Overcoming The Beast

Leon jogged with the tiger now as it was to small to ride. The tiger ran with pink flames on it's small paws. It would sometimes jump in the air and run afloat for a few seconds before it fell again.

"So your body is stronger, you also have better comprehension. But you clearly aren't ready to fight any beast. You barely have any control over your body."

The tiger and tail looked and Leon and shook their heads together both saying they had amazing coordination.

"Now you have the Fire element, ice element and a little bit of the water element. What do you want to focus on?"

The tiger thought for a moment and roared. It wanted to work on the dream element.

"You don't even have the dream element! I know your afraid of the Eternal Sleep rune. But you should be fine I already know where to find a dream beast. It's near Bloodsea city."

The tiger roared and started sprinting. Leon laughed and ran after.

It took about a few days of running and Leon and the tiger cub finally saw the outline of a forest at the horizon.

"That's the Flowing Blood Forest. Blood Sea City is closer now."

With the goal in front of it the tiger ran even faster. It even started to run on air before it jumped on to the nearest tree looking around for the city.

"Blood Sea City will still take a day to reach so slow down. We'll be spending the night here." Leon set up camp.

The Frost snake jumped of Leon's head and ran around a little it then looked at Leon with begging eyes.

"Tiger come here as well." He then took out the bottle with the ice crystal liquid and poured a drop for the frost snake to cultivate with and then poured a drop in his own mouth.

He took out hand full of NetherWorld ice and had the snake eat all of it. Leon then grabbed the tiger and said "We're going to cultivate the ice art. I can't give you the ice crystal liquid directly because unlike the snake you have the Fire element which is the complete opposite of the ice element."

"If your ice element grows to strong it'll destroy your flame element affinity. Right now you body is stabilised by choosing the best way to equalise the two. I'll give you controlled ice energy after I have purified it. It'll be easier for you to use and won't fight against your Fire energy." The tiger understood and nodded saying it was ready.

Leon started cultivating the Mystic ice art. He was on the peak of level two and was about to break through. The third level of purifying was the first of the enforcement levels making it harder to reach and go through. Leon also didn't have as high as a comprehension in ice arts as he did with fire.

In his past life Leon had contracted thousands of Beast from all elements. This had caused him to gain affinity for a lot if elements as well however this caused him to be a Jack of all trades and slowed his progress of the Fire affinity.

In his past life his highest affinity wasn't fire rather it was the mysterious element his first primal beast had. The affinity he had was insanely high. When he awakened his soul book its said the phenomenon that formed was large enough to cover the whole town.

His fire affinity however caught up as he couldn't train in the other element. It even grew past mysterious element becoming his new strongest. Other then those he had gained a high affinity for the ice element, blood element and shadow element.

From the three his ice element was the highest while blood and shadow were at similar levels.

However in this life everything was completely different. When he awakened his soul book he was able to feel his affinities. He was sure all the affinities from his past life had carried over. From the multiple elements he had all of them were the same as in his past life except the mysterious element. It was as strong as his affinity for the amazingly high fire element he had gotten after training.

Leon understood why. When his two souls combined there affinities were added together. Both his souls had an insanely high affinity for the Mysterious element easily making it reach a new high.

He was sad his fire element affinity had been decreased from both souls however. When he savers Pace's Peng the affinities were already connected, a combination of the two was sacrificed.

Affinities that a person is born with is much easier to train in then someone getting it through cultivation. That is why a lot of Leon's affinity were very low level even his highest none birth affinity, ice element, had only reached the scholar level.

Now that he had been born with all of them he was should be easily able to increase them.

His ice affinity had already skyrocket he couldn't tell the exact level it but it was as high as his fire affinity at the time of his birth in the past life.

Leon broke through to the third level. The Ice energy spun around the three.

"Perfect. I have reached Level seven of Summoning Apprentice." He looked at the two beast. "The Frost snake had reached eight redstar and the tiger had reached six redstar."

After going through the whole evolution, the tiger had its low cultivation reset. Leon had through out the travel while running although it was less effective it got the work done. He had already reached the peak of level six summoning apprentice. The Frost snake had cultivated the hardest among the three. It quickly broke through as it now got a constant supply of NetherWorld ice.

Leon got up and entered the Flowing Blood Forest.

The trees were tall with blood red color leaves. The bark was a murky maroon and had odd face like shapes incorporated into it.

"It was said that this whole place was formed from a fight between the Blood Emperor and another emperor fighting. This used to be a a continuation of the Desert. But the blood emperor's summoning beast died here. It was a Blood Demon Dragon. It released waves of blood that altered the ground and changed the climate." The three beast listened carefully. The tigers tail was also interested.

"So actually this is still the land of the Fire continent. The BloodSea City is built in the Fire Continent. It started like this. First saplings of deformed trees grew taller until they eventually formed what it is present day. The forest spread until it reached the blood continent that bordered the fire continent. The Round table of Blood took over the land and built the city. The Council of Fire couldn't do anything as they didn't have easy access to this land and felt the sacrifice wasn't worth it. They let the Blood continent buy the land. A treaty was signed and this place is a neutral zone for both the Blood Clans and Fire Clans."

In his head Leon was making other plans. I thinks the Blood Demon Dragons corpse will be discovered soon, I can't get all of it sadly but if I can get one bone I could awaken the Dragon Bloodline of the Frost snake.
