....Unfortunately, when he turned his head the balding man was already at his c.h.e.s.t with a knife in hand stabbing it straight into Daymas' heart. 

Soli gasped as she saw the blade drive directly into Daymas' heart, the old man however gave a slight smile, relieved that it actually worked and that he had managed to kill the person that had plagued the Snake Fang Gang for so long. 

Daymas stood there unmoving, the dagger that was in his body didn't seem like it had damaged him at all, the face of the old man changed as he pulled the dagger out from Daymas' heart, no blood was drawn, no damage was dealt to him at all. At the side, Zeno staggered for a bit before standing upright once again. 

"That charged my meter," Zeno mumbled to himself. 

"im... impossible! How could you survive that! It was a knife to the heart for goodness sake." 

Z, Odrunn, and Soli looked at the scene dumbfounded. A sense of relief washed over them as they felt that luckily nothing had happened to Daymas, however, they still stared on in confusion as they watched Zeno subdue the old man. 

"That's his manifest. Zeno's manifest is rather special, you could call it an augment type, but at the same time, it also requires a special condition to work. To put it simply, he can take the damage from one person and divert it all to himself, after taking damage he can augment his strength and speed in accordance to the damage he had taken he can choose the amount of damage he wants to absorb. But of course, having the full pain condensed into a split second is no easy task, it is a risk every time he uses his manifest, if he absorbs too much of the pain he will die. Zeno is already well trained to take the pain and for Lord Daymas, he is willing to give up his life at any time." 

Z nodded, it was indeed a bit of an insane manifest, one practically had to be a m.a.s.o.c.h.i.s.t in order to continue fighting like that the act of giving up a life in order to save someone isn't something anyone can do. 

The old man, now pinned on the ground lifted his head up as he shouted loudly to the people in the vehicle. 

"Come out and fight them now! there's only 6 of them, 3 of them are kids... get rid of..." 

Zeno shoved him hard on the ground knocking some of his teeth out as well as knocking him out completely.

The compartment that had already been opened swung open as 3 men jumped out from the vehicle all seemingly having warship levels of power and charged out. Peering at the back, Z could see the kids and Sandra bound and gagged at the back of the large transport artefact. 

The men came out of the vehicle and stood facing Z and gang as they faced off, ready for combat. Daymas took the initiative to come forward to prepare to speak with the trio in front of them. 

"Look, you've been caught with your pants down, on top of that your driver just tried to attack me. When we go back, there is no way we're not going to do anything to the Snake Fang Gang, so let's do this. How about you just give us the kids back and surrender, I promise that whatever we do with the Snake Fang Gang, you'll get mitigation because you've assisted us. Does that sound fair?" 

"Hahahaha, you're delusional, the situation has deteriorated to this point and you're telling us to surrender? Do you think we're dumb? We have 3 warship level fighters here, and on your end, you have 3 tank level fighters and 3 warship level fighters. But with one being full support, guess who's holding the advantage here." 

A man with white hair in the center of the trio started to laugh, he put his arms around the neck of the 2 other men and looked at Daymas cruelly, his attention shifted to Soli at the side as he started to speak yet again. 

"This babe is beautiful, I wonder if I can sell her together with the kids for a bonus. Maybe I can get more credits. hehehehehe" 

Soli raised her hand as a flash of blue streaked out of her hand shooting out an icicle directly towards the white-haired man. The icicle zipped through the air as it landed behind the man onto the vehicle with a thud. The man stood there unfazed looking at Soli more seriously. 

"So feisty, but unfortunately your level of power is nowhere close to being able to hurt me." 

Arel frowned as he watched the scene, he immediately spoke to Daymas relaying him the important information. 

"That's Ghostface, he's one of the Snake Fang Gang's lieutenants, they say he is the most proficient at assassination, no matter how hard the kill or the target is, there is no way he would fail. We have to be wary of him." 

"Ooh, quite informed are we, It's lucky I came along otherwise these dolts would have had their heads chewed off, but don't worry since I'm here, none of you will be leaving alive."

Ghostface retrieved a piece of metal from his pocket and tossed it to his underling, the underling picked it up, as his body started to glow with the sheen of the metal he had picked up. 

"Prepare for battle, underling 2" 

The other underling started to tremble as two more arms grew out from his back ripping his shirt. 

"I'll take Ghostface. Zeno, you try to stall the one with 4 arms, for the rest of you, try to take out the last one. Arel's manifest is not suitable for combat, but he'll analyze the situation and guide you all for battle."

After finishing his sentence Daymas rushed directly into the thick of battle, his c.h.e.s.t and arms turning into ice as he dashed forwards towards Ghostface, Zeno, using the power he had stored in the previous fight burst forwards and grabbed hold of number 2 as he jammed him directly towards the wall, the two exchanged punches as they started to rock back and forth.

 "Can you stop him from moving?" 

Arel turned to Z and asked, Z nodded his head as he shouted out. 

"Soli! Freeze his legs and immobilize him, Odrunn, grab hold of him tight, Arel needs to land a hit."
