" he shouted

I don't get it what he said but... "[LOW]" I said.

The whole troops in front of me hit their head to the floor instantly. That is the power of Gravity Magic, I pushed them to the floor, and everyone can't stood up.

I can hear their voice, trying their best to stood up... but they can't. When they are about to stood up, I increase the power of the magic, and they return to the ground.

It took almost half an hour, until I see Ed... he is waving his hand from a watch tower in the middle of the camp.

T-That Ed... I don't understand what he means... can you just come closer to me...

But then I realize that I am summoning a really HIGH Gravity that makes everyone around me fall to the floor.

I let a sigh, what can I do...

I really want to create an Earth Prison, but Earth magic is forbidden when you are inside a labyrinth, it could destroy the labyrinth foundation and eventually will collapse.

But suddenly, I can see another soldier behind Ed on the watch tower...

"ED!!" I shouted!

T-That boy did not hear me...

But he looked back and found himself unprepared... I prepared my wind magic as I want to shot that person behind him. But the distance are too far away, and I could even hit Ed with this...

"Huh?!" I looked at Ed with surprised face. W-What's happening?!

The man is dead out of a sudden... but when the man was thrown away, I can see a girl with her long blonde hair and her heavy armor.

I let a sigh in relieved... As always, she is our savior...

She saved Nathalia once, and now she saved Ed... She is one of the most trustworthy person.
