Mysterious Martial Cultivator

The sect has a variety of ways to ensure disciples experience the world filled with dangers while cultivating. A greenhorn can never expected to be a match for a veteran even his cultivation level is much lower. Of the many ways that the sect trains its disciples, the easiest is to have make them hunt for magical beasts. Disciples are taught till they reach Martial Student stage and learn techinques before they can experience their first mission. An elder disciple generally occupies a younger one to help those young seedlings in the case of unexpected danger. Such a practice is carried out for 4 times before the disciple is left to their own devices.

Li Tian had been training with his master for a whole month. The gruesome torture followed by the enjoyable time cultivating has helped him to advance to Martial Student 3rd level opening upto 32 meridians in his body. He felt that he was close to breaking the fourth level and officially stepping into Martial Student mid stage.

He had seen his master’s attitude towards him change and wondered the reason for it. His senior sister Shangun Mengyao who always cared for him would blush red and became fl.u.s.tered when he came close to her. He did not know why she had become like this but the other female disciples would also keep their distance from him. The stories of his perverted nature had been spread thanks to a certain someone while he had no idea about it.

He had wanted to go together with his senior sister now it felt like maybe he had to ask master for help.

Shangun Bingying was wearing loose night clothes that did not cover completely her b.o.o.b.s and almost transparent pajamas. She was lazily stretching her arms in her room while her b.r.e.a.s.ts jiggled up and down when Li Tian barged into the room. The sight of the sect master- her half exposed b.r.e.a.s.ts and stunned him into silence. Li Tian would usually sleep at around this time while the sect master would come to wake him up for his morning torture, however, today being the day for his mission he had not slept thus even though it was dusk, he came across a sight that stimulated something that was hidden deep inside his heart. A voice from his soul spoke to him “Claim her! Lay claim to those b.r.e.a.s.ts! Tear open those transparent pajamas! Explore her forbidden region!”

Li Tian stood there in a daze while the sect master was stupefied seeing him here. She quickly sent him flying via an icy wind and quickly changed her clothes.

“Why did you come here?” She spoke in a majestic tone, with a face flushed with anger in a way that she had never spoken him to.

“Se-Sect Ma-Ma-Master I had a miss-mission to–day but none of the el- elder disdisciples wa-want to go wi-with me” Li Tian stuttered his way to complete the sentence.

“With all the training that I gave you, why would others accompany you leave now and come back after you have collected at least 3 peak class 2 magical beast” Shangun Bingying commanded.

He quickly left like a prisoner escaping execution while the scene of the s.e.xy sect master kept playing in his head. As he crossed the icy tundra and came across the magical forest, a dark brown shadow appeared on the path he was about to cross. The dim light did not hinder his eyesight as he was capable of seeing the surprise attack. The creature was 3 meters tall with dark shaded fur, four nimble limbs and a horn on top of the head. There was an inscription on the top of its head.

Magical beasts in the planet can be categorized into officially 10 categories. The Class 1 magical beast do not have much power and can be defeated by normal humans provided they have good weapons. Class 2 are equivalent to Martial Apprentice, Class 3 equivalent to Martial Student while Class 4 equivalent to Martial teacher. Class 5 equivalent to Martial Ancestor, Martial Lord being the counterpart of Class 6, Martial King was the opposite number of Class 7, Class 8 matched Martial Emperor. Class 9 was peer to Martial Saint and Martial God could be said to rival Class 10 magical beasts.

Magical beast absorb Xuan from the air and store it in their core. Their bodies become tougher as they absorb more and more Xuan. The changes are not limited to tough physical bodies but wisdom and skills as well. They learn about their heritage as they wise up as if the information was always part of them. Many magical beasts can turn human through their way of cultivation though it depends on the type of species at what level they can show human transformation. Some are able to turn human as they reach level 7 while some might have to reach Divinity to gain human forms,

Li Tian had heard of only legends of Martial Saint and Martial God. It is widely believed that the highest cultivation in the entire human kingdom to be Half Step Martial Saint today. Legends speak of the founding ancestor of Ancient Phoenix Sect to have reached the legendary Martial Saint Realm. However, he had fought the Elves High Priest resulting in mutual death and bringing an era of peace for the humans. The elusive Martial God is only a legend spoken in the canals of history, so far none have been said to have reached a level where they can claim to be Martial God according to sect records.

“An initial Class 3 magical beast?” Li Tian couldn’t help but let out a surprise cry. He had a solemn face for it was his first battle against a wild magical beast. He had seen domesticated magical beasts and even the grey bats cannot be called to have ever been in a position of taking his life. However, now he had to fight it to death and claim its magical core to proof he had killed it. The magical beasts of class 3 were not just physically stronger than class 1 and class 2 beasts. Some also possess a skill which can be useful in killing their human or magical beast counterparts.

The monkey let out a menacing cry as it surged forward to Li Tian. The sharp claws looked like they were ready to cleave the human into pieces. Li Tian had cold sweat burst out from his skin pores and trickling down his backs, as he prepared the azure sword that he was gifted by the sect master. The moment he showed his back and tried to run away would be his death thus he was positioning himself in a sword stance.

As the claws came close to his waist he instinctively dodged and used the azure sword to cut the head of the monkey. The monkey moved of its claws in the way of the sword but the power in it was enough to throw the monkey out of balance.

The monkey swiftly go up and charged again, and attacked ferociously again with an increase in speed. Caught off guard Li Tian was unable to use the complete power of the sword to throw the monkey down, instead he tumbled and the sword in his hand dropped from his hand. Suddenly, the monkey released a glaring light from his horn and his pupils shrank. For the first time in life he felt a danger that might end his life.

At that moment, he suddenly felt, the energy in the body fill up to the rim unlocking another meridian, he could see the monkey attacks much clearly. He had broken through to Martial Student 4th Level in the middle of the battle.

There is a big difference between level 3rd and 4th of Martial student as you cross from the initial stage to the middle stage. Your body goes through a magical change as you feel the air around you more clearly, the eyes can see more details and further than it was possible before.

He picked up the sword from the ground and slashed the horn from the top of the monkey in one go feeling surprised with the movements of his body. Taking an attacking posture he slashed continuously until the monkey was riddled in holes and fell to the ground. Its body twitching uncontrollably while let out miserable howls of pain.

He ended the misery of the monkey and took out its core. Li Tian looked calmly around him, trying to find out whether there were other magical beast close by before climbing on top of a tree and sitting comfortable on the branch. He had accomplished somethings that was higher than the original mission but he wanted to try out his sword skills properly without being nervous. He thus took a rest calming his nerves before venturing further into the magical forest.
