Reincarnation: Love After Death

As she woke up, she still couldn't take away her thought into the man's sad smile. But she couldn't remember what he told her that moved her into tears.

That was strange. It wasn't a family member of hers, that she was sure of.

So who is this man? Why does it feels like he is somewhat important to her?

She decided to be more productive than to figure out who this man is. So she jumped out of bed and took a long shower. Taking a shower really do calms her nerves every time. As she finished showering, she looked at her walk-in closet to pick up her dress.

She took a sky blue halter top shirt, and blue jeans. She chose some comfy shoes. She's just going to visit her doctor anyway, no need to dress up so much.

As soon as she got dressed. She walk down the stairs and went into the kitchen. The house looks empty even if it is filled with updated furniture and appliances. Maybe because she's alone. The thought alone is so sad but she's used to it.

Her parents were all in Japan handling their business. She is their only child and she was now staying in America. Why? Because her parents were hoping that here they can find a cure for her illness. Or at least hope for a miracle that with the advanced technology here they can somewhat prolong her life.

She's just 20 years old after all.

But in someway she thinks to herself that it is better to die in Japan so that she can be with her family in her last moments. But her parents reject the idea of her giving up on finding cure.

She starts to accept her fate in terms of her illness, but what she can't accept is the constant loneliness she feels inside. As if there is something that's missing. If only she can determine what it is.
