Nine-Tailed Fox

After Zhao Yufei absorbed the mutant blood cores she went for the library. It wasn't too hard for her to find it. She had bought a map after she came to the city.

The Library was a big building. Its structure was like a temple in ancient greek. It was in the center of the city and every building has been built around it. In front of it, two guards were standing.

While Zhao Yufei was walking toward the door, the guards stopped her "put your hand on this crystal." They looked strong and even talked strong.

Zhao Yufei put her hand on the crystal and the crystal changed color to a bloody red. While the guards saw the color of the crystal, they shook their heads and bowed politely "we are really sorry. If you need anything just say it."

Zhao Yufei didn't know what was happening and Mimic wasn't available so she thanked them and went to the library.

"We should inform the master. She is special."

While Zhao Yufei had gone, these two guards whispered to each other and one of the disappeared.

"How can I help you miss?" There was a receptionist in the center of the hall.

"I'm here to learn history. Would you mind show me the way?" Zhao Yufei asked as politely as she could. The receptionist stood up and said, "follow me".

"First I need to know about this world and its structure and second about its creatures."

Zhao Yufei planned all she wanted to do. The went to row one and searched its shelves.

"History of Ancient" - "Ancient Structure" - "Life of Ancient". These three books were the most accurate and best source. She knew how to chose books because she was a professor after all. It was her habit to choose books.

Ancient was a universe, it had many stars and many planets with many forms of life. This universe shaped by a battle between gods and demons. Back then there just two kinds with a planet called utopia.

But a battle took place in that perfect planet. The king of gods fell in love with the empress of demons. But some gods and some demons used this opportunity to break the peace.

The power that war created made the foundation of this Ancient world.

"Every creature that now exists is a bloodline of those demons and gods but some legends say that there is a unique bloodline called "Fallen". Its source is that mysterious power which created this universe but there is no proof or evidence." Zhao Yufei was amazed. It was like a big bang theory but somehow like fairytales.

In this universe, many creatures lived. But only six of them had names and the other was the mutants or their offsprings. Demons, Dragons, Ghosts, Giants, Furry, Splash and the Mysterious Fallen. In the books, they mentioned six but the Fallen were the seventh which showed that they may or may not exist.

The life of these creatures was dependent on their cores, their source of bloodline and every core had a specific element of water, fire, wood, metal, earth, and blood.

People may have multi-elements but there was a limit and it was rare. Every core may have only 3 elements and they had a level from ordinary - primitive - mutant and sacred depend on the level of cultivation of the keeper of it. And for God's core, no one knew.

People in this world had many jobs. Some were hunters, some were warriors, some were ordinary people and lived within cities. Hunters hunted cores of creatures except for the six bloodlines. Warriors protected their countries.

Now Zhao Yufei knew why the guards asked her about who she was. "According to this book and Mimic I am a hunter and for my core and element, I should be a demon with a sacred level core. Or else how could I kill those two Demons?"

After Zhao Yufei read these books she realized every information she had read in those books was vividly clear in her mind. Every word and every mark. She used to memorize things on earth and she was food with it but this was on a whole another level.

Zhao Yufei wanted to go and find some techniques. After all, it was so good and fascinating to learn and become powerful but she didn't do it. Firstly she didn't have much money and she wasn't sure when she may go on a trip later and secondly Mimic told her that she will give her a set of techniques specifically for her.

She stood up and walked while red the name of the books and suddenly found herself in front of row twelve. After looking at the books, she found them glowing with blood-ish color. It was mesmerizing, at least for her.

She reached her hound to get it, Suddenly "you are quite special as guards described. Would you like a cup of tea or a coffee or perhaps a better one 'blood' ?"
