A moment of silence passed by the whole house. For never in the history of "Terrarians" had such a thing happened - to be able to refine an almost broken sword - and not just any sword, a class S sword who belonged to the hero. Only legendary blacksmiths can do such a thing. And legendary blacksmiths only existed during the time of the Hero. After that, no one has been able to do such miracle.

"M-m-master…..this sword...if I'm not mistaken...t-this is.." the butler trembled.

"It has been lost for centuries ...but here it is" Cygnus said as he continuously shakes his head in disbelief.

Alex stared at his little sister for a while with a face that was neither jealous nor angry, but worried instead. Aquila noticed him as her mother's instincts kicked in. She gently stroked his head and placed her arms on his little shoulders.

"This is history happening before our very eyes." Aquila began. "Yes, it is amazing and this should be a cause for celebration...but...I hope that this incident can be kept hidden to anyone who doesn't belong to this family."

Everyone's face became serious.

"But, of course, madam!" exclaimed the head of the maids. "I assure you that this matter will not be uttered anywhere else."

Cygnus approached his wife and gently embraced her. "Yes, yes, you're right. We're getting too excited on things. We need to be careful."

"What are we gonna do with this sword then?" Alex asked.

"This should not be kept in our house or else, we'll be in danger. With the immense power of this sword, anyone would be sure to covet its power." Cygnus answered.

"Hmmm.. I suggest we sell it to the merchant's guild." Aquila suggested with her tiny little voice.

"But they'll know it came from us. They'll wonder how we got it, who refined it, they'll definitely question us."

"Hmmm.." and another moment of silence passed by.

To break the silence, Alice finally spoke up. "Mom, Dad, why don't we auction it under an anonymous name? Is that possible?"

"Yeah! That could work!" Alex seconded. "Plus, we can get a large sum of money from auctioning it. The Merchant's Guild has a very strict rules when it comes to sponsoring items so they won't leak out information of where it came from."

"And even if it happened to be leaked out, the sword is no longer with us."

"We'll be killing two birds at once."

"I agree. But we still need to be careful."

"That was brilliant little Alice!"

And Alice grinned with those remarks.

The next day came and Cygnus carried out the plan. He used his magic to dress incognito, with a big black cloak covering his whole body, and went to the Merchant's Guild. He brought the sword with him on his "storage crystal" - one of the common and necessity items for merchants. It works like a bag that has a large amount of storage inside depending on the crystal's quality.

When he arrived, he requested for the "secret room" before commencing their transaction. The head of the guild welcomed him and began appraising the sword. The head of the guild trembled as he appraise the holy sword. Just as the Caeles family weren't able to keep their calm, the headmaster almost collapsed. It took him a few minutes to calm himself. Once calmed, he offered Cygnus a "VIP membership" for free when it should have caused about 1,000,000 gil to simply register. It was a golden opportunity, with the auction commencing in a few hours, and so Cygnus, being a businessman, didn't refuse. Formalities were done afterwards, with contracts and agreements and such. A few moments later, all preparations were completed and the auction was about to begin.

Cygnus sat on the VIP corner that was elevated among the rest. His family attended the auction as well, dressed up wearing masks, to witness the bidding and they sat across him, just below, together with the common folks who were also wearing different masks to hide their identities. Alice was sitting on his brother's l.a.p and Aquila sat beside them, with two guards on each side.

After a few minutes, the host arrived and began the auction. They presented many beautiful and rare items while the people bid on what they liked. Moments passed by again and alas, it was time to present the most valuable item of the night. The headmaster even stepped in to introduce this special item.

"Good evening to all of my valued guests!", he started. "Tonight is a very special night. Why? Because we have been blessed by God to be able to witness once more that magnificence! Splendor! Power! And history! Of none other than….."

Dundundundun Dundun ...drums continued rolling...

"The one and only ...Hero's Divine Claymore!"

And in a second, he immediately unraveled the holy sword, protected in a glass display box. The whole crowd was bewildered at its very sight. For how could it be? A sword that has been long lost, now in front of them?

"Yes, yes, I know what you're thinking. Even I, couldn't believe myself. But an anonymous man found it, yes! And I… I appraised it myself! I thought my eyes were deceiving me, but there it was… standing in front of me, the magnificent sword." the headmaster continued his story. "I even tested it if its glory was the same as it was and behold!"

Some servants came up the stage and prepared themselves to cast magic.

"I tried it with all the elements and it neither break nor got any scratches. Look and see!"

The servants then, threw balls of different elements to the sword - fire, water, ice, wind, thunder, earth, sand - but none worked.

"I also tried different weapons to tests its toughness and non was able to break it or damage it. Even the diamond swords!"

And the servants demonstrated his words. They all attacked the sword with different well-known weapons across the land… but none was able to even scratch it. With that, the crowd grew even wilder.

"With all that, I am in conflict with myself… for... how I should price this... historical, and very indestructible sword?"

The crowd grew silent.

"10 million gil!" one of the masked crowd shouted. People and beastfolks sitting near him were all astounded.

"15 million!" another bidded.

"20 million!" and another.

"21 million!"

"22 million!"

"25 million!"

"26 million!"

One after another, people placed their bids leaving the Caeles family flabbergasted as they witness the price gets higher and higher and higher. The bidding won't stop until one of the crowd shut them up.

"100 million gil" said a tall man wearing white vest and a dark blue cloak, with blonde hair and blue eyes, and a face fully covered by a black mask. He stood up as he spoke and his posture was very refined.

No one dared offer anymore than what the tall man offered. And so, he won the bid. He took the holy sword after all the sales formalities and contracts and quickly went on his way by "teleporting" leaving no opportunities for anyone to tail him. His body vanished into thin air as soon as he finished paying.

Taxes and fees aside, the Caeles family was able to earn a massive amount of...

90 million gil.
