Overcoming The Beast

Leon had Diablo and Ariel explain everything along the way. After hearing everything in detail Leon was surprised.

"What could have happened? I don't remember something big happening around this time in my previous life. What did I change in this life? I revealed the teleportation formation near the Bloodling clan early, stole the spell book from the Bloodling library, I opened the portal to the Hell plane, thinking about I took someone else's place in the three continental competition, I-"

"The portal to the Hell plane! I told myself to forget about it to think I actually did!" Leon had Zen speed up.

Zen reached the border between the Fire Continent and the Nature Continent.

ROOAARR!

A Loud roar was heard from deep into the Fire Continent. Leon couldn't see the beast so he had Zen share its senses with him to show the beast.

Near Mount Vulcan a beast taller then the volcano stood, it had a humanoid shape and was made of flowing lava and rocks. The beast had its mouth open to show that it had just roared.

Near the beast were thousands of Council of Fire members with their beasts that were all on the floor injured by the force of the loud roar. One man however stood unaffected. He stood at the front with his back strong. This back had been holding the continent for decades it wasn't going to be braced by a roar.

The man was Helios, he stood on the ground above him was a beast made of pure fire. The beast was a humanoid with a similar.size to Helios, the beast had three pairs of arms and three had two extra faces in the side of its head. It was a Scarlet Arsura Helios's primal beast.

Leon had seen it in his past life. It was one of the strongest beast he had ever played his eyes on. Helios had showed it to him when he had trained Leon in the Holy flame tower at the Flamesmith clan.

Leon stopped looking through Zen's senses and said, "Looks like I really messed up, that giant beast was from the Hell Plane."

Leon looked at Diablo and Ariel, "You two saw the giant and the three armed beast, right?"

They nodded.

"Those beasts are both peak level beasts of the indigostar level. Watch the battle closely."

Leon then had Zen fly towards towards the Council of Fire building.

Near Mount Vulcan the two beasts fought.

The giant lava creature punched down at the Asura. The Asura easily blocked the attack with all six of its hands. It then pushed back and had the giant stumble back a little.

The giant then raised its hand and clapped. The ground around the Asura rose and was going to squish the Asura in the middle.

With its hands out the Asura held the two walls of earth apart. It had done so without a touching the walls, it was like it had invisible giant hands that blocked the walls. It also made sure that none of the Council of Fire members nearby were injured. It then used another pair of hands and blew the wall into pieces. Then with the last pair of arms it formed a circle towards the giant.

The circle caused the giant to distort and had a large hole form in its c.h.e.s.t. The giant was emotionless, the injury didn't effect it. It continued to kick towards the Asura.

The Asura blocked the attack and pushed the giant back into the mountain. It's small body held great strength.

The giant stumbled and grabbed the volcano to stabilize. The volcano shook with that earth. A landslide formed on it to the ground.

The giant also started recovering. From the ground lava and rock rose and settled into the hole of its c.h.e.s.t. The giant returned back to its peak state in a moment. It then looked at the Asura and stamped. Spikes rose from the ground towards the Asura.

Leon arrived to the Council of Fire. He had Zen shrink and unsummoned Diablo. He then summoned the Griffin and rode it in. He had showed his identity token and landed at the reception area with Ariel.

The reception was crowded as people ran about with tokens communicating. People were running in while others ran out.

Leon went to the desk, "I'm Leon Flamesmith the captain of the Maint team."

The person spoken to nodded, "It's good to see you Mister Leon, Elder Oren requested for a search party to go look for you but now you're here we can cancel that." He then took out some papers and looked at them, "Mister Leon, a mutated fire giant has appeared near Mount Vulcan, thousands of Council of Fire members are injured. You and your teammates have been given the duty to help the injured out of the battlefield for now. Your teammates have already left. You should get going there as well."

Leon nodded and left. He summoned the Griffin and started flying towards Mount Vulcan with Ariel sitting behind him.

As he got closer he could see the giant fighting. It's steps made the ground vibrate and each of its motions sent waves of winds.

The beasts around Mount Vulcan had disappeared. While flying Leon sensed a few strong beasts and guessed they had retreated.

Leon arrived to the sit of camp. Many injured summoners were being carried back. They were the soldiers that held the giant back until Helios could arrive. Leon saw Oren carrying three people whole his beast carried ten.

Oren saw Leon, he laid the men near the beast with an healing ability and walked to him. "Leon, you're finally here, go and help the others. Helios fighting the giant, and the High leaders should be arriving to help soon. Most of the Council of Fire members are injured and can't fight. So the situation is rather dire, they have to relay on anyone they can get to reduce casualties."

Leon had Zen come off his neck and jumped on the Griffin. Zen, disguised as a purple ice serpent, flew and used ice chains to pick people up. Leon grabbed a few and retreated. The area of the dead volcanic lands around Mount Vulcan was large. The ground wasn't even and their were many deep cracks and protruding rocks that hid people from sight.

Carrying people back Leon saw his other teammates as well. Even the substitute team members were here. They all did their best in helping. The constant shockwaves from the fight of the Asura and the giant would cause them to lose balance, so they had to be careful.

It took around an hour of clearing and every one had been taken away from the battlefield. The Asura had also gotten more offensive now that it didn't need to protect the injured behind it.

The stale mate started to break to the Asura's advantage. But the giant was almost immortal, it would recover all injuries, even having its head crushed.

Helios was also frowning as he watched the fight. He could something ominous. The giant had just appeared and roared at the Council of Fire. It then used an ability and sent meteors at cities far away. The attack was strong and had been barely been stopped by the Summoners at the cities. Council of Fire members came to stop it but were easily defeated. Now when he had arrived and started to fight it the giant didn't do much,It's attacks were strong but it didn't aim to kill the people being protected by the Asura. It was as if it's goal had been completed and was now stalling for time.
