Overcoming The Beast

Leon also formed an egg. In it he slept and bathed in the Dragon energy. He quickly broke through to summoning teacher level. He couldn't cultivate consciously or he could have entered the fourth Throne of the Nine Thrones Soul Technique or formed entered the next level of Formless Aura.

Leon woke up he jumped out. His clothes had disappeared. The Sect robe had been completely destroyed. Leon's body had been completely changed. He grew a head taller. His ha I turned a more pristine white. His eyes however were the same gray.

Leon snapped his finger and two soul books appeared and floated in front of him. One was red and burning, the other a silver, Black and mysterious.

"I can finally summon the other soul book." Leon waved his hand and sent them away. He saw the beast were still evolving.

The Dragon's wound had closed up. Leon however felt it was fine. He walked up to the place the wound was. A thin needle, probably an atom thick formed out from his finger. It was formed using the Dragon energy in the Blood. Leon used the finger to draw a tiny hole on th scale.

The scale had a circle come off. Leon then collected the Blood onto the vial. He collected a few drops. As this wound was wider it filled the vial a quarter full before it healed.

Because of the Dragon energy Leon's body had also grown stronger. That was the only reason his arm was still attached.

Leon used the eruption rune and jumped up into the air. He formed wings of Ice and then glided to the Frost Dragon Snake egg.

Because of the Dragon Blood his Ice affinity had increased again. He had gained a few runes as well. One was Ice Manipulation Rune which he used to form the wings to glide with.

At the Egg, Leon landed on top of it. The egg was big so Leon could stand on it.

Leon emptied the vial of Blood onto the egg except one drop.The blood was absorbed by the egg. Leon then quickly formed the Scryer's Blood Oath with the Frost Dragon Snake.

Leon them jumped off with the wings and glided to the Blood Sparrow's egg. He then gave the drop to the Blood Sparrow.

Finally he moved away and started cultivating the Mystic Ice art as he waited for the beast to complete there evolution.

He quickly cultivated to the fourth level and then broke into the did fifth level. As he did the Chimera's egg broke open.

A chimera landed, now bigger then before. Back to a two meter long. The snake tail was the only thing that changed at glance. It had grown much longer reaching around a five meters. It could still stretch out.

The tail had turned completely blue and thicker. It's eyes a blue as well. It eventually shrunk and just floated above the chimera like it always did.

The Goat head had its horn grow out and curl. It's eyes had turned purple with the whole of its head. The tiger head was still black eyed with white and gray fur. As the beast walked it released a string aura of pride. All three heads were held high and roared loudly.

"It evolved into a complete chimera!" Leon ran up to it and felt it's fur. He also felt the energy in the beast.

There were three energies- Evil, Dream and Ice. Ice was the largest in amount with evil and dream equal.

However the evil energy was the strongest. It had all evolved into the Seven deadly Sin energy of Pride. Although the ice energy had traces of Dragon aura. The sin energy was purer and so dominated the body.

"You're now are a genuine pride Beast. So what is your attribute."

The Chimera roared from all heads. A beautiful Black and white Lotus formed above its body. It slowly bloomed.

Leon had his eyes stuck to it. When the Flower completely bloomed Leon finally snapped out of it. He looked and couldn't tell its effect. The chimera disappeared and appeared next to him.

His head fell of his body and bounced on the floor. He could see his body still standing.

Leon suddenly woke up heavily breathing the chimera stood infinite of him smiling. Leon smiled back.

"That is an amazing ability even I couldn't see through it." Leon smiled more devilishly now. Slaughter qi burst out from his body. It formed a large demon head ready to eat a soul.

He then stared into the Pride Beasts eyes and said "If you ever use an ability on me again, I will make you wished you were never born." His eyes were of dead seriousness.

The Pride beast already felt scared however it still held itself up and snorted as it agreed.

"Good." The slaughter qi was s.u.c.k.e.d back in his body.

Leon internally thought "I actually felt killer intent towards me, although it didn't want to kill me it thought of doing so. The evil energy is changing it to much. Hopefully it will get better control of its body."

Leon started feeling nervous. He hid it but he was scared by the ability. He had been completely transported to a dream world with out knowing. The Pride beast could have killed him as easily as it did in his dream. As someone who lost control of himself he didn't want the chimera to lose control. He knew how you didn't feel anything. Nothing mattered. Even your own life didn't matter.

Leon suddenly had the thought "As it grows stronger, its pride will grow with it. Will it eventually become so prideful that it would rather die then be controlled by someone else?" Leon had a chill go down his spine. His instincts screamed "unsummon it, then never summon it again". It was like there was a later of fog surrounding shrouding the beast; Leon couldn't look through it. Even the Blood Oath couldn't close the gap. Something had gone terribly wrong in its evolution.

However if Leon stopped summoning it he would ruin the relationship forever. "If I show doubt in the chimera, it is more likely to scar the relationship." Leon grit his teeth and kept that beast summoned.

He moved on to his other beast for some solace.
