My Boyfriend Is A Campus Bad Boy

Chapter 95 - 95: Can't Make It Tonight With You

After a long, long dramatic scene, Halora decided to leave. She told him that she wanted to take some rest as she didn't sleep well last night.

But deep inside, she was still in pain. Her body said everything that she had felt the moment she read those messages earlier.

Every word flashed back to her head as if it was a long, good piece for a monologue presentation.

Halora covered her face with pillows, rolled over the bed while Roy cooked something for everyone downstairs. He had planned an interesting game for all of them but he sensed that there was something going on between Halora and Sebastian.

After he finished cooking, he quickly ran upstairs, called each one of them. But there was a strong energy that dragged his feet back to Halora's room. He tried to resist, walked back to the kitchen but he had failed.

"D*mn it!" He cursed, rubbed the back of his nape as he has no choice but to obey his body. "Alright! Alright! We're going to her room!"

He spoke to himself like a crazy young man. Every step he took was life threatening until he saw Sebastian who came out from his room.

"Hey dude, it's time to eat!" He said, gave him a bitter smile but Sebastian didn't utter a single word nor nod his head.

He then gritted his teeth, turned back and watched his back from a distance. "What a spoiled brat!" He exclaimed, and walked into Halora's room furiously.

Along the way, the door suddenly squealed and a young girl wearing a fitted baby blue shirt came out with a frown on her face.

She looked emotionless, tired and exhausted. Her eyes filled with nothing but somnolence, "Halora! What's wrong with you?"

He quickly ran towards her way, stood beside her as she waited for an answer. But, he only heard a sign of weariness than a smile of excitement and joy.

"Hey, you're too quiet. What's bothering you? You can... you can tell it to me anytime!"

"I am tired. I just want to stay in my room the whole night." She replied.

He has something to say about but he knew, she was not in the right mood for it. Instead of making her laugh, Roy sighed heavily and walked with her silently.

When they arrived downstairs, the entire dining area became too dull and gloomy. Sebastian and Sandra arrived first than Roy and Halora.

"Before we start, lets pray first." spoke Sandra with a short smile on her lips.

By then, Roy pulled the chair for Halora before he seated next to her. He scoffed, clasped his hands until Sandra lead the prayer for the first time.

But while they were praying, Sebastian secretly stole stares at Halora. He gulped, quickly drank half of the cold water when she bit her lip suddenly.

His forehead was sweating profusely, trying to ignore her alluring face until Halora opened her eyes and met his gaze.

"Ahem!"

Sandra caught their attention, but Halora shrugged off her shoulders as she knew, she did nothing wrong.

"Here, eat this to boost your immune system." said Roy as he put some vegetable salad to Halora's plate. "Do you want something else?"

"I want some rice, please." She said.

But, Sebastian was the first who held the bowl of rice. He then pulled his chair back, stood up and was about to put Halora's plate when she moved her chair away from him.

"I change my mind. I don't want rice anymore, but thank you for your effort."

"Oh sorry! I thought it was Sandra's plate!" He told her that made the other girl burst into laughter.

But Roy glared at Sandra angrily which stopped her from giggling like a crazy girl. She covered her mouth, looked at Halora's epic reaction.

"Thank you, I didn't expect such sweet gesture from you." Her hands rested on his arm as if they were truly in a romantic relationship.

In return, Sandra took the bowl of vegetable salad, scooped two spoons and put it into Sebastian's plate.

But, his face was still emotionless. He just tilted his head, took the fork from the table as he started eating silently.

Halora secretly stole stares at him and felt a little bit guilty because of the way she reacted to his actions. She knew they had a promise to each other, a deal to be keep in mind always.

But she never understood herself. Since she read those messages from Sandra, she doubted Sebastian's kindness towards her.

She thought that because of guilt, he was trying to repay all the pain he had caused to her.

Halora put down the fork and spoon, reached on the glass of warm water as drank all of it like she was thirsty for almost a year.

She sighed, wiped her mouth with a clean, white cloth and she said, "Excuse me, but I can't make it tonight with you. You can enjoy the bonfire without me but I am really sorry for my absence."

"W– what do you think? Should we continue with our plans or withdraw it?" Sandra asked the two boys who silently listened to the girl's opinion.

Roy shook his head in disagreement, while Sebastian rubbed his chin gently as he said, "Not because we're not complete, we can't make our plans happen. With or without her, we will be having a bonfire session after dinner."

Out of the blue, Haora was dumbfounded by his answer. She thought he would make a best alibi to stop everyone but he didn't.

Instead of showing some hint of weaknesses, she giggled bitterly, looked at his blue eyes for a couple of seconds. She said, "He's right, you can enjoy the remaining time without me. I hope you will understand."

"Halora!" Roy tried to stop her but she was certain of her decision.

She was not feeling well and that was the truth. She felt too cold as if the surroundings were covered with a think, terrible snow.

Her head ached too much as if it was being hit by a hammer. And her entire body became too weak, and drained.

"I'm fine, Roy. Don't worry about me, I'll be staying in my room for good. Enjoy and don't forget to record everything while I'm gone." And that was the last thing she told to Roy before she ran back to her room with a long, heavy breath.
