Overcoming The Beast

Leaving for his room Leon made it back. Entering his house he saw his mother was the only one home. He greeted her went to his room.

He took out the jem after making sure it was authentic he took out the chain. The chain was a rare spirit weapon Leon had remembered about when he saw the Clan head. It was the weapon he used most of his younger life. The chain was white in Colour. It was around five meters long. At one of the ends it had a curved blade attached. He kept it back into the ring as well.

He then left for the Everlasting smithy. Room seven was still being rented out using Mr Tang's money, he wasn't one to waste such kind gift.

Entering the smithy Miss Sasha greeted him and took him to his room. While others watched in puzzlement.

"Hey do you know who that is?"

"No, I wonder why Miss Sasha is treating him so nicely."

Back in the room he took out the rest of the ice ore he had left. Using a standard arrow head mould, already at the smithy, he forged two hundred ice arrow heads.

Then the wind ore is taken out. Using it he created five hundred arrow heads. As wind ore is less denser so there was a much higher volume of wind ore compared to the ice ore.

He then took out the fire ore and put it in the forge, he formed three low grade spirit rank swords, all a golden color similar to the one before and even a mid grade spirit rank sword that was a much more prominent in its golden color.

He was able to form a high grade human weapon. It was a sword fading from gold to silver, it gave out very small halo of fire as Leon brandished it then kept it in his spatial ring.

Leon then took out the Fire Sealing Chain. Although the chain was a spirit weapon it could still be improved. Leon first took out all the Fire ore he had remaining and used it to reinforced the chain and reform the blade attached to it. He used another skill of Blacksmith's hammer: thousand Layer reinforcement. After all his hard work Leon kept the chain back into his spatial ring and left for the auction house.

At the auction house Leon found Willem and told him. "I want to buy some refined blood. All from fire beast. What kind do you have?"

Willem replied "most refined blood we get is sold to the Everlasting smithy in the town. We only keep rare blood to auction out. Although as a VIP member you can buy the blood earlier but at twenty percent above the market value"

"When are you going to auction the blood."

"In ten days."

Hearing the answer Leon said "Tell me what types of blood do you have."

"We have blood from the red soul beast the Fury Meteor Rabbit and the Cloud Fire Bird."

"You don't have blood from an orange soul beast." Leon raised an eyebrow.

"We do, it is the blood of a Fire Tail Bear. But we only have ten drops left, we have already sold most of it to other VIP members."

"Okay I want a kilogram of the Fury Meteor Rabbit and Cloud Fire Bird blood and all the blood from the Fire Tail Bear." Leon declared.

"that will be a hundred and ten thousand gold-"

"I also want all fire element type resources you have."

Willem was surprised by the tall order. He still complied "We have three types of pills in the auctions storage. We have around two hundred fire boosting pill, which helps in cultivating fire arts, fifty fire soul pill that reinforces the soul with fire and finally we only have one pill of the fire breaking pill, a pill that will help low level summoning apprentice instantly break into the next level"

Seeing Leon's unimpressed face Willem felt some pressure so he added "We have two types of fire elemental fruits. Four yang fire fruit and one hidden flame fruit."

Hearing the last part Leon was satisfied "Add twenty fire resistance and twenty ice resistance pills."

"If we take every thing into account it would cost seven hundred and sixty thousand."

Leon took out the money out. Willem asked his assistant to bring the blood and Leon. Getting every thing Leon went back to the Clan.

He went home to see both his parents were home. He told them "Mom, dad I told you I started practicing blacksmithing right? Through the help of Mr Tor I was able to rent a forging room for a few months. So I plan on training my Blacksmithing skills until the awakening ceremony."

Leon's father said "That is fine son, just make sure you try your hardest. If you need a teacher tell us, I will ask your Uncle to teach you."

His mother added "Leon just make sure to not over work yourself alright?"

"Yes mother, oh right I forgot, Mom, dad I was accepted into the Blacksmithing association!"

"What?!" They both said.

"Mr Tor said I was talented and got his master to make me an identity token, see." He then pulled out the token and showed it to his parents.

"This is wonderful Leon, quickly we need to celebrate David! Leon you can leave later right?" His mother asked.

"This perfect let's get preparing, Leon why don't you go and call Pace as well, he would be thrilled to hear such news."

Leon agreed and left to find Pace. Going to the houses near the tower Leon found Pace's house. He knocked and waited.

Pace's house was a mansion. Looking at the house Leon was curious who Pace's parents were. The door opened. It was Pace holding Fiona.

"Leon, come in. Looks you finally woke up."

"Brother I want to invite you to my home, we are celebrating me getting into the Blacksmith association!"

"Thats great! sure let's go. You got into the Blacksmith association? Amazing! Wait let me get something." Pace ran into his house and in few minutes came back with a box. He then said "I was planning on giving this to you when you manifested your soul book, but I'll give this to you now." He gave Leon the box.

Leon wasn't polite and opened the box. The inside held a sword. A pristine red, sharp and a straight blade. It was comparable to a rapier.

Pace said "You once said that you really liked sword, so I had the Clan Blacksmiths to duplicate mine. How is it?"

"Brother it is fantastic. Is was in need of a good weapon. This is perfect. Thank you!" Leon hugs Pace. Then they both leave for Leon's home.

At home Leon's parents had already summoned a bunch of beast. Other then the wolf and pixie, a Firey Fairy, Magma Rhino and a Flowingwater Sprite. Each running around fixing the house. The table was already covered in food. Pace also released his Soul book and summoned a Bird like beast.

Leon was actually surprised by it. Looking at it he felt a weird familiarity to it. Other then that it was a StarFire Peng. A strong beast of the five orangestar level, it was probably the strongest beast here.

The Peng was happy to see Leon it Flew towards Leon and rubbed its head against Leon.

"StarFire has been wanting to meet you for a while." Pace said, "But it had been evolving so I couldn't summon it earlier. Look it still loves you."

Leon petted the bird back. The bird happily cried then flew back to Pace.

Leon's father said "Pace good to see you, how have your parents been, They still haven't come back to the town I suppose?"

"Yes Mr David, They are at the FierceFlame city. They should be staying there for a few more months."

"If you ever need someone to talk to you can come to me and Sandra. Come on take a seat and some food."

After long hearty meal, everyone was stuffed Leon's father took out a bag and revealed a bottle with pills in it. "Son this bottle contains body strengthening pills. This will help you with your weak body. With this you should be easily able to awaken in four months."

Leon went with and said "Thanks dad, I know they must have been expensive so I will make sure to not let your hopes down."

"Great that's the spirit!"

After this they all helped out and cleaned everything up. Leon then left with Pace. Leon walked with Pace until his house said good bye then continued out the Clan.
