The man before him was a legend amongst legends. From the start of his life to the end, he lived the Life of a warrior and then emperor. He made the greatest empire the world had ever seen from scratch, producing legendary talents every decade.

This man was one the men he looked up to and seeing him up close was surreal.

Ghoul inspected the boy before a smile grew onto his pale face. "I see my son in you. If you are anything like him. The fate of our race will be left in in capable hands."

Zhong Yi could hear an echo of the same words in his mind like an incantation. While his silhouette faded leaving behind a magic cube glowing with violet light at the centre of the altar.

The great pride in being entrusted with the restoration of the Sacred Ghoul race and the empire was invigorating to Zhong Yi. It felt like he was given a new purpose in life.

After he found Kana, what then. Ancestor setting a task like this for him was the push he needed to throw away all the doubt he was feeling. But the pressure now resting on his broad shoulders were massive.

"I swear on my honour, that I will do my absolute best and give my all to revive the Sacred Ghoul race in these lands. To make our race more prosperous and stronger than we were before. To exterminate our enemies and to restore the glory of our race." Shouted Zhong Yi

As loud as he could, as if he wanted his voice to be heard by the deceased ghouls.

With a gleam of determination flittering across his eyes, he grabbed the violet cube with the tightest hold he could muster. The cube started to glow. the luminous light escaped through his grip and brightened up the surroundings.

The light grew more and more intense until he subconsciously closed his eyes to protect them from the blinding light.

The feeling of wind c.a.r.e.s.sing his skin and the rustling of the leaves in trees, made him aware where he was.

He appeared back in the small opening in the forest, surrounded by massive trees again. Zhong Yi was happy with the familiar surroundings even if he had only been here for a couple of minutes.

Even without cultivation, Ghouls could still fall back to the strength of their bodies. With it being at stage 3, which is the result of being a royal otherwise it would only be at stage 1-5. But our protagonist doesn't know this.

What he does know is that the Heaven awaken world was essentially its own universe, governed by its own set of rules. The system and quantifying abilities are just one of the different rules that are available to those of this universe.

The cultivation technique, Royal Sacred Origin Scripture, was only available to the Emporer and crown prince because fighting strength was a large factor in the Sacred empire. Being powerful was a must among the upper-echelon of the empire. Talent and intelligence came in pairs to Ghouls. So the empire was able to flourish with smart individuals running the empire.

With the cultivation technique in hand, Zhong Yi couldn't wait to cultivate again. The feeling of breaking through the ranks was amazing and Zhong Yi had a faint inkling that there were other levels above stage 9.

He was also told by the system that the world was filled with various beasts and other races. Coming from a race of foodies, The idea of being able to taste different species and monsters was enough motivation to make Zhong Yi conquer this world and more. But for now, he had to make an empire.

"Not yet," said Zhong Yi, he had been in the same spot since his arrival and didn't know if this place was a good place to start his empire.

After a few hours of searching, Yan Zhong Yi had chanced upon the perfect spot to place the beginning of his empire.

The place he found was a horseshoe-shaped mountain range. A Large river cascaded down the largest mountain to the north forming a lake, attracting wildlife from all over to quench their thirst. Tall trees occupied large amounts of the area perfect for making buildings and a lot of animals to eat.

This place was a great start and Zhong Yi was happy to find it.

Zhong Yi was suspicious of how strong the heaven awaken world was compared to his own. The creation power alone was enough to make it stronger by comparison. Being able to make villages and there was definitely more of the sought, made the heaven awaken world countless times stronger than his homeland.

"Yes." Said Yan Zhong Yi in anticipation.

Ripples of light started to come out from the violet cube before a formless energy covered the surrounding 1 square kilometre area. In the next second, all of the trees, grass, and flowers disappeared, revealing flat and smooth ground.

Buildings started to slowly appear. There was a thatched cottage with two rooms and the name [Village Hall] above the cottage. There was another thatched cottage with a furnace and a flag hanging outside it with the name [Smithy] above the cottage. There was also a thatched cottage with many simple clothes inside it with the name [Tailor Shop] above the cottage, as well as a thatched cottage called the [Medicine Shop] with all sorts of bottles filled with medicine.

There was also a round stage made from bricks with the name [Origin], and another thatched cottage with five stone steles and the name [Profession Change].

As he watched the scene before him, He trembled in excitement. All this would help on his journey to make an empire more stronger and prosperous than the one he grew up to know off.

After these buildings appeared, figures also slowly formed before Zhong Yi. The two people standing at the front were both youths. One had a cold and handsome appearance, while the other looked refined and cultured. They seemed to be brothers by how similar they looked.

Behind them were two men and one woman. One of the men was well-built and muscular, looking like a blacksmith, while the other was dressed like an apothecary. The woman was quite pretty, and she was most likely the owner of the Tailor Shop

What stood out about all of them was their pale skin. It as if they had never seen the light of day and their white hair, the same clear white shade as Zhong Yiswas before, emphasising their ghoul heritage.

While still white, his hair had dark purple highlights. Their red-eyes was a lighter colour like Zhong Yis as before his transformation.
