"This pain isn't much, I've experienced worse. And didn't I said before everything will change after I cultivate soul energy", Liu Ye replied with a faint smile.

"haa.. the pain isn't much?? and when did you succeeded in soul cultivation?", Qin Yu had a weird expression on her face when she heard his reply. She couldn't understood how that extreme pain isn't much, she herself experienced that pain when she is in the body tempering realm and when did he reached 1st layer in soul cultivation.

"You should have paid attention to me! and can we continue this talk after I take a bath?", Liu Ye said as he looked down, his appearance isn't good looking after the expelled substance is stuck to his skin and with the smell of the sweat.

"Okay", she replied when she looked at him up and down. She can ask the questions later if she wants.

It's past midnight, he decided to go to the nearby stream.

"aan.. Why are you coming with me?

I am going to take a bath you know? or

do you want to take a bath together with me?", Liu Ye asked with a big smile as he saw Qin Yu got up and ready to follow him.

"Are you an idiot ? It's dark outside and don't you know the activities of the beasts in the forest increased in the past few days. Do you think you are safe just because you became a cultivator?" Qin Yu glared at him, her cheeks flushed, angered with his question.

" ha ha.. Okay", he stopped talking when he saw her getting angry and pushed the door open and started walking in the direction of the stream.

The market place is lit under the street lamps, slight chill is spread in the desolate street. The small trees on the roadside are swaying to the strong wind. There is a mixed scent in the air from all the shops in the market. The sounds of random footsteps can be heard as city guards patrol the city in the darkness.

In the city some guards are patrolling with attention, some are reeking with the smell of alcohol, while some are snoring on a stool at the side, and at a corner some guards are gathered around a fire and discussing daily matters and life, drinking alcohol.

In the lonely night three silhouettes are walking towards their destination in the marketplace. The three people's face is hid under a hood and one of the three is wearing the badge of the city guard.

They walked all the way to the end of the market place and stopped in front of a small shop. Its the small shop where Liu Ye sells his herbs.

"You, quickly open the lock without breaking anything", the person with the city guard badge ordered the man on the other side.

"Sir, you can rest assured there won't be any evidence, haven't you brought me here after checking my records, believe in me", the second person patted his c.h.e.s.t reassuring the guard.

"Stop talking and quickly open the lock", the guard pushed him in front of the shop.

After a few moments the lock was opened.

"Sir it's opened and about my prison sentence", the second person asked eagerly.

"Okay, okay we will decrease it", the guard said and turned towards the third person.

"Brother Chen, if you please", the guard asked respectfully to the man stood on the side.

"Okay", the third man replied indifferently.

The three of them entered the small shop.

"Brother Chen, have you checked before you brought everything ?", the guard asked again to confirm.

"What's there to check, this is a small shop selling ordinary things, I can replace these things with the waste from my garbage. You are wasting my time for this small task dealing with a small shop", the third person sneered as he started replacing some herbs in the shop.

"Brother Chen, you know this task was given to us directly by the city lord and we are going to pay you rich for this small task", the guard replied politely and there's a look of envy in his eyes as he thought about the payment.

After sometime they completed their work and left the small shop.

The street rested in silence once again, as if no one was here before.

The stream is flashing in silver as the rays of moonlight fell on the surface of the stream. By the side of the stream, under the shade of a big tree a handsome outline stood as he is surveying the surroundings and watching a man taking a bath in the stream.

"He seems to became more attractive!", Qin Yu exclaimed as she saw Liu Ye coming out after taking a bath and drying himself.

After Liu Ye changed into his clothes he came to Qin Yu.

Under the silver beams of moonlight, his skin glowed with a soft l.u.s.tre. As the cool breeze passed him, his dark black hair moved side by side and back and forth, with a faint smile he looked quite handsome.

"Let's go", stabilising her thoughts Qin Yu said.

"Okay", Liu Ye replied.

Silence filled the path as they walked to their home.

Inside the house..

Liu Ye sat on his bed as he faced Qin Yu who is on her bed. In this small house they decided to have a combined bedroom with separate beds.

"Now say to me, when did you succeeded in soul cultivation and how could you cross all those layers at once?", Qin Yu asked with a straight face as she looked at Liu Ye seriously. She was interested to know this answer for some time, knowing Liu Ye's body condition she was in disbelief with everything that happened today.

"Since we are married and living together, I think, I should just say this straight without hiding it", Liu Ye replied with a calm expression on his face.

"What do you mean by hiding it?", her curiousity increased when Liu Ye uttered the word hiding.

"In simple words, I was reborn", Liu Ye said with a faint smile.

He doesn't want to hide it, since they are living together, this part of him she can guess it or will be known to her sooner or later in the future.

Rather than lying to her now and wait for her to deduce the matter, its better to say the truth. It will be easy and comfortable revealing this to her and he can keep using his system with freedom by saying they are his abilities and continue to cultivate and increase his strength.

"Whattt.. do you mean by reborn?", Qin Yu asked in doubt, she couldn't understand his reply.
