My Idol Is A Vampire

Chapter 4 - The Masters

Areum was nudged when they arrived.

"Hey, let's go. They're waiting inside," St. Van said.

Narae only nodded.

When they got to the mansion, all she could do was stare at the building in awe. It was a mansion straight from the 18th century from France.

St. Van opened the gigantic door and gestured for her to go inside.

"Don't worry. I will be next to you. Don't worry," Van said.

After entering, they went directly towards the living room.

As soon as she laid her eyes on the men that were waiting in the living room, her heart began beating wildly.

"Boys, your bride is here," Van said.

As soon as she heard the word bride, she turned towards Van who was currently standing beside her.

"Bride?" she asked.

"Yes. Being their bride is your ultimate mission in this lifetime. You have to serve them well, this is your way to save mankind," Van explained to her.

Everything was happening so fast. She didn't expect this to happen.

"You forgot something to tell her," the one behind the bar said.

"Oh, you're they're prey. Don't worry, the government told them not to kill you," Van smiled.

She horrified. A prey? What are they? Monsters? She thought.

The one who has been standing beside the window approached her with a smile, his fangs showing. She took a step back.

"Haha, don't be too nervous. My name is Ziu," the man smiled.

He really didn't need to introduce himself, in fact, all of them doesn't need to introduce themselves. She already knew them.

"Ziu, she's a fan," Van said while loosening his collar. "This is so damn hot to wear. I'm going to change for a while. Don't you guys do something stupid to her while I'm away. Alright?"

"I'll keep an eye on her. Don't worry, father," Ayno teased.

"Call me father again, I'll send you back to hell," Van warned before going upstairs. "I don't want to find bite marks on her neck or anywhere on her body, got it?"

They all nodded in response.

"Wow, I never a bride could get this lucky. You didn't expect it to be us, right?" Baron said who was sitting on the sofa, casually drinking his wine.

"W-What a-are you?" she asked as she took a step back.

"Well, what do you think?" the one who was lying on the longer couch said.

"Are you monsters?" she asked.

"Well, that's what kids call us. But, can't you be more straightforwardly specific?" Baron said, showing a slight smirk on his face.

"You're vampires?" she asked, her voice merely heard.

"Mhmm, do you know what we do?" Baron asked as he slowly made his way to her.

"Baron, stop scaring her," Xiao said as he entered the room.

"Aysh, hyung. Why are you even here?" Baron asked as he sat back down on the sofa.

"Well, our father asked me to manage you guys again. Van couldn't possibly handle all of you now since the tribute is already here. Zehan and Gyeoul will be joining us momentarily, but they will not be joining your entertainment hobby," Xiao said as he poured himself a drink in the bar.

"We really don't need another babysitter here, hyung," Ayno said as he leaned to Narae who was clearly scared to her wit's end.

"Narae, right?" Xiao gestured to Narae and she nodded in response, disregarding Ayno's comment.

He took a sip first before turning to his younger brothers.

"I'd like you to introduce yourselves properly. All of you are raised properly, show her some proper manners," Xiao said.

"Do we really need to do that, hyung?" Ziu complained.

"Yes, especially you. Your mother had expressed her disappointment with your current hobby but nonetheless, she will agree to it if your stupid hobby makes you happy," Xiao said.

Xiao Hunter, the eldest of the Hunter Family. He's the one responsible for his brother's mischiefs. He's the one that would actually clean up after his brother's mess for the sake of the family's reputation. He is known to be strict with his brothers, he was also responsible for disciplining his brothers. But he disappeared without a trace for more than half a decade because their father had made him into his right-hand man, but now, he is back to ensure discipline within the Hunter siblings again.

Xiao looked at the frightened Narae. He felt a little pity because after all, she's still a 16-year old girl and became the Hunter siblings' prey in just a day.

"My name is Xiao Hunter, I am the eldest of the Hunter siblings. Pleased to finally meet you," Xiao said, raising his glass. Then he gestured Baron to be the next.

"Hi, I'm Baron," Baron said as he bowed to Narae to mock his own brother. "Happy?" he added.

"Quite so, brother," Xiao said as he stirred his drink.

"The twins, Zehan and Gyeoul aren't here, Jacob will introduce himself first. The twins will be here momentarily," Xiao continued.

"Hi, my name is Jacob," Jacob said as he slightly raised his hand without taking his eyes off the book he was reading.

"Over here, name's Lou," the man behind the bar said.

"Name's Ayno by the way. Guess you already knew that since you're a fan," he said.

"I'm Ziu, the youngest of the Hunter siblings," Ziu said.

"Alright, now it's your turn Miss Narae to introduce yourself. I believe it is only good manners to introduce yourself after we have introduced ourselves properly," Xiao said while taking a big gulp from his drink.

"H-Hi, I'm Chon Narae," she stuttered.

"Don't be nervous. I'm here to keep their fangs off your body because the last time a tribute was here, don't worry, they didn't kill her, but they drove her to madness and eventually suicide and THAT is why I'm here. To prevent you from killing yourself. A tribute is a gift us, vampires, should take care of, not to be someone's toy. But it is a tradition for centuries that once the 5th full moon rises, you should choose one of us as your husband," Xiao explained.

H-husband? she thought.

Seeing Narae's reaction, Xiao continued speaking.

"A tribute is a special human that has the blood of the purest maiden that has been passed down by centuries," Xiao turned towards his brothers. "THAT is WHY these bastards should keep their hands off your pants and their fangs off your neck and I will make sure of that."

"Your elder brother's right, you know," Van said as he came down from the stairs.

"Special? There's nothing special in her. I mean, look at her," Ayno said as he pointed to Narae.

Narae was simply a dressed, a shirt and a worn out pants paired with a pair of blue doll shoes. But her beauty was far beyond any normal human girl, her thick long eyelashes with her deep set of grey eyes, her almost perfect nose, her lips that were very irresistible and her hazelnut brown hair that was just flowing freely on her back.

"Well, I have to admit, she's kinda pretty. I mean, if she could dress more pretty, she'd be beautiful," Van said as he looked Narae from head to toes.

"And the one thing that makes her special is her blood. Her kind of blood is only produced by the offspring of a vampire and pure maiden. Her blood is nowhere to be found on normal humans," Xiao said.

Oh.

So that was why she was special.
