If I were asked who was the luckiest person this year I would've without hesitation say it was Lucinda. Her luck this year was quite astounding, she was marked by the tree and increased her potential. She also increased the size of her vessel and became far more stronger than before. After so many lucky chances her luck had to run out but during a fight with a Dragon king her luck showed its full potential. When the dragon king tried to use dragon breath again, Lucinda quickly dug a hole using plant manipulation and escaped explosion by diving deeper.

Explosion was quite scary as it left a deep crater as deep as the three soccer stadiums stacked on top of each other and as long as ten soccer fields. To get out of this range was impossible with just a normal skill. It also requires great amounts of luck. But sadly I think that this lucky incident drained her luck away as even after such a big explosion he was still alive. The area was covered in dust and nothing could be seen. But an ominous aura was leaking out and even thought you can't see, you can feel a terrifying presence.

Dragon Kingdom represented many things to the intelligent creatures that lived around it. And one thing it represented the most was a fear. If asked what was the peak predator in this world eleven out of ten creatures would say its a dragon. If someone was ignorant and knew nothing of a dragon he would say it would be a Wyvern. Dragon and a Wyverns both garnered respect as the strongest creatures and what made the Dragon Kingdom so fierce was that it was a place that those monsters lived in.

But today the Dragon Kingdom represented something else for a particular race. The peak predators known as Wyverns were now viewed as preys for that race. Just after the dragon king left. An army arrived before the kingdom. Army comprised of race known as Great Apes. This wasn't their first invasion not even their second. For Wyverns fighting Apes was just like a daily routine. When seeing gigantic army Wyverns were excited and readied themselves. But soon their enthusiasm died down as one by one Wyverns started to fall down, entering eternal sleep.

The Wyverns that we're viewed as a top predators only inferior to the Dragon himself were now dropping like flies. And so the fight between races ending with zero casualties on the side of the great apes and complete extermination of the warrior Wyverns.

Even thought all the Wyvern Warriors collapsed the ape army didn't retreat or move forwards. They just stood at the entrance of the dragon kingdom(just bunch of caves). They stood like that for few minutes and after that from an entrance cave(cave where you have to enter to enter dragon kingdom) an individual exited. He was one of the most prominent members of the dragon kingdom. He was one of the most trusted aides of the Dragon king. An ape traitor known as Judas. Judas came forward towards the army and kneeled before the leader. He kneeled and said, "Your highness you came here too? Your highness you have to know that king never has to be in frontlines. King's life is worth far more than its subjects and you just can't be here. What if our plan failed and Wyverns came attacking you! Who let his highness here, I will kill you and all your family members!"

Hearing those words the leader slapped Judas's face. The leader looked at Judas and said, "Silence! How dare you belittle me like that! You think some measly Wyvern could hurt me! I'm the King of all apes and of course as the king I have to lead them. Leading my subjects that's the essence of a king! Now lead the way!"

Hiding his malice ape named Judas smiled and said, "As you wish your highness, please follow me!"

Judas entered the kingdom and led the army towards somewhere. When army was moving towards their destination many unconscious creatures came into their view. Looking at them king asked Judas, "Why aren't they dead? Didn't you poison them all?"

Judas smiled and said, " Dragon Kingdom inhabits many races. There are dragon like lesser creatures, and there are creatures with unique abilities. They're not that strong so they don't pose any threat. We already killed Wyverns because they were dangerous. These creatures pose no threat to us but could be great slave material. Far too many humans are starting to die of so we have to restock our slave numbers."

And just like that Ape army arrived before the biggest cave in the kingdom. When they arrived there all of them opened their mouth wide because what they saw was astounding. The cave entrance was impossible to get close to because a gigantic wall of terrifying flame stood there.

Judas stopped before the wall and said, "Dragon king is the overload of fire. In this world there are special fruits that have the essence of an element. Dragon king in his long life had tastes every fruit with a fire essence. No fire how terrifying it may be could hurt him. This is the wall of fire created by him and no creature in this world could cross it except for the dragon king!" After he said that he walked to the side of the cave and entered the cave next to the dragon King's. Ape king followed Judas and inside that cave Judas said, "It is impossible cross that wall but it's not the only way we could enter his room."

A big flower sprouted next to me and from its inside Lucinda came out. Her hand was still burned but looking at her I didn't see any more serious wounds. As I was about to tell her to run I heard a roar. Roar so strong that it blew away all the dust.

I looked towards the creature that produced that roar. In the epicenter of the explosion he stood. I smiled and said, "I'm sorry Arthur!"
