Overcoming The Beast

"This is the cave of a dead dragon." Leon said as he gave the beast a tour.

In his head he thought "This cave will be discovered around twelve years in the future. In my past life by the time I came here it was completely empty. But I knew how it was discovered. Because of the spatial shield weakening and made it so that a person was able to break into it."

The spatial shield separated the space of the cave and made it independent. It then acted as a shield as well stopping beast that could travel through space as well.

After weakening a human sized hole had formed in the shield. It was discovered by Ophelia the future Ice Queen and Flint the person who took the position of Flame Emperor.

They both had stumbled upon each other on the mountain. As it was war time between the Fire and Ice Continent Ophelia tried to kill Flint.

Flint ran away and entered the hole in space like a lucky bastard. Ophelia entered as well. Later on they both got married. What happened in the cave, no one knows.

The story had become popular in the two continents. It was spread as a way to convince the continents to stop fighting. Flint was a hero of the nation whilst Ophelia had become the princess of the other.

The cave was eventually excavated for everything of value. By the time Leon had arrived the cave was empty and more of a tourist spot, an evidence for the story.

Now he had arrived before everyone else. He was going to harvest all treasure. Is what he wanted to say. Leon would have to Leave soon. There were probably so many resources he couldn't even digest all of them.

Leon entered a largest hall. In it was an enormous throne. On it laid a sleeping Dragon. Even after dying its body hadn't changed at all. It looked completely alive.

All the beast had jumped and wanted to beg forgiveness, even Leon was surprised and he knew it was dead.

The Beast also realised its passing and They all breathed put a sigh of relief.

The Dragon was grand and the embodiment of ferocious. With spikes and sharp claws. It's size would have to be measured in tens of kilometers.

"This cave should have everything the Dragon stored in it till its death."

Dragons didn't use heavenly materials rather they just collected it.

Since entering the cave Leon and the beast felt like mortals. They easily got tired. Even through the Dragon was dead it still released a samll amount of aura. That was enough to completely suppress the Bloodlines and cultivation of everyone in the cave.

The Frost Dragon Snake was the least effected. It moved around glowing with energy.

Leon also couldn't hold back anymore. He felt he would be fine but as he stayed longer he figured out that the Drgon had comprehended the Law of Slow corruption. He would have to fight it or before he knew it he would die.

The slaughter qi appeared blazing like a red flame on him. Leon felt better. The chimera also released a large amount of sin energy and formed a lotus to protect it. The Blood Sparrow summoned the spell book then created a five layered shield.

After they all felt they had gotten a hang of themselves Leon moved forward.

He walked towards the side of the hall. They were filled with shiny objects to the thousands. All of them should be the rarest objects on the planet. Even Leon could barely identify a few.

In the pile of trasures he picked out a vial of Blood. It was white and gold Blood of the holy element.

"Pure Holy Blood, really is strong my Slaughter qi can't even get near it. The fact a Dragon kept it could only mean it caught its eye." Leon felt the aura of the Blood when he released the slaughter qi.

The hand that Leon held it in had the slaughter qi on it vaporize. Leon Called the Blood Sparrow.

"This should strengthen your Blood Line. Absorb it and start your evolution."

The Blood Sparrow carefully drank all the Blood. It formed into an egg and started evolving. Leon then moved with the other two beast to the corpse of the Dragon.

Reaching it Leon felt an enormous pressure. So did the beast. They felt like ants, if the eye opened any second now they would disappeared from existence.

"How do we gets its Blood?"

The chimera moved forward it shot shadow tentacles at it. However the tentacles just deflected of.

The Frost Drgon Snake however had a better idea it opened its mouth. and started chanting a spell.

Leon was happily surprised. He was thinking of waiting until the Blood Sparrow evolved it would then be strong enough to injure the Dragon using the Dragon Slayer magic it knew. But the Frost Dragon Snake had learned Dragon magic they don't have to wait.

A large sword formed out of Ice. The sword had exquisite design. It had a Dragon wrapping on the hilt and the blade coming out of its mouth. The Dragon was a ghostly Dragon as it was a translucent gray with black eyes.

The Sword starts falling. It accelerated to the speed of light as it clashed with the skin. A loud, Ting, resounded. The sword then hit the throne and pierced into it. Cracks spread out everywhere.

The throne was already made of some high quality material Leon couldn't recognize so it was impressive that it cracked. The Dragon however looked uninjured.

Leon and the beast were about to admit defeat until a blazingly strong aura burst and a red drop could he seen on its scales.

Leon laughed out hysterically he ran to the drop of Blood. He took out the vial that stored the Holy Blood he used it to capture the drop.

Leon looked at the chimera "Drink this drop and start evolving."

The chimera nodded. The snake head moved to suck in the drop into its mouth. As the beast closes to the Dragon it drank it. The chimera then jumped off the throne. It couldn't even control its evolution and formed into an egg in the air. It however landed safely as the egg didn't break.

Leon and the Dragon Snake waited. The wound was deep enough to release a few drops. After a long wait another formed. Leon fed it to the Frost Dragon Snake. It also formed into an egg. However the egg it formed floated in the air. The two eggs formed were red because of the red blood of the Dragon.

The Blood Sparrow was however in a white and gold egg.

Leon then waited for a drop of Blood for himself.

"This Dragon is beyond a Violetstar beast. What could have killed it?"

Leon thought. Finally the drop formed he stored it in the vial. Feeling the Blood drop in again Leon felt how heavy it felt for that third time. The drop had made Leon use all his strength just to hold it up. The Holy Blood had been so light he felt like the vial didn't even have a mass.

This made him really wonder. What powerful beast. Beast that were of legends.

Leon also drank a drop of Blood.
