My Boyfriend Is A Campus Bad Boy

Chapter 74 - 74: Made My Day

A silent night brought peace to his mind and soul. After a long, tiring day, Sebastian caressed his temple as he stood in front of the gigantic window.

He stayed for a long moment since they left the room next to them. But he looked bothered, eager to go back to give something to Hauora.

But he has no choice but to stay with Sandra who fell asleep quickly. She embraced all the pillows and thought it was Sebastian who hugged her tightly.

"I can't stand here all night and keep it with me. I must go back and give to her!"

Inside of their room, there was a big paper bag inside of his closet. He kept it away from Sandra as he knew, she would tell his mother about it.

He never wanted to be scolded again so he took a move if she was not around.

Eagerly, he stepped into his closet, took the paper bag, and walked silently without disturbing the young girl who slept peacefully on the bed.

Sebastian's efforts of waiting for almost two and a half hours didn't go to waste when he, fortunately, went out from that room successfully.

He took a deep breath, fixed the collar of his sleeve, and walked to the room just a few steps away from him.

"Huh, I hope she will accept it." He closed his eyes, looked throughout the peaceful hallway before he knocked on the door.

Yet, no one came and opened it for him. He tried for the second time but still, the same thing happened.

He was about to dial her phone number but he remembered that Halora forgot to bring her phone with her. "Damn it!" He cursed, put it back inside of his pocket.

"I'll hit her head for keeping me wait for this long!" He mumbled, leaned over the door for the moment until...

"Hmm, should I keep these? I think this is the reason why they suddenly fell into sleep." Halora talked to herself as she read all the information written on each bottle.

She shrugged off her shoulders when she found out that all ingredients that were used in producing were all safe and passed the requirements and laws.

"Forgive me, but I need to throw these to the trash bin. I... I don't want to get drunk too like Roy and Sandra!" She put it inside of a big plastic, set it aside, and cleaned the table by herself.

Little did she know, there was someone who had been waiting for her. She didn't hear any sound that came from the living area because of the soundproof glass that blocked in the middle.

She sang her favorite song until she finished with everything. She stepped out, opened her arms widely, and felt the cold wind that blew up her hair.

"But in the movies, every female lead did this too but their hair– forget it! I don't want to be insecure!"

Disappointment has drawn to her face as she locked the sliding door. Halora put the untouched food back into the kitchen and brought all the trash into the big trash bin.

Unfortunately, it was when the hotel's cleaners checked and changed everything earlier. She gasped, carried out the small plastic with her to the door.

Every step she made became in slow motion. Her long, frizzy red hair drifted by the wind but she continued and never cared.

She stopped right in front of the entrance, held the doorknob enough strength, pulled it hard enough and the next thing that happened was unbelievable.

"Oh! A– am I still alive?" She said, blinked her eyes when she felt something warm on her back.

Halora couldn't see clearly when her eyeglasses fell to the ground. But, the moment her hands moved onto the floor, she had realized that there was someone on top of her.

"W– who are you? Why is it that you're on top of me, huh!" She exclaimed, began to panic, and hit the man's arms until he put her eyeglasses on that made her stop and speechless.

At that moment, her eyes widened, her heart skipped a beat when she saw the young man's cold face that stared intently at her brown eyes.

She gulped, hesitated to utter a word but she earned enough courage and said, "I– it's you!" She exclaimed but he remained silent and serious.

It was only an incident that usually occurred but for Halora, it turned out to be magical, rare, and genuine.

She felt like she was in a movie where she had the chance to stare and hold her beloved hands long enough to satisfy her soul.

But the truth was opposite to the world where she lived. She then looked away from his sticky, meaningful gaze and avoided misconceptions and false hopes.

"But what are you doing outside of our room? You... you should have knock on the d– door!"

"I did but you didn't hear it." He coldly said, stood up, and didn't help Halora.

She quickly stood by herself, picked the plastic from the ground, and bowed her head before him, "I cleaned our mess earlier, and I didn't notice that you were outside waiting for me."

Halora asked for his understanding but she knew he will never appreciate it. After the grand coronation night, he suddenly changed and turned back to his usually cold, mysterious behavior.

But she accepted the truth that she has no right to know more about the man who had saved and changed her life.

Sebastian remained silent. He stood a meter away from her, "Here, before I forget to give it to you."

"Wh– what it is?" She asked.

But he looked straight to her scarlet face and replied, "Why don't you open and see it with yourself."

Halora giggled suddenly, gently hit his arm which made him stopped and felt something strange within. His heartbeat shifted, his mood changed because of her simple gestures towards him.

Out of nowhere, Sebastian touched his chest and tried to stop it. But it was too strong, genuine, and aggressive to endure.

Sebastian waited for a second while she opened his present to her.

Happiness flaunted her face when she realized that it was the same as the dress she wore earlier. Her heart filled with joy and was overwhelmed by his sweet, secretive gestures.

Out of the blue, without their expectation, Halora dropped the plastic of garbage, smiled genuinely that turned her eyes into a thin, plain line.

"Thank you so much! You just made my day superb!" She whispered into his ears as her hands encircled around his neck, tightly and tender that made him speechless.
