Skye completely ignored the system announcement as his eyes spewed out fierce flames in anger.

Staring at the dozens of masked ninjas around the dilapidated warehouse, Skye activated the Sharingan.

As he stood under the rays of sunlight, Skye called upon the thunder and lightning.

*Rumble, Rumble*

It didn't take long before gloomy, bellowing clouds loomed above the skies as the resounding roars of thunders could be heard.

"Lightning!" shouted Skye.

At that moment, a terrifying flash of lightning descended from the heavens and struck Skye, as if it was a smite of judgment.

*Boom!*

As his body was enveloped by golden sparks of energy, Skye stepped forth, not intending to hide and sneak into the warehouse.

Right then, the attention of the ninjas shifted from the skies and onto the figure that was akin to the divinity of lightning.

Without wasting words, the death-squad that was the Hand's ninjas rushed towards Skye at once.

*Crack!*

When Skye stomped the ground, web-like cracks were formed as he launched himself towards them.

Using his Sharingan, Skye glared at the eyes of whoever he could, f.o.r.c.i.b.l.y entrancing them.

'Attack.'

He ordered in his head as the few hypnotized ninjas started to attack their comrades, their blades flashing with cold light alongside the warm blood and flesh.

"What the hell do you think you're doing!" shouted a ninja that was still sane only to be greeted by a sword penetrating in his c.h.e.s.t.

"Stop this at once!"

"You dare betray the Hand?"

"Bastard!"

"..."

"..."

As havoc was wrought about, Skye entered the chaotic situation as his fists slammed and smashed onto anything and everything it could touch.

*Thud!* A muffled sound rang out as Skye gifted a roundhouse kick to one of the ninjas' face, sending him flying tens of meters away, unconscious.

At that moment, Skye sensed three enemies on his sides and back, brandishing their sabers and katanas towards him.

Slamming his foot onto the ground, a golden flame-like aura enveloped Skye's body as he welcomed their weapons.

However, upon meeting contact with his body, under the shocked and frightened eyes of the three ninjas, the blades of their weapons broke like a fragile glass.

'Experiment done,' smirked Skye, as he sent out three punches.

As bodies upon bodies piled up on his kill streak, what followed them were system announcements, one after another.

.....

Meanwhile, inside the dilapidated warehouse,

"Was that your brother earlier? The one you called?" asked a masked man towards the shivering Jade, who was sitting on the cold hard ground by the wall, her arms tied up and her clothes tattered.

Jade: "..."

Despite her eyes that were clearly frightened, her lips remained shut, not saying anything.

Looking at the stubborn girl, the masked man laughed coldly. "I really don't know why we're ordered to keep you alive... But don't worry, that brother of yours, on the other hand, will soon follow the footsteps of your parents."

"...?" confused at what the man said, Jade's eyes blanked out as she suddenly felt her heart sunk.

Although she was only 9-years old, she was incredibly smart and m.a.t.u.r.e for someone her age, so after a few moments of processing, a terrifying thought took over her brain.

"What did you—" Jade tried asking the man only to be interrupted by another ninja who was running towards their direction.

The masked man was also surprised when he saw the ninja running towards him as he asked. "What is it?"

The frantic ninja came up to him and whispered a few sentences.

A few moments later, the masked man descended into silence as his eyes narrowed, his heart pounding rapidly.

"Let's go!" he shouted. "Gather everyone in this place, we need to kill that man."

As Jade's eyes stared at the two ninjas whose figures started to disappear, although still anxious and afraid, a large amount of her frightened feeling had turned into a fiery rage.

As her eyes glared at the two ninja's backs, unconsciously, traces of heat emanated from her fingertips as minuscule sparks of blaze appeared before disappearing a few moments later.

She closed her eyes as inevitable tears trickled down her face, her body shivering.

At that moment, a coughing sound could be heard a few meters away from her.

Whilst still in tears, Jade's eyes glanced at the bloodied figure who was bound to a wooden chair, his feet, arms, and hands, tied by thick ropes.

This figure was wearing a thin black sweatshirt and sweatpants, with a black bandana covering the upper part of his face.

"Hey, are you awake? Are you okay?" shouted Jade in concern.

Clearly barely conscious, in response, the man's coughing intensified for a few seconds before stopping.

"Ugh..." he g.r.o.a.n.e.d while breathing in difficulty.

The moment the masked ninja, alongside at least another two dozens ninjas, stepped outside the warehouse, even though they've all seen and had numerous experiences, they still felt their hearts turn cold the moment they got to the scene.

Bodies, dead bodies everywhere, with most of them mangled and badly disfigured.

Standing at the middle of the corpses was a figure in a black overcoat, with a silver mask covering his upper face.

Somehow, despite the bloodshed, this person remained untainted by the blood of his victims as he stood there, akin to an unparalleled king that had trampled upon the bodies of his enemies, radiating an invincible aura.

At that moment, that figure turned towards them as they felt his cold, indifferent eyes, sweeping over them.

*Tap, tap, tap.*

As the sound of footsteps woke them up from their nightmare, what came next was hell itself.

.....

Bang!

The loud sound of a metallic gate being dented open reverberated within the quiet and gloomy warehouse.

Raising their heads, the disheveled Jade, and the already conscious tied-up man, turned their attention onto the gate-less entrance which illuminated the dark warehouse with sunlight.

Standing before the open entrance, Skye threw away the two bloodstained heads that were in his hands as he walked towards the dazed and still-trembling little girl.

His eyes focusing at Jade, Skye immediately embraced his sister for the first time.

"It's okay, everything's okay now," whispered Skye in a soothing voice. "I promised that I would come right?"

Hearing the familiar voice and his words, Jade woke up from her disoriented state as she asked in a shaky voice. "Brother? Is that you?"

Clearly traumatized by what she experienced, Skye nodded his head and patted her back. "Yes it's me, you did well Jade, you did well."

"Brother!" at that moment, Jade finally broke down as her tears fell down like waterfalls.

She hugged Skye tightly as if she was scared that he would leave. "Mother and father... That man, that man said something to me earlier... is it true?"

Although he knew it was inevitable, Skye's heart still plummeted despite being prepared for it.

"Yes, they've passed away."

"No...no..." Crying in grief and loss, Jade shook her head in denial. "Sob sob..."

Skye didn't stop her as he let her continue crying while patting her head.

Right then, his eyes sharpened to the point that they could cut metals; who knew what he was thinking.

"It's only us now, little sister," he said. "From now on, we'll have to take care of each other okay?"

Meanwhile, outside the warehouse,

Natasha and Sharon, who both were ahead of the reinforcement from S.H.I.E.L.D, stood dumbstruck as they stared at the dead bodies of the Hand's mercs.

They could feel the still-present dense killing intent in the area, and they could smell the stench of fresh blood that had dyed the ground crimson.

Seeing the bodies, it was clear that the fight, or slaughter in this case, was extremely one-sided, and was an open, aboveboard fight, instead of sneaky assassinations.

Such a manner... the two couldn't comprehend how one person could bring upon such an unequaled confrontation.

"...how is this possible?" muttered Sharon as she shook her head as if telling herself to wake up from this dream that was too nonsensical to be real.

On the other hand, Natasha regained her senses quicker as she treaded over lightly, trying not to step on the numerous bodies.

A few seconds later, she then saw two body-less heads beside the destroyed gate that had left the entrance wide open.

Shifting her eyes, her gaze settled on the two figures of the siblings.
