Every morning was the same for Xiang. But today, it was different. The one who he fell for, was staring at him, waiting for him to wake up. Suho greeted him with a smile and said, “Good morning. Hope you slept well”.

“Good morning!” said Xiang and then snuggled up against him. He then asked, “Are you leaving soon?”

“Not yet. I have a meeting to attend in the afternoon. Until then, I’ll be at home.”

“Then, do you want to go to the grocery store with me? We don’t have anything at home to cook with.”

“It’s troublesome. I’ll stay at home. You can go.”

“Hey. Has anyone ever told you that you’re the lamest person one has ever met?”

“I get that a lot. Anyway, thanks for the compliment.”

“you!…I can’t win over you. Anyway, I’ll have to cook breakfast a bit fast since I have to head to the headquarters today. Then I’ll….”. Before Xiang could finish, Suho tugged him by his arm and said “Don’t sulk. I asked my housekeeper to buy some groceries. It’s in the kitchen. And your clothes are washed. You can wear those after you take a bath.”

Xiang immediately got up, showered, got dressed and then went to the kitchen to prepare breakfast. Suho then came down and said “Xi. I have to talk to Han Li on the phone now. I am going to be upstairs for a while. Try not to make any noise and don’t open the door for anyone.”

“OK!” said Xiang and continued to cook. The only thing that went on his mind now was about the photo frame. The way Suho snatched it and ignored that topic really disturbed him.

“What could have been in the photo that made him to not let me see it?”, “Should I ask him about it?”, “What if he gets mad?”. He questioned himself again and again and finally made the decision to let Suho open about it himself. He didn’t want to add stress to their relationship as it was still a fragile one. Even though he loves him a lot, he doesn’t know if Suho loves him at the same level as him. He knows that he needs to take it slow and not rush things. Just when he was about to finish cooking, his phone rang. It was his secretary.

“Doesn’t he have a day off today? Why is he calling me suddenly?” thought Xiang. He then picked it up.

“Isn’t it your day off Cheng mu? Is it something important?”

“I have sent you a picture! Quickly see it!”

“Hey. Is everything alright?”

“Just do as I say! Quick!”

“Ok, Ok. Wait a second”

Xiang then saw the picture that he sent. Xiang started to tremble.

“When did you take this?”

“Just now.”

“Are they still there?”

“Yes!”

“Where are you now?”

“I’ll send you the location. Please be quick!”

“I’ll be there. If they leave, try to follow them. I’ll try to make it as fast as I can!”

“Yes. Be careful on the way.”

He immediately hung up the phone. He then rushed to find Suho’s car keys. When he found it, he took a piece of paper and wrote “I had to leave under some circ.u.mstances. Breakfast is on the stove. Also, I have taken your car. I’ll tell my driver to send you one of my cars for now. Take care.”. He left it on the kitchen counter and left.

While Xiang was driving, his head was all messed up. But he was clear about one thing- his eyes didn’t lie when he saw Suho’s mother and Adam together in the car yesterday, because the picture that Cheng mu sent was, they meeting up.
