My Boyfriend Is A Campus Bad Boy

Chapter 57 - 57: Time To Set You Free

After he left Sandra, Sebastian searched for Halora. But she was nowhere to be found in the entire hall. The crowd gathered into the exit and it was difficult to sneak into.

He rubbed his head in anger but little did she know, his mother was standing on his back while whispering to the woman next to her.

"I would like to introduce to you Selene, Sandra's mother. She's been asking things about you because her daughter likes you so much!"

"I don't like her, mother. I'm sorry, but I'm in a hurry! Let us talk once I got home with Greg!"

Honestly yet disrespectful, Sebastian ran away from them. Selene widened her eyes as she said, "Such an honest young man!"

But deep inside, she felt heartbroken as if she was the one who got rejected. She giggled bitterly, "He's quite handsome and I know why Sandra fell in love with your son."

"I am really sorry for his behavior! I... I've been trying to convince him to l– look for a girl while he's still young!" Sarah Woo reached for her hands, squeezed them gently as they both watched Sebastian running away from the covered, grandiose hall.

Sebastian suddenly went into the wide field, hoped that he would find her. Unfortunately, there was no shadow of her as the place was only surrounded by couples and groups of students who took photographs.

He hissed, glanced up above the dark yet starry night.

"Sebastian!"

"We've been searching for you around! By the way, where are you heading to? You looked devastated." Andy slid his hands on his pocket. He wore an ordinary black shirt with a jacket on his shoulders.

He looked at Sebastian's furious eyes, silently, he stared at the badass young man stood before him. "J–just tell everyone that I can't join you this midnight. I have something else to do aside from it."

"Is that so, really? Because as far as I know, you will see that girl again. Why? What for? Why are you doing this to her, Sebastian? Don't you know that you're going to change her life?"

He may be sounded like a big brother but at the same time, a little bit offending. Andy was a powerful young man with great ambitions and personality. He was a frank, straightforward type of man.

Andy gasped for air, cleared his throat, and said, "Stop giving signs of fake affection to her. You are just destined to break her heart into pieces."

Speechless and guilty, Sebastian chose to be quiet. It was not his intention but the people around him misunderstood his actions.

"I have to go. They're must be teasing Robbe again. Call me if you need something."

Despite his cold behavior, Andy still cared for him. As Sebastian's friend, he wished only the best, the righteous things to be certain.

Andy slowly turned around on him, his shoulders shivered until Sebastian called him by his name.

"Andy!" He gulped, stared at his glinting emerald eyes. "I'll keep your words in mind but my intentions are pure and real." His deep, cold voice gave goosebumps to Andy.

All of them knew about his parents' wealth and popularity but no one had ever thought about his family's hidden identity.

By that moment, Andy has no other choice but to leave and went to Yong's house. He shook his head back and forth as he never saw it coming.

Sebastian has unexpectedly changed. He was once a cold, merciless young man but the moment he transferred to another school and saved that girl, he became a man with feelings, values and sentiments.

And eagerness led him to find her again. But darkness plagued the entire place, making it more difficult to see Halora.

Sebastian cursed to the cold, howling wind as most of the students went back home with their friends. He started worrying about her and decided to go to the school's exit eagerly.

As he walked fast, he noticed guards scattered throughout the entire campus. They were searching for students who hid inside the school premises in the middle of the cold night.

They inspected every corner which students could stay and hide. Sebastian took a heavy breath, walked closer to one of the guards who was alone, "Excuse me, Sir! By any chance, did you notice a girl wearing a pale pink dress, with a long, straight ginger–red hair and brown eyes?"

"I didn't, but we are checking every place to ensure your safety." The guard replied. Sincerity has drawn to his weary, exhausted face but he managed still the situation. "And why are you still here? You should go home and let us search for the girl you've been looking for."

Sebastian quickly shook his head in disagreement. He won't rush home without Halora with him, "No! I– I have to see her! Don't worry, I can handle myself!" He told the guard who looked at his cold, mysterious eyes for a second.

The young man's stare hypnotized him as he let him wandered around the campus. "Hurry up and bring her back home!" The guard told him while he tilted his head in agreement.

Sebastian went to the school's gymnasium, cafeteria, and Halora's classroom but she was nowhere to be seen. He pulled his hair in despair and thought of a place where she would always visit.

But time passed by so quickly, it was quarter to midnight still, he was stuck in the middle of nowhere. And most of the students was successfully passed the inspection of the school's security team.

Until the head of securities found out that there were three students still on the campus. Without a doubt, they quickly moved and took immediate action.

While the guards searched for them, Sebastian suddenly remembered one place he hasn't checked yet. He breathed deeply as he ran into the school's garden filled with worries and excitement.

"I hope she's still there, waiting for me." He mumbled before he reached the garden. But the excitement he felt quickly vanished from the moment he witnessed a horrifying scene.

He never thought of it but Andy's voice flashed back to his head. "Perhaps he's right– I... I need to stay away from her life for good." Sebastian whispered until he met Roy's gaze.

He looked surprised but instead of telling Halora, Roy looked away as he savored the moment with her. From afar, Sebastian saw how happy she was with him, her eyes glowed in darkness as if she was contented with what he has.

With a fake smile on his lips, Sebastian stooped, picked up the rose from the garden, and looked at the starry night once again.

"It's time to set you free, Halora. Maybe this is the perfect moment to give Sandra a chance." He gasped, threw it to the ground as he walked away from that place.
