My Marriage To A Mute Alpha

“I am agreeing to get married. I want to find myself a person who will stay with me for my entire life.”

Both his parents gasped and didn’t say anything for a while. They then said, “Xiang, we’re so happy for you. Can’t believe my little angel had come to the age of getting married,” said his mother.

“My baby boy who I had held in my arms all this time is going to be held by another person. I am so sad!!!!” said his father while laughing, that Xiang had to hit his father on his head so that he would shut up.

“You guys made me agree to the marriage, but who am I going to get married to?” said Xiang while chuckling.

“Xiang, we already looked up some partners for you and had narrowed it down to the most perfect one,” said his father.

“Wow! I never thought that you guys were so fast!”

“It’s the groom’s family that asked for you first.” “They are our family friends, that our family has known for several generations, even though you have never seen them as they moved to China last year from America.” “They came back after their son’s treatment in the US,” said his mother.

“Treatment?” asked Xiang while moving close to Mrs. Shi’s side.

“The thing is tha…that…um…ah…” stumbled his father.

“The thing is that he is mute”.

There was complete silence in the room for about a minute and suddenly Xiang broke the silence by saying, “So, what happened after the treatment?”.

“It was unsuccessful. The doctors said that it would be difficult for him to get cured.”

“So, who is this groom we’re talking about. He seems to be an interesting person.”

“You may have not seen his family, but you might know who he is.”

“so, who is this guy?”

“Even though he is a mute, his intelligence is beyond expectation. He took over his family company when he was just nineteen and now, he is twenty- five and the company is at its peak now, only because of him.”

“What is his name?”

“He is none other than Suho, Suho Lee. The only son of the Lee family, the most respected Alpha family in Japan and the chairman of the Lee group of companies.” said his mother in a proud tone.

“He is the most handsome man that I have ever seen other than my son!” she chuckled.

“The Lee family?”, “Now that’s a surprise!” said Xiang, while looking astonished.

“But Xiang, are you not bothered by the fact that he is mute?”, asked his father while looking confused.

“I was quite shocked at first. But his inability to speak doesn’t define his character or personality. Regardless of the fact that he is a mute or not, he will treat me the same way in both cases. So, I am okay with that. But the thing that bothers me is why would they ask me to marry their son, instead of others?”

His dad said, “Actually, we went to meet them when they visited Japan. We showed them your Photo. And my god, you should have seen their expression. Mrs. Lee was like ‘He is my son in law. I have decided!'”

Xiang chuckled and then became serious and said, “Can I see his photo?”

“Be prepared. He is a dominant Alpha. The first look at him is powerful enough to make your heart flutter! Here is a photo of him.”

Xiang kept silent for some time and kept on staring at the photo. “Are you guys sure that he is a real person and not someone who jumped out of an anime?”

His parents laughed at his reply.

In the photo, Suho looked like he was hand-drawn to perfection. His smooth hair that was as black as charcoal, his lips so smooth and red that you would want to kiss him at first sight, his dashing eyes that sparkled like heaven, his perfect physique, and his smooth shiny skin and to end, he is a dashing devil in disguise.

“My god. He is indeed pretty!” said Xiang while blushing to his heart’s content.

His parents teased him till they cried. Suddenly, the phone rang.

His mother went to pick up.

“Yes, this is the Shi family. And you are?” Mrs. Shi answered.

“Oh, it’s you, Mrs. Lee!”, “What! It’s about the marriage?” ….
