My Boyfriend Is A Campus Bad Boy

Chapter 96 - 96: The Evil Witch

The night was brighter than the other day. Millions of stars twinkled, shone to the sky which gave happiness to the tourists who stayed outdoor for a bonfire.

The round like moon brightened up above the clouds and brought a strange, magical effect to the people who admired the moon so much.

It was surrounded by a yellowish color, like a gold and diamond that had keep it glowing even in the dark.

"Full moon is yet to come," spoke Halora who watched it from her room. She opened the window, moved her body closer and stayed in that position for an hour.

She saw fire from a distance, people's loud laughter, strumming of guitar and some people sang different songs that was best for a beach vacation.

"Hmm, such a handsome bad boy who betrayed me!" She murmured, put her hands on her chin as she controlled herself from smiling.

"But why I don't have anything to do with this feelings? I felt too vulnerable, a fool who quickly entrusted his words without trying hard!"

She grabbed her long, ginger red hair but it didn't change everything. She will never had the chance to run away from the boy who both gave her life solace and pain.

And there was one thing she needed to accomplish with. Sebastian must be taught twenty four seven if it's needed to achieve the desire score before the school year ended.

If that thing will happen, she will be rewarded a half million of dollars, enough for her studies and daily expenses until she found a better, regular job after college.

She sighed, combed her hair with her fingers. At that moment, she suddenly remembered that awful, dangerous night in the deep forest.

She was lost in the middle of the forest when she was five. Her parents looked for her but her feet brought her to a breathtaking, unimaginable old castle.

Halora quickly shook her head, tried to divert her attention. It was quiet effective when she didn't feel the same way as before.

She then caressed her chest, slowly walked away from the window. She wanted to go outside of her room but the pain on her head became too unbearable.

"Ahh! My head!"

Halora stopped at the middle of her room when she felt dizzy and whirling. She hurriedly closed her eyes, caressed her temple as she hoped it would lessen the pain she felt.

"Oh mother and father! Please take this pain away from my head!"

"Please, I just want to enjoy the rest days of our trip." She almost begged as she slowly fell into the floor.

A warm, bizarre feeling embraced her from behind which brought her back to the old, good days with her mother. It calmed her system and she was certain that it was her soul who suddenly took the pain away from her body.

Tears ran down to her rosy cheeks when she embraced herself tightly. She closed her eyes, savored each moment until a sweet, genuine voice whispered to her ears.

"To reach the highest level of happiness is trusting the people who truly matters in your life. Don't fear your fears, don't run away from your problems, instead, face it with courage and when the right time comes, you will succeed in every battle you take."

A warm presence slowly faded when she widely opened her eyes. Halora tried to stop it from leaving but...,

"Don't seek love, let it reach to you and for sure, that destined man knew your name already." It was the last words she heard from someone's voice until she noticed a bright, glowing thing under the bed.

Confusingly, she crawled out closer to it but unfortunately, it slid down from her hands. The glowing thing moved into the corner, that urged her to look for a long, thin stick.

"Huh! I can't believe I am being fool with such a simple thing!" She mumbled, carried an odd broom stick she saw out of the blue.

"Come on! Come on! Show yourself to me!"

And by that simple command, the bright, glowing thing suddenly floated under the bed as it slowly moved closer to her.

"W– what is happening? W– why it is suddenly fell under the bed if I left it in my room?" Surprisingly, she opened her palm as the magical ring rested on it.

It was warm, light to wear and it seemed like searching for its owner– Halora.

"How did it get into my things? I am quiet sure that I put this ring on a sealed box and hid it in my room. H– how come that it's find a way to be here with me?"

The ring suddenly turned into a magical one. The glow that came from it was different and gave light to the entire room.

Suddenly, someone knocked on the door repeatedly. Her heart stopped beating when she felt frightened of.

"W– who's there? T– tell me your name and I will open the door!" She screamed, wore the ring as she put her hand at her back.

She waited for a moment, but no one answered. "Tell me, who are you? Why are you after me? What do you need from me!"

Her voice were devoured by fear as the ring continued glowing. It seemed like giving Halora a warning that something bad will happen.

She stepped back, held her breath when she saw the window that was left wide opened.

But before she could close it, a strong, howling wind blew up her away that caught off her guard as she fell into the floor.

"Hahahaha, do you really think that you can run away from me?" spoke a woman from behind. Her voice was deep, creepy like a witch. "I know you know the reason why I am here. If you want to see your friends again, you will do everything in return."

"W– who are you? What did you do to my friends? Tell me! Tell me what you need from me!" Eagerness had lead Halora to danger. Her mind was poisoned by the fear she felt.

She felt the strange, strong presence that came from the woman who suddenly appeared out of nowhere. Secretly, she turned her head around, caught a glimpse of her until she was taken aback and quickly covered her mouth in terror.
