Chapter 18 - Trial - II

"Brother! Are you okay?, Don't force yourself. If, you can't remember me."

Sheena immediately helped and checked Kim Shin in teary eyes. As, she slowly and carefully lay Kim Shin back on a straw pillow.

"T-Thank you."

Kim Shin thankfully said.

Laying down on the wooden bed, Kim Shin thoughtfully asked for a mirror.

"Uhm, Sheena, can I borrow a mirror?."

"Huh?, Why do you need a mirror?."

Sheena tilted her head in confusion. But, she quickly took the mirror and held out to Kim Shin.

"Thank's!."

Kim Shin replied. As, he took the square shape mirror from Sheena.

And, looking at the mirror, Kim Shin found a unfamiliar face. Red like fiery hair, sharp brown eyes, small pointed nose and thin lips. While, his forehead is circled by bandages.

'Sigh'

Kim Shin sighed inwardly, After he saw the unfamiliar face that determined that he's not in his real body.

Kim Shin was perplexed in his situation. So, he tried to think once more.

"Hmm, brother, What's wrong?"

Sheena curiously called her brother.

But, Kim Shin didn't hear what Sheena's said. Because, he's still in thought deeply.

"BROTHER!? "

Sheena yelled.

Startled by the yell, Kim Shin woke up from his thoughts.

"Ah! Yes?."

Kim Shin answered confusedly.

"What's wrong with you?."

Sheena asked in worry.

"Huh?. I-It's nothing!."

Kim Shin stuttering replied. He lied. Because, he can't tell to his suppose to be sister that he is not her real brother.

"Are you sure?."

Sheena questioned once more.

"Yes, Don't worry about me."

Kim Shin replied. As, he seriously nodded his head.

"Fine, Don't hesitate to tell me. If, there's any problem brother, Okay?."

Sheena said and sweetly smiled.

"Well, Please open your mouth, Big brother!"

Sheena sweetly said. As, she held a spoon of porridge to Kim Shin.

Kim Shin looked at Sheena for a second and unhurriedly opened his mouth.

Kim Shin expects that the porridge taste will be bad because of their poor status. But, he was wrong. Because, it was delicious to think that it was cooked by a professional chef.

"How is it?."

Sheena worriedly asked for Kim Shin's review.

Kim Shin slowly swallowed the porridge. As, he looked seriously at Sheena.

"Uhm, It's good. I like it. Please give me more"

Kim Shin answered truthfully.

"Hehe. Of course, you can have this. I really made this just for you"

Sheena chuckled. As, she fed Kim Shin.

After feeding Kim Shin, Sheena left the wooden hut to let Kim Shin have a sleep.

Finally, left alone. Kim Shin tried to call out his Window System.

'Open Status'

But, nothing happened.

'Huh?!'

He was confused. So, he tried to call out once more.

'Open Status!'

Still, nothing appeared.

"OPEN STATUS!"

And,what's he afraid to happen was really happened.

The System is not working. He didn't know where is he. He's in a different body.

Lot's of weird things happened. Ever since, he stepped inside that weird dungeon.

Without any idea what to do. Kim Shin ended up sleeping peacefully.

And the next day.

Kim Shin asked Sheena about a lot of things. And, he discovered that Sheena is four years younger than him. Kim Shin as Hyunsik has the same age of 19. He also got to know that their parents are both adventurers that died in a mission, when they are still kids.

Hyunsik job is a farmer in their village. Kim Shin also learned that Gran, son of the Village Chief is the cause of his injury.

Gran always bullied Hyunsik. Ever since, he was a child. Because of the reason that they don't have parents like a normal family.

Being a son of the Village Chief, Hyunsik didn't bother about, whatever Gran did to him.

But, he didn't expect that Gran would turn his attention to his little sister.

Gran s.e.x.u.a.lly harassed his little sister. But, fortunately one of the villager saw the act of Gran and quickly tell to Hyunsik.

So, all the bullying Hyunsik endured was exploded out. Hyunsik immediately rushed to Gran, and he punched him that broke two teeth of Gran.

The furious Gran, called all his thug friends to beat Hyunsik.

Learning about the bravery of Hyunsik, Kim Shin can't help but to admire him.

To forget all the consequences just to protect his little sister is really a heroic act.

Back at his situation, Kim Shin didn't find any clue where he at right now. Because, he is still laying on the wooden bed.

The days gone by. As, Sheena took care of Kim Shin every day. Until, he completely recovered.

Gran didn't come to trouble them since the day they beat Hyunsik.

Kim Shin quickly felt closer to his lovely little sister who always worried about his well-being.

Just by almost two weeks with Sheena, Kim Shin already treat Sheena. As, his real little sister.

Kim Shin enjoyed his days with Sheena. Until, an unforgettable moment happened.

It was at lunchtime. Kim Shin was watering his farm, when he realized that Sheena was still nowhere to be found. Normally, Sheena will always bring Kim Shin lunch.

He decided to look for Sheena. So, Kim Shin walked to the wooden hut of Sheena.

"Sheena, are you inside?"

Kim Shin yelled out of the Sheena's wooden hut.

No one answer inside the hut.

But, what's weird is Kim Shin heard footsteps from inside.

With that Kim Shin curiously stepped inside the hut.

And there Kim Shin saw one of unforgettable scene in his life. He found the lifeless, n.a.k.e.d and swimming in her blood laying on the ground Sheena.

Besides Sheena corpse is Gran whose trying to put on his pants, and his two friends.

"Sh*t!"

Gran cursed.

Kim Shin, didn't expect this moment will come. He felt like dying, he can't think straight, he failed to protect his first ever little sister, and he failed as a brother.

Tears roll down from Kim Shin reddish eyes. As, he looked at the culprits of his dead sister. Kim Shin anger rose up high in the sky.

He never felt this feeling before. Even the day he died, he never felt like to destroy everything around him.

Kim Shin glared like crazy at Gran, and his friends.

He gritted his teeth and clenched his hands to fist. As, he furiously dashed straight to one of Gran friends.

Kim Shin didn't have his stats. In fact, currently he is quite weak for a normal person.

With a BAM!.

He kicked the stomach of one of the Gran friends.

It stumbled down on the ground. As, he also felt pain from the impact.

"You, F*cker!"

Gran cursed Kim Shin.

The still standing friend of Gran, was dazed by the sudden attack of Kim Shin.

Kim Shin didn't let the chance slip, and he immediately punched at the right face of the dazed man.

*BANG!*

It also fell on the ground.

On the other hand, Gran also takes the chance to assault Kim Shin.

With a knife in his hand, Gran thrust the knife to Kim Shin back.

But, Kim Shin suddenly turned at Gran and quickly grab Gran's right hand that holding the knife and unhesitatingly twist it.

"ARRRRGHHH"

Gran cried in pain and the knife fell on the ground with a Clank!

"You..will pay for this, my father won't let you go Hyunsik!"

Gran gravely said.

Kim Shin didn't answer Gran, and he gave a heavy punch to the Gran's face.

*BANG!*

"ARGHH!"

Gran fell on the ground unconscious.

All the culprits was laying on the ground.

Kim Shin picked up the knife on the ground and pierced the culprits heart with a bloody knife.

Afterwards, Kim Shin walked closer to Sheena's corpse.

He silently held Sheena's body to his arms.

"I-I'm sorry that I'm not a good brother to you. I didn't do well my responsibility. I just let you die. I'm really sorry, I just hope you're now on a peaceful place. I already avenge you my little sister."

Kim Shin cried a lot. He can't explain what his feeling right now. He just want to get out of this place with Sheena.

So, Kim Shin lift Sheena's body. He decided to bury Sheena in a wonderful place.

But, before Kim Shin got to leave the wooden hut.

He felt a hot fluid flowing out from his back.

'Ugh!'

Kim Shin taste blood in his mouth. As, he felt pain from his back.

He slowly turned his head to look at his back, and he found Gran holding the knife that pierced his back through his heart.

"You, didn't expect this right, Hyunsik?"

Gran said grimly.

"I am born different, My heart was at the right side of my c.h.e.s.t.."

"Now, you don't have to worry about your sister. You will meet her soon! Haha"

Gran laughed maniacally.
